"It's my home." Bug says, and as Mithias steps though the portal, they find themselves with in the realm of the forsaken, a never ending blush field of blue grass, with strange spirits floating about. For a second, Mithias felt as though there was no air to breath, and no heat at all to feel...but this quickly went away, and by the time Mithias had stepped though the portal, Bug was a good twenty meters ahead of him. "I would hurry....if you get lost, something might try to spirit you away..." Bug jests, as he keeps walking.

Mithias deftly closed the gap between himself and bug, his wings folding low behind him and uncoiling the demonblade in his hand. He had the look of a hunter in his eyes. Any spirit that dared would meet with strict business. "I have been here before. It was the first place Bob took me after I..." Mithias stopped. He was going to say, "...after I died," but the truth was, he didn't know if he had been killed or not. He had no idea how he had originally "...came to the coffee lounge. I remember there were lights, guards. Am I correct?"
I'm good with skipping ahead. I may post to that affect.

Bug nods, as the portal stays open long enough for Mithias to follow him, which oddly enough leads to a robotic's lab, being run by a cyborg-girl, with long black hair, and in work overalls with a grease stained shirt under neath. "Tsubaki!" Bug calls out, getting the girl's attention."Yea? What is it." She asks, sounding a bit annoyed."I've got something for you to study, while me and mithias search for my father." Bug says, as he hands off the glass to Tsubaki. She looks it over, holding it with her robotic arm, as her robotic eye begins to do a deep scan of the object, slowly learning more about its chemical, and magical makeup......"While she's doing that..." Bug starts, as he takes out two ear pieces, and hands one to Mithias. "Put this in, it'll let her contact us when her scan's done...as for now..." Bug says, as he uses his portal key to reprogram where the portal inside of Tsubaki's lab exited to, the smell of death could be felt, as Bug steps though, waiting for Mithias.

Mithias passed through the portal, quickly picking up the mechanical sounds coming from the other side. He hardened his skin and clothes into a black, rock-like carapace. His hands and feet were both clawed, and only his head remained the regular, white-ivory color of his flesh. So many times he had passed through a portal only to be met with a caustic blast or incineration on the other side. As of yet unharmed, he crouched down near some machienery. Bug looked at ease, so he got up and followed, point pointing all lifeforms, heartbeats, warm blood and all, first thing. Tsubake seemed fairly... human. Clearly she was busy, but Bug's need of her was worth the rudeness of interruption. Mithias accepted the ear device and followed Bug through the second portal. Golden eyes lingered on Tsubake blankly before he passed through.

This portal opened up to a necrotic aura and scent of decay. Undead himself, Mithias still didn't enjoy being surrounded by it. He frowned, but he'd have to deal. "This isn't a good place, is it Bug?"
Mithias looked at Asura and Teo as they made clear they would be going after Genocide. Turning then to Bug, he announced his own decision. "Bug, you shouldn't be left to go after your father alone. I'm going with you. Look, don't argue with me. I know exactly how much a father means. I'll help you find him, then all three of us can return to stop Genocide." Mithias nodded at him reassuringly. "Make that portal big enough for two, friend."

Just as Genocide was exiting, someone else entered the portal after him.

Appearing on the other side among Genocide, Number 5, and Tugoro, Reaper crossed his arms, guns in hand. He had heard what Genocide had said and wanted to be a part of it. "Only in death is there truth." He greeted them.
Looking for action... well, looking for story. We need a new premise... or did we actually have one? Why are we fighting again? Martin? Hey Martin! What drug did I just inhale? ... Actually, I can't understand you. Could you just write it in blood for me on the side of this van. Thanks bro.
I like a little nickleback. I also like lincoln park.
Suddenly, the mechanical draw of breath became audible behind the group. An uninvited intruder to the meeting appeared out of the shadows to the door. The glow of red eyes slowly brightened from behind a metallic skull-shaped mask under a black hood. The being was some kind of half-machine or cyborg. It held up two futuristic guns across it's front and stood ominously before them. Having overheard the conversation, an electric voice repeated, "'True Destruction...' The eyes flared brighter, and if it could have born a crazy grin, it would have. "I WORSHIP THEE!"
"Outside balance?" The vampire repeated, looking at Bug with the strange object. "'Drac.' That's the same that ruled that underworld I had first fallen into. Bug, if Drac has been cast into some unreachable multiverse, how will we find him? ... What are you going to do with mana crystals?"

Since Bug seemed occupied, Mithias looked back to Genocide and his lot. "Wait. Why would you give us this artifact? Hm...You're forcing us to use it by trapping our ally." The vampire didn't like this scenario. "You're using us." He added bluntly. It was clear that genocide wanted someone else to do his dirty work for him. Mithias and company were either going to all end up dead, or they would trip some chain of events that would undo the balance between creation and destruction entirely as Genocide had hoped. "We're not foolish, Genocide. We're not going to help you get what you want. You may as well give up, and take whatever grudge you have against existence itself with you."
The man it seemed had finally passed out. Mithias laid him gently on the ground and said something to the effect of getting him some medical attention. There seemed to be an eerie, long pause in the surrounding clamor. The lights had switched back on, ironically darkening the vampire's surrounding view with light pollution. Mithias raised his eyes to Matt.

The man was blank. Wiped out. Unresponsive. SOLDIER was down a general at the moment, which was unfortunate, whoever, a long listen revealed an uncharacteristic lull in activity. Were they under attack or weren't they? Displeased, Mithias told Lightning to stay and organize the human soldiers. "I'm scouting." Was all he had to say to get away on his own. There was no point in rationalizing what had gone on with his father showing up. Centuries of speculation would never figure the immortal out. Mithias walked swiftly to the other side of the base, leaving the site for where he sensed the explosions and gunfire had come from. There *was* supposed to be an attack tonight, events had been set on an alternate path. Mithias had gotten used to the unsettling feeling that he wouldn't figure it out until far too late. So it always was with Gabriel.

A state of emergency had been declared in the city. If anything were going on, it was there. Using the alleys and rooftops, Mithais made his way in, alone. Vampires were present. He could sense them, but none were particularly powerful. Not having mind-reading or detection powers had its drawbacks, as he could not get much more than vague information about their number and location.

He'd wait. If any killing was going on, the scent of blood would find him. Mithias crouched near the edge of a high rooftop and looked across the city to a belltower of a church.
