Hello! Nice to see you, eh?

I'm Yami, a college student and sometimes decent artist heavily influenced by anime/manga styles. Um...I'm not that interesting, really. I do some cosplay stuff and can get really into anything that interests me enough, but that's about it.

I might be in a bit of a slump right now, actually. I'm looking for something really fascinating to pique my interest once again, help me get back into the swing of things. I'm into crazy fantasy situations, especially.

Hmm...nobody actually got the book I intended, but we might as well move on anyway.
No problem, take your time.
IC is up! Feel free to post whenever! I really need to get those pictures, too. I'm just having a hard time finding anything close enough to what I'm imagining... I'll get something up soon, though. For now, Buildings A and B are the magic wing, C is the (mostly) regular hospital, and D is a residence area. I'll have an explanation for that one up shortly. The area the establishment is in consists of a heavily wooded area with a very large clearing at the location of the central buildings (A, B, C, and D included) but there is a view of the ocean far off to the west. There will be more on all of this later.
The hospital was buzzing as it usually did, with people coming and going for various reasons. People would arrive for various reasons: Injuries, sickness, check-ups, just like any other hospital. Unlike most hospitals, though, this one had a separate wing specifically for the study and treatment of magical phenomenon. Humans, non-humans, mythical beasts and even those with unexplainable abilities were admitted for most anything from common sicknesses to powerful curses. From fairies to human wizards and everything in between, the establishment had to have many different kinds of people to deal with the needs of many different kinds of patients. Over time, the hospital grew more successful, and people of all kinds flocked to it for research, employment, or help. With the community growing so quickly, though, it was eventually decided that perhaps more could be done to help the emotional state of many of the people who would wake up or return there every day for their own reasons. Therefore, at the request and backing of a certain magician, a trial program was started for a young crowd of patients. Today, all patients would be called to room A3-214 for the first meeting of the NEST Program. The room would consist of a fairly open space with plenty of windows for a calming view of the outside greenery and the sea off in the distance as well as a few tables and chairs for activities. On the wall at the front of the room sat a whiteboard with a note written in blue: "Please take a seat, I shall return shortly. No fighting or mischief until then. ^_^"
Ah, alright. Be careful though, okay?
Here!
Ahh I came down wrong when spiking a ball hard in Volleyball.
Is your foot going to be alright? It must have been pretty bad if it was enough to send you to the hospital.

Lucifer looked up at the sound of someone shouting. "Hmm? Freaks? Where?" He responded perhaps a bit too casually considering what it was he had just heard. At the sight of the young man, he lifted his free hand to wave as he attempted to approach, still holding on to Liz's hand. "Oh, hello there! You look familiar, have we met before? Oh, wait, give me a moment to think...I'm sure I'll get it." As soon as he got close, he placed his free hand on the young man's shoulder and held him in place close to him, seeming not to worry at all about the fact that there were potential killers in the area. "Hmm...maybe it was...oh no, I think I'm wrong after all. My mistake, I thought I met you back at the shop the other day, but your face is completely different up close, isn't it? Aha~ Terribly sorry about that!" He continued rambling for a few seconds, still gripping the man's shoulder very firmly and with an oblivious-looking smile on his face before he turned to see two other figures further down the street. "Oh, hey! Do I know you two? You'll have to forgive me, my glasses are actually starting to mess with my vision now, so I really can't be absolutely certain from this distance."
Felice watched the next experiment with little interest. She was quick, but that probably meant that the expectations would be raised now. That was what he expected, anyway. Pushing that thought aside for the time being, he started on a few new stretches. Might as well stay limber for whatever else the crazy scientist had in store for the day.
The disappointed teen crossed both arms and pouted, grumbling quietly under their breath. "It's not a battle, it's sparring. There's a difference." Turning away with a huff, the dragon puffed out its cheeks childishly. "Fine, then. This is just like school, after all. Thanks so much, big brother." Maybe there would be time to take out this frustration later, but Devon was already expecting very little excitement from here on out. Still, if laws and tradition played into it...Hmm...
