Echo Nitrua

18(Jason is the older twin)

Human

No powers

Her history is exactly like her brothers. However, while he went off to Pluto with their parents Echo was sent to live with her grandma on a settlement on the moon. She had been born weaker and frailer than her twin so her parents were afraid that her body wouldn’t be able to handle such a change in the atmosphere. Her grandmother worked as a medic on the planets hospital and Echo would go to work with her and learn all she could. She wasn’t as violent as her twin and wanted to learn how to help people, not hurt them. She lived peacefully with her grandmother, talking to her brother on the phone each night. When she was ten she became worried. Neither her parents nor twin had contacted her. It was then that her grandmother had received news that her children had been killed and her grandson was being sent to live with her. Echo was heartbroken but she still had her twin and so she as thankful about that. When they were 16 Jason was bent on joining the fleet. Echo wanted to go with him, to make sure he didn’t get himself killed but he was adamant that she stay on the planet. Echo agreed only to calm him down but when he left she quickly joined the fleet as well as a Medic and got assigned to his squad.

The only weapon she carries is a gun that shoots a beam that will paralyze anything that comes near her. It doesn’t kill, only stun. And as well as being her assistant, Ghost also stands in as a body-guard to protect Echo.

She is a front line medic. She has an android assistant named Ghost that carries most of her supplies and equipment:
Allen noticed movement out of the corner of his eye and glanced over. He saw that Nathan had switched into a reclining position on the couch. The boy then turned back to the t.v. He watched a show for little bit before he yawned. He turned the television off, changed into his pajamas and clicked off the lights. He crawled under the blankets and snugged down, pulling the covers all the way until they were touching his ear as he laid on his side. He laid there for a moment before his eyes slipped closed and he drifted off to sleep.
Echo nodded to him in thanks and spun out from behind the sphere, letting loose several arrows in quick succession. They slammed into their targets and Echo retreated back behind the sand wall. She waited for a moment before spinning out the opposite side, catching the Urgals off guard and that allowed more of her arrows to hit their targets. She had taken out about ten of them by now and she took out another five that tried rushing at them.
Echo headed towards the forest. Stay here for now. The trees are too packed together for you to fight properly. She told Haku. He growled but obeyed. Echo silently entered the forest, moving like a ghost between the trees. She used her keen hearing to silently make her way to where the enemies were hiding. She didn't bother looking behind her, knowing Jason would follow eventually.
Echo nodded at Jason's words and knelt down. She placed one palm flat against the ground and closed her eyes. Haku stood protectively over her as she concentrated. "There are another 30 or so in the forest behind the town. They were sent here to seek out the rider residing among the humans of Palacar Valley." She said as the wind brought to her the sound of the enemies hiding in the forest. The only reason she knew this was because she heard a few of them talking about it. "There is a Shade, mostly Urgals and a few Dark Elves." She said, opening her eyes and standing. She grabbed her long bow and quiver from Haku's saddle and quickly strung the bow: hooking the bottom of the bow in the strap on the heel of her right boot and bent the bow across her body, stringing. She plucked the string and, satisfied with the tension, notched an arrow. She didn't draw but rather held the bow to the side, relaxed. However she could raise the bow and fire all in a matter of seconds if she needed to.
Echo heard the hiss of an arrow and whirled around just in time to see a wall of sand rise up in front of Jason and deflect the arrow. She watched as the sand formed a sphere around him. Echo raised her flute to her lips and a sharp note rang out. A fierce wind rose up around the urgals and their weapons flew from their hands. A slightly deeper note followed and the ground rumbled as roots exploded from the dirt and wrapped around the urgals, lifting them into the air and holding them in a tight grip.
Echo knew something was off the moment she stepped into town. With her heightened senses she could tell that no fires had been lit recently and there was no sound of movement in the house. She quietly drew her flute. Haku, seeing that, tensed and became alert. Echo slowly approached a house, peering in through the window.
Echo nodded at his statement. She raised an eyebrow at the gourd but she really couldn't question about him carrying odd things. She carried a flute didn't she? Besides, she had seen stranger things. She padded after him, Haku staying by her side.
Haku let out a loud growl and took a step forward. Echo hurriedly wrapped her arms around her dragons neck to calm him. In doing so her cloak's hood fell back, revealing her pointed ears. "So you are the ones we have been searching for then." Echo said, soothingly rubbing Haku's snout as she faced the male and his dragon. "I am Echo and this is my dragon Haku. We have traveled from Ellesmera to find you." She said.
Echo felt her heart leap into her throat and Haku instantly responded to the brief flash of fear he felt coming from his rider. He took to the sky and soon landed beside his rider. He snarled, baring his teeth at the male and the female dragon. He angled himself between the two of them and Echo, gently beginning to nudge Echo back towards the forest. See?! Every time you are left alone you get into trouble. He growled, narrowed eyes still on the figures across from them. Maybe they are the two we've been looking for? Echo protested, laying a hand on his side. He glanced at her before turning back. Who are you? Are you working for the dark king? Haku growled at them.
