Beep boop I am interested.

Probably try getting in on this with a hybrid faction comprising my idea for joining this last time around and another fantasy thing I've been revisiting a bit lately. Overall flavour is "kind of a shithole human territory ruled through population demographics by a bunch of subterranean lizardfolk".
Equestrian Fringe Space

One of the various pods of the spindle-like Kuuros scout-ship would disengage from the main vessel, engaging thrusters and setting itself on a lazy course towards the larger Equestrian diplomatic vessel. Given a cargo bay to set down in, the ship would gently set itself down, waiting for any sign of their hosts before opening up its landing ramp and allowing a trio of odd, gleaming-white bird-people to step out of the shuttle.

Two of them were wearing strange robes consisting of long sheets of ashen fabric held together by straps and buckles, while the third seemed to be clad in some sort of orange jumpsuit and was lugging around a heavy mechanical backpack; in point of fact it was their mobile translator device, keyed to the neural relay headsets they were all wearing.

Oh thens its not a risk as much as I though it would be then. I was a bit worried it tried to be used to make people commit suicide with there ships or steal sensitive data.

Suicide isn't plausible, no. Sensitive data isn't quite out the window, though; it depends on the individual. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who might stick their neck out to grab some classified info for their best friend if they asked nicely enough and made it seem important. Equally, there are other people that wouldn't be willing to take that risk, even for their best friend.

Just to put it out there, all but the strongest willed humans are easily affected by the whole mind control thing, along with specially altered cyborgs with artificial eyes.

Good to know!

All told, the control isn't that strong anyway. I more or less used "charm person" as the guideline; it makes you consider the siren to be a very good friend as well as a bit of an authority figure, but that's about as far as it goes; they can't order you to commit suicide unless you're already the sort of person that would kill yourself if your best friend told you to. You can't be ordered to turn on your allies unless you'd already be willing to do that for a good friend, etc.

The only thing that's really especially concerning is that if the siren gives you a specific long-term order, that order will stick around in the back of your mind even after the "charm" part wears off, and you might find yourself doing things for reasons you don't entirely remember.

The Kuuros vessel continued to idle in place, peering at the Equestrian ship from across the void of space as its crew attempted to process the translation info. Unfortunately, the process could only be refined so far without a dedicated effort at cooperation; cryptography software could only go so far, even with a dictionary. For the foreseeable future, the Kuuros would have to make do as best they could.

Accident upon disaster!
Speaking-code unassailable in at current space/time, mayhaps correct errant assembly in approaching-tense?
Qualifications of a friend indubitable!
Will await arrival in many jubilation; pleasant expectations of an meetings with freely open limbs in near apparent space/time!
Bad translations are fun.

The Kuuros vessel's sensors practically twitched at the signal it received, re-configuring themselves to lock onto its source and identify the sender. Meanwhile, the information itself was fed through disused translator circuits, cryptographic engines churning to render meaning into the words. Eventually, the meaning made clear, the crew put together a reply. It wasn't perfect; translation was a messy business. But nonetheless, it managed to convey the intended message without much issue.

Salutations of most excellent happenstance!

Immediacy in purpose! Diving towards babbling-speaking-sounds, arrive at apparent time/space!
Will wait for meetings and bear all open limbs in admiration!

I have aswell. Also if you could go to the wiki linked in the OP of the OOC that be great, we want to keep that up to date.

I'm not sure what exactly you want me to put up there. A page for my entry sheet?
Posted.
Equestrian Fringe Space

A narrow, spindle-like ship laden with sensor modules and crew compartments popped back into realspace with a ripple, antennae arrays unfurling and beginning to stream data on the surroundings. For now, the ship was merely drifting serenely with its engines dead, waiting to stitch together a better picture of the surrounding system before heading towards any points of interest. The vessel, a fairly lightweight long-range scoutship, had been dispatched along with a host of others to investigate signal anomalies that the Kuuros Banner had detected from their experimental listening posts.

Something in this system was making noise, and the kjurii, curious as ever, were eager to find out what.
