As if Miller did have enough backup between Lambda, the sniper, and the arrival of two SOLDIER trucks of swat guys, the high pitched ring of a hovering fightercraft announced itself. "SOLDIER" displayed across it's black belly, the high tech, military vehicle lowered itself slowly behind Miller's and Lambda's position, displaying it's full arsenal of weaponry, aimed at Magnus. SOLDIER was getting serious.

A new voice chimed on the SOLDIER coms, speaking somewhat slow and resonating, "Miller. This is Nightingale. Your 'special equipment' has arrived. Awaiting orders." Behind darkly tinted windows, special agent Varomere sat at the controls of the fightercraft, #709, ready to respond instantly should Magnus do anything other than suffer from his wounds. It had been a short flight from Texas, but this was the fastest SOLDIER could get him out here. The vampire narrowed his eyes at Magnus, recognizing him for an oldblood. Had Magnus been the source of power Mithias had sensed as he had arrived in Kilo Point? Something seemed strange... There was something else distracting the vampire pilot. A prickling feeling creeped up the back of his pale neck.
