Mithias looked back at the door. He knew Drac was upset. It didn't take looking at him to tell. "I'd like that." He answered, allowing the subject to be diverted. Truth be told, Mithias was glad this all seemed to be a dream, that Drac had been found, and that the entity behind him hadn't actually been his father.. nor taken him up on the option of killing him while his back was turned. He placed his hand on the door handle. "I would also like a strong word with Tsubaki on the other side of this door." He narrowed his eyes and pushed it open.
Case File #7251 "Void"
Hey Grombus. Welcome to the thread. I like mystery, and I like your character, especially having some kind of disease-inducing power. I understand you want to keep a lot of the details ooc, so you can pm them to me if you want, but as GM, i have to know how OP he might be. Pm me. What can your characters do?
The well armed rogue took the phone. "Thank you. I expect a trap as well. Unless you have a computer with net access in the bar... I'll be back shortly. Don't go anywhere." Stepping out he vanished into the night. Back on his hidden motorcycle, Mithias had well... a computer. Connecting the phone and running some hacked police software he came up with a map of the phone's whereabouts for the last multiple days. Simultaneously searches were run on the numbers the phone had called and where those phones were located at the time of the call, but the results would take some time to come back. He'd get a text. Until then, he'd hold into this phone. The kidnapper-slash-torturer might call again. About twenty minutes later, Mithias reappeared at the Tortuga. Shifty-eyed, he entered, then found Trixie and Alister Still at the bar. "Look" He came over, holding a flat-screen phone. These are the locations frequented by your Adelisa. I suggest we take caution in patrolling these areas. They could be where Maria is kept, but they could also be irrelevant. Our enemy may expect us to be looking there. I will have more information soon, but my software takes time to run its iterations. I will keep you informed." Seeing Alister and Trixie looking unsettled, he continued. "Let me start at this location, by the docks. I will not be discovered. I suggest you two stay together, if you are planning on going out to investigate."
<Snipped quote by kishin asura> I did? Well, I lied. Or maybe it didn't. Depends on how badly you guys screw up ^^.

Mithias held out a white hand. "Yes. I can do better. Give the phone to me. I have ways of getting us the information. I can find out where it was purchased, by whom, what calls it has made, and where it has traveled in the last two weeks. That would of course be before Maria went missing I assume?" Mithias took the phone, if it was handed to him, and immediately looked it over, pulling open the battery case and checking the numbers. "...so easy I would suspect a trap."
Well it was to Matthijs, so Dutch, obviously.
Alistair “Neat... but you do realise I sent the other investigators away at the door, right?” Alistair asked wryly. “That being said, if you're able – or willing – to kill rogues with us, I'm not one to stop someone who seems very capable.”
Mithias bowed slightly. "Forgive me, but I found the conversation inside much more valuable. I wish only that we had known each other better before this, yet the fact that we do not may be to our advantage. This vampire who is keeping your dear Maria hostage, has no idea I am here, and furthermore has no idea I would be helping you." intelligence sparkled behind those inhuman yellow eyes. "Can that call be traced?"
Alistair nodded to Adrian distractedly, then shot a curious glance over at the rogue as he spoke, folding his arms across his chest. “Here to state the obvious?” he asked, more coldly than he intended. Tiredness – and a lack of proper, nutritious human blood for over five days now – was taking it's toll, and Trixy's acrid blood wasn't a good enough substitute. “Bar's closed, so get out unless you're here to be useful.”
Mithias stood when spoken to. "I am here to be useful. Mira Kingston has hired me as a hand and private investigator, yet I have other more personal reason for my interest in this city, and your family. Although you do not know me, I would offer my assistance to you regardless."
Mithias listened and watched the scene unfold. Praetor left, Adelisa left and took Morven as her escort. Alister was regretting unlife since becoming a clan leader. All this time, Mithias had been silent and observant, but finally he spoke. "This is quite a predicament you have here."
It says "you had one job."
