@Azereiah Misha narrowed her eyes and raised her hands. "Oh, he's a gentleman!" She looked at Kianna. "Look at this chivalry!"
@Azereiah Misha's hand moved to her waist, where she had a knife wrapped in a makeshift sheath. She narrowed her eyes, knowing she would have to explain herself but unwilling to let on any information that could jeopardize the group. "I don't gotta tell you anything," she hissed. "The kid fell in the water, and your lovely watchdog over here grabbed him."
Misha approached cautiously but at a steady pace through probably quite a bit of water. She paused when she reached the shore. She snarled at Brick. "You have my healer on the ground, 'bout on his death bad, and you're talking tough to me for seeing if he's okay?" She raised her brows and fixed him with a cold stare.
Misha glanced at Kianna for a moment to fix her with a cold glare, then drew her gaze back to Destin, who apparently wasn't dead.
Misha froze, her eyes locked with Kianna's. Damn it, she thought. If I run now, I'll look like a damn coward. Instead, she just contorted her face into a haughty glare. She glanced down at Destin's limp form and Aya, trying to save him. I should thank them.... Nope!
Misha dug her fingernails into her palms to calm the rising panic in her throat. She padded to the edge of the water, trying to find a shallower area so she could wade across and retrieve what she assumed was now the cold corpse of her friend. She dreaded the confrontation, though. She could see Kianna from here and didn't want to face her.
Misha stands on the other bank of the river, horrified. She can't see if Destin is breathing from here, but she can see Kianna struggling to save me. She winces. Even an asshole like her is better for Destin than me.
Misha stood up straight and watched the pair struggle in the icy death grip of the river. She couldn't contain her feeling of uselessness as she stood on the bank, unmoving and unhelping. "Please live, motherf*ckers," she said under her breath.
Misha crouches beside the river, shaking and breathing heavily as she watches a familiar form bolt from the very unfamiliar opposing woods. Now's the time to run, she thinks. She braces herself to speed away, but she can't help but stay to watch out for Destin. He trusted me, she thought. He said he cared about me - and this is what I do.
@Fionraella Misha shook, frozen in place by the edge of the river. She half considered her options, digging her fingers into the fabric of her shirt as her mind raced. She raced towards the edge of the water, forcing herself to watch the water instead of turning tail and running for her life. Maybe that would be better. "No!" she whispered, mentally slapping herself. What are you thinking? She was poised to lunge into the water when she heard a noise in the bushes on the other side of the river.
