Mithias vaguely sees a dragon image forming on his hand. "Oh no. I wish I could save you, but maybe I should make sure Number 5 sticks around."
"There's another one?" Mithias tried to clear some nanobots off where his eyes were.
Hey, it is technically after work.
Angela exhaled long and rubbed the back of her neck in a self-soothing motion. she walked into the darkened church and was very glad Bouwe had lit a candle. She smiled at him as he touched the holy water. He was still so amazed with his change back to humanity. It was endearing. Suddenly they heard a sound from the front of the building. Someone was coming in the front door.

"Let's go see who's there." Angela cautiously moved forward, vaguely keeping behind pillars and walls in case whoever it was was unfriendly, one hand on her purse strap. She peered around the corner.
The golden-eyed vampire Mithias sat back in his chair quietly for a while. Viorica, for all her flaws, had given some critical information. Mithias listened to the exchanges of those around him, the whimpers of the newly turned, the non-sensical verbal diarrhea of William's mindrush, and Evelyn's caring attempts to make the fledglings more comfortable. Mitch's arrival wasn't necessarily unwelcomed, for he was innocent as any of them... any of them that weren't lying that is.

Although there were clearly more important matters to attend, such as the social upheaval that three murdered human children would cause and the intentions of this mysterious vampire sire, Mithias addressed a more immediate topic: the fledglings. The fiber of Mithias' very being, whether alive or dead, was built on truth. It made him who he was, and that is why he couldn't help himself. Although he had a heart, sometimes truth called him to be cruel.

With a heavy sigh and a frown, Mithias stared at the table. "Lies." He said.

The others stopped what they were doing, each of the elders flashing a glance his direction, wondering exactly who the rebel Mithias was accusing this time. Who was he attacking? What lie was he calling out? Was he about to reveal some interesting piece of information?

"This blood is indeed from humans who are now dead, but it was not given freely or knowingly, nor was it taken after their hearts stopped beating." He glanced from Viorica to the fledglings, particularly to Angel. He cast no blame at Viorica for having taken the blood. In fact, if anything, it was a necessity to help the new fledglings stay alive, but he wanted them to know. "Think about it. Dead blood doesn't flow, and what altruistic humans would be around enough in number to each give enough blood to fill these bowls without dying? Hm? No. It makes no sense. I will enlighten you." Mithias got up to walk closer to the three new vampires. "You have a choice between a painful, second death now, or an immortality which WILL involve slaying your former kind. Even if you can manage to con a gift of blood from a human, and leave them alive, you will still be hated, reviled, and outcast. That is the truth." He closed his cloak around him. "I will not take your choice from you, but consider this. If you do chose to live as a vampire, you will have the power to change this world. You can prevent murders such as your own."
The walking nanobot-covered magnet walks over to Teo and Najimi.
"... Hello? I can't really see very well like this."
Mithias had dropped some distance before Teo made his crazy, flying banana-hammer attack. Falling, he watched behind him with a quirked eyebrow as the attack merely resulted in Number 5 taking on a new, more disturbing shape, and Teo getting face-palmed into some kind of brief coma.

The shockwave, and heatwave, of a blast not far from them passed through the three as Toguro and Minx were concluding their battle. Mithias snapped his wings open instinctively stopping his descent to check for new threats. Glancing down quickly, he saw Michael and Kevin, the former looking injured... perhaps dying. Toguro had caused serious, godlike damage. Minx was burned and Darkside was... well who the hell knows.

Mithias came to the conclusion he wasn't high when he saw Number 5 mimic the shape and cartoonish grin of Teo. So, it was clear that physical attacks of any kind would do little to disturb the nanobot matrix, which was quite intelligent as a collective. The individual robots would simply let go of each other and fly apart and come back together as needed. They were too small to cut, heat, cold, force, and etc. resistant, and apparently had some endless unknown energy supply. The only way to control them seemed to be to contain them somehow, but how?

The first option that came to mind seemed rational enough, and with the shimmering soul-dust of Number 5 quickly beginning to follow Tugoro through the portal, Mithias had little time to reconsider. Since it seemed to have worked so well for him last time, once again, Mithias the Tsukune-infused vampire changed himself into a magnet, falling pretty hard in the process.

Immediately, the field of the magnet reached out infinitely, as if it were always there, drawing on the separate, tiny bodies of the nanobots. Like sparkling sand, or snow-dust the bulk of Number 5's makeup was sucked backward, away from the portal, to stick all over Mithias. ... ew.

Mithias the magnet separated himself some legs once on the ground, and while covered in fuzzy nano-bits, resembled a metal tree.
Okok. I will post for the bloodhound soon.
Alright. Ive been plotting. I havent forgotten about this. Will come back and post soon.

((Sorry for not replying to you earlier.))As Mithias slashes at the host of souls, his blade seems to glance past one. The souls should have been devoured, and yet, it seems to be too solidly attached to this world. Of course, that was only possible for the souls of living beings, solidly attached to corporeal forms, which would need to be struck in order to damage the soul. But here, high in the sky, there was nothing corporeal it could be attached to, air was far too moldable to hold something as complex as a soul. So what.....A glimpse, a flash. That was all. Had Mithias not possessed vampiric senses, it would have been impossible to see, even this slight glance. However, just for an instant, it had seemed as if the very air had reflected a ray of light. It was strange and confusing, and impossible above all. Was his opponent invisible, perhaps a swarm of invisible objects? Could it have hidden itself from his senses to make attacking it nearly impossible? Or, of course, it could just be small. Really, really, really small. As Mithias realized it, he simultaneously realized that the slight zooming that had marked the Host's presence was not that of magical energy. it wasn't the crackling of lightning, or any form of magic at all. It was the soft humm of billions upon billions of microscopic engines, floating through the air. Nanobots, machines made so tiny, they were the perfect host for such a large amount of souls. Each was only the size of a grain of sand, nearly impossible to detect with even vampiric eyes, and even harder yet to attack physically. This wasn't some kind of mystical entity, it was the product of mad science. But whomever built this abomination would have to have access to a large number of souls, as well as being an expert on Soular Physics. It could only be......Goddamnit. Stein did this. And he probably did it on purpose.During this prolonged batch of thought, the pressure of intruding thoughts had been nearly constant, as the strange war machine attempted to perform it's psychic attacks. As impossible to penetrate as ever, Mtihias' mental sheilds held fast. This left both sides at an impasse, an immovable object struck by an unstoppable force. While Mithias would have a hard time harming this foe, 5 couldn't use it's main method of attack either. As such, it only logically followed that one of the two was going to have to adapt to the situation.Billions of tiny machines formed together, miniaturised mechanisms interlocking, magnetic fields holding them in place as they formed ever more complex structures. Synthetic muscle and skin, covering a metal skeleton. A nexus of electrical impulses, mimicking the human brain, focused through soular energy. Organs replaced with energy reserves and storage areas, wiring, as well as additional stability enhancers. It was somehow both a strange and beutiful sight, seeing this recreation of the human body, as if performed by invisible hands. It became far more disturbing when Mithias realized what was truly happening. Even as the skin was molded by the muscles, and a second layer of mimicked clothing was formed outside the main body, it became increasingly obvious that Mithias was looking at a copy of himself, at least physically. Two large wings extended from the clone's back, feathers replaced by miniature engines, propelling the structure upwards with soular energy. Long metal ribs kept them together, like the bastardized child of science and religion. A large katana formed the clone's visible arsenal, it's blade covered in intricate carvings. Soular energy crackled over it's edge, and it was clear this was more than a simple sword, honing the raw energy of soular resonance to an edge. It's stance was uncertain, it wasn't quite used to this body, perhaps. Or maybe it was simply mirroring Mithias' own current uncertainty, echoing his actions as it did his form. It's expression, however, was blank. Absolutely neutral, inhumanly so, in fact. Almost like looking into the eyes of a dead man.Silent, for a moment, it just floated there, like a silent reflection in a still pond. Except this particular reflection had wings. And a katana. Also, it most likely wanted to kill you. So a very suspicious pond, which most likely contained illegal substances. Or Gabriel was just up to his usual shit, and had convinced some poor moron to undergo plastic surgery, just for a practical joke. Then, Number 5 charged, shooting forward, blade raised for a clumsy overhead strike.

Sorry for the long quote. Blame Wiz.

Mithias watched as the nanobots took form, making the realization that each individual nanobot hosted a soul, and that these souls were somehow captured by Stein and forced into this construct. He hovered, his black leathery wings doing a good job of keeping his body very still. There was no reason to attack yet, but there was much to learn, and so he watched patiently, like an honorable opponent while his enemy prepared.

The vampire frowned as he saw what form the microscopic robots had collectively decided to take. They were mirroring him as much as mocking him. A poor choice really, since Mithias was the ultimate expert at being himself. Still, regardless of what physical shape the nanobots took, the fact remained that the souls they contained were presumably innocent. Feeding them to his demon blade had to be avoided on moral principle, unless it became the only way to stop #5.

Mithias initially hovered in place as the attack began. He noted the speed of his enemy, the body position, the fact that they were both ariel and unable to use anything but their wings to change direction or to accelerate. It was slow up here. The mimic body also wasn't showing a solid coordination in its limbs, but it may have been holding back on that first attack.

At the last moment, Mithias dodged aside. A titanium alloy blade smashed its edge into the structure of the nanobots' left wing, crushing a few of the tiny mechanical units as it cut. The demonblade had vanished. Making sure to disallow himself any vulnerability, Mithias kept clear of any retaliating strikes and dropped like a stone to the ground. Now, he wanted to see if Number 5 could coordinate that pair of legs.
