Dario's violet coloured eyes stared deep into the student infront of him for a long moment, ignoring the woman in the adjacent room and the one who had just rounded the corner.

Dario looked down at the badge, Ozpin had given him his own badge a few days ago. It was buried underneath a pile of notes on his desk but Dario didn't need to check to know that this one was indentical to his. Dario's violet eyes glowed brightly for a moment, like a bulb was shining from behind them, as he used his Semblance to open his wardrobe and pull a t shirt out. He stepped back inside and slipped the shirt on, careful to make sure the boy infront couldn't see his telekinetic abilty.

"You're right. There's a lot we need to talk about," he said as he made his way back outside, closing the door behind him "I'm Dario, and I aassume you're our new team leader."
Hope everyone had a good Christmas! Now that all the family nonsense is over I'll post in the IC and catch myself up on what I've missed
Elliot had kept himself entertained while waitig for the PM, one hand absent mindedly playing with a fidget cube while the other never strayed far from his side arm. The fidget cube was a tiny little thing, as wide as his nail and just as tall, his fingers danced over its edges as he fiddled with it. He noticed a few officers he recognised, shooting a wink or a smile towards anyone who saw him, but he stayed at his post, he was still on duty after all. Today was a casual celebration and the sheer amount of police here assured that any trouble wouldn't be much trouble, and it was that reoaxed attitude that led to Elliot zoning out, almost missing the Prince Minister's appearance. Though in such flamboyant and no doubt expensive clothing he looked more like a fashion model than a Politician. Elliots eye brows furrowed and he kissed his teeth, disapprovingly, remembering why he hadnt voted for this man. To Elliot it just felt as if the man didn't take himself seriously as a politician, his flair for the dramatic was starting to lose its charm.

Elliot snapped back to attention as the officer on duty called for everyone to stand in formation and the scene following of so many police either moving positions or standing up straight was so well rehearsed it looked like it had come from a play. Elliot rushed to his position underneath and slightly to the left of the balcony the PM was currently on. If he craned his head and squinted he just about make out the PMs form. The five men Elliot was currently with pulled automatic rifles from a duffel bag, Elliot taking the last one. They nodded to each other in silent acknowledgement and took up their positions. Elliot let out a raggedy breath to calm himself, and looked out into the crowd.
Dario heard the sound of knocking at his door, and pulled himself out of bed, dragging his covers with him. He walked over and grabbed the door handle but stopped himself as he realised he was stark naked. He considered opening the door like that grinning at the how tge other person might react, but went over and slipped a pair of jeans on anyway. The joke wasn't worth the risk of getting in trouble should the person turn out to be Ozpin or another of the teachers. He opened the door and saw a student there, that was unusual, though his timing was perfect. Dario was half asleep when he knocked and he was becoming suspicious of how long he'd slept for but hadn't bothered to move either way. He leant on the door frame and was about to ask the student what he wanted when he heard a girl from the room on his right speak. He took a step forward so he could poke his head around to see who she was but he didn't recognise either student.
Elliot scanned the crowd with a rhythmic precision, his shoulders tense and his brows knotted. He shifted his weight from one foot to another and glanced towards the PM and then his fellow officers, it seemed they were all getting restless too.

"This PM better hurry the hell up..." Elliot said to no one particular, though he saw the officer on his immediate left, a funny little fellow called Rupert, crack a small grin. Elliot tugged at his jacket and checked his wallet keys and phone were still in there and when he looked back up he spotted a girl talking to the Captain and couldn't help as a fond smile tugged at his lips. Everyone from the station remembered her of course and she had a habit of making all the officers smile and grin when she was brought up in conversation.

Elliot let his shoulders relax, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath in, when he breathed out he opened them again and he found himself enjoyig the day. After all, today was a celebration!
