Alright. I want it to be a time after Christianity existed, cuz I like the whole heaven vs. hell religious drama. Let's say it was more more than a few hundred after ancient Rome, and Gabe was by then already insanely old. Perhaps our young hunter didn't realize how little of a chance he stood when he went about his noble quest. He'd probably have gotten on well with Johnathan, minus the insanity.

Vampire Template:

Name: Mithias Aldaric Varomere
Age: 700-800?
When you were turned: As above. Early middle ages, Eastern Europe... perhaps it was Prague, but who knows any longer.
Clothes: Long black coat and brimmed hat, boots, gloves.
Hair: long black
Eyes: golden
Weapons: In a typical one-on-one, Mithias dual wields a pair of titanium alloy longblades, with which he can occasionally deflect bullets out of the air, if he is paying attention. Plate vambraces serve as a decent defense for most close-combat if his speed doesn't suffice. His other, less-lethal weapon is a simple whip. Expertly manipulated by his practiced hand, it can do some significant impact damage, grasp objects, or be set aflame if he feels the occasion calls for it. Of course, a vampire cannot fail to be accustomed to modern technology; Mithias can use a variety of guns and vehicles.
Powers: Enhanced speed, strength, and healing, as would be expected. Mithias has developed the ability to expend some willpower to shield his mind from his sire. ie resistance to mental control.

Mithy gets on well with mortals, but has managed to stay out of the limelight and all but forgotten to history for quite some time. Having fallen into the role of protector of humanity and regulator of vampirekind, it's no surprise Mithias is an agent of SOLDIER.

Damien leaned forward and addressed the demon. "I have an answer for you, fiend. Your kind doesn't have the greatest reputation amongst us, and to be fair, we lose our chance to take one of you out if we offer to give fair warning. You're not exactly an innocent creature, you know. I will admit to having reservation about destroying angels, but demons, and undead for that matter, are my goddamned duty to dispatch."

Damien was sitting up. "Saved by an angel. I can't believe it." He looked at them both, noting Alex was also there and a demon hovered nearby. "I'm Damien. Why didn't you let me die? Either of you? Non-humans like you are notorious for wasting human life... we're nothing to you, supposedly. ... Is there something you want from me?"
