Lydia let out a yelp as a shot rang out. She heard something hit the floor and she gasped, mostly sightless darting around. It was quiet and she didn't know if there any more soldiers alive or not. She inched forward, hesitantly going forward. She heard a brief sound of gunfire, a short flash of pain and then everything went dark. Her body crumpled to the floor next to Jason's now fully sightless eyes staring towards the wall.
Lydia let out a hiss of anger and she thrashed in the air, swiping claws in what she hoped was his direction however she didn't manage to hit him nor get herself down. She began cursing at him, spitting out ever swear word she knew. She froze when screams filled the air and she wondered if the boy was going to town on them. "Put me down damn it!" She screeched, writhing more in the air. Suddenly she was grabbed out of the air and she yelped at the cold press of metal against her temple. "Stop or I blow her head off!" The guard, who seemed to have managed to slip around the boy shouted, eyes fixed on Jason. Lydia's eyes narrowed and suddenly the guard screamed in pain and fell to his knees clenching his head. The girl dropped lightly onto the balls of her feet and darted to where she heard the gun drop, scooping it up and holding it against her chest. She was about to call out the boys name but realized a little bleakly that they had never exchanged names. So she backed against the wall and pressed against, all the noise confusing her.
Lydia enhanced hearing picked up him falling backwards and she heard a very faint hiss of pain of leave him. She turned, raising an eyebrow as she opened her mouth to ask him what was wrong but he beat her to it. Her hands shot up to her ears, half-hoping that they had disappeared but nope, they were still there. She heard something shatter against the wall and she jumped in surprise, turning towards the noise even though she couldn't see what it was. She heard him order her to get up and she crossed her arms and glared at him. "I will not hide behind you like a scared little girl. I don't need your help!" She snarled at him, defiantly remaining seated.
Her eyes widened at his words. Sneaking out? Why? Where would they go? Her surprise left her momentarily limp and it allowed Jason to pull her from her bed. By the time Willow regained her senses they were out of the compound and heading down the road. She tugged at Jason's hand, eyes still wide as panic swept through her. "You'll get in big trouble. You could be kicked out of Dauntless if we're caught!"
Lydia sat there quietly, wondering why in the world she felt so embarrassed. He was just a boy for Christ's sake, there wasn't anything to be flustered over. However, seeing as she had tended to avoid people since her accident she really didn't know how to relate well to anyone. She was used to depending on herself and besides, people always dissapointed you in the end anyway. At least the people Lydia has known has. She stared forward, her white eyes now having a permanent blue glow to them. It didn't help her sight any but it did make her seem less human. The cat ears and tail didn't really help either. Speaking of furry appendages. Lydia reached up and hesitantly began running her fingers over the fuzzy triangles. She wondered idly if they were white like the rest of her hair.
Thank you x3
Azure sat anxiously next to Gaara as she stared at Wolverine. She barely knew him but still, she didn't like when grimaces of pain would cross his face. She hated for anybody to be in pain and she wished there was someway to take to pain from him. She flinched when another mutant showed up and her eyes widened. Them, go into the past? But how would they know what to do and where to go? They wouldn't know what to do in that time period. Regardless of her doubts she took Gaara's hand and stepped up to his side, trying to be brave as the sand wrapped around them and they were on their way into the past. The landing was a little rough however the sand sphere kept them from being hurt. Azure had fallen against Gaara as they hit the ground and she slowly raised up, not knowing where they were considering the sand was still covering them. She idly hoped no one had seen that because from what Professor X had told them, this world had yet to know of mutants. Therefore a giant ball of sand falling out of nowhere would be a little hard to explain.
Lydia blinked her eyes open and was meet with the usual darkness. She laid there for a moment before it struck her; the warm thing she was pressing against was breathing, moving. She jerked away, eyes wide as she remembered how she had clung to him last night during the storm. Her pale cheeks tinted red and she scooted away with a mumbled "sorry".
Willow blinked her eyes open, sleepily staring up at his face. She blinked, wondering if she was actually still dreaming. "Jason?" She whispered, reaching out to touch his face to make sure that she was in fact awake. Solid flesh meet her fingertips and she jerked into an upright position. "What are you doing here?! You'll get in trouble!" She whispered frantically, wondering if she could get him out before someone else wakes up and sees him there.
Echo watched as Jason trapped them and held them in the air. She stepped forward, about to start questioning them as they pleaded they had information to tell. However she flinched back in surprise when the sand closed around them. Blood exploded out and it was thanks to her fast reflexes that she escaped from being doused. She heard something explode and she whirled around, letting loose an arrow at the Shade who had been about to throw a spell at Jason. It pierced his heart and she watched as the beings skin turned transparent then split apart as the darkness erupted from him. Echo flinched as the unearthly scream pierced her sensitive ear-drums. The shadows dispersed and Echo turned to face Jason, expression unreadable. Haku appeared at her side, having made his way through the trees. He growled at Jason, having seen what had happened in his riders mind. We could have used them to find out information! Why didn't you kill them after rather than before?!
