"Wonderful!" Lucifer removed his hands from the man's shoulders and snapped his fingers, causing a collar much like one a cat might wear to appear around the somewhat terrified-seeming human's neck. A bright green gem hung from the collar, glinting in the light briefly as the pale man clapped happily. "Now, don't let that break, it's important to your survival. And don't look so upset! It won't be that bad~. Well...I haven't had a bound assistant-slash-forced summon in a while, but I assure you that your soul is perfectly safe! Feel free to run along now; you'll know when I need you~." Turning back to the others, the pale man gave them a reassuring smile.

"Oh, yes. Two more things."
Suddenly, as if the thought had only just come to him, Lucifer turned back to the man he had just collared. "That doesn't really come off, you see. Sorry about that. Also, you can't say anything about how you got this. Safety first and all~!" He waved cheerfully to the man as soon as he finished speaking, as if nothing had happened at all.

"He was nice, wasn't he?"

Zack could see the room beyond. It was a pool. The water shimmered in the moonlight. Sky lights he thought. He couldn't beyond the water. It was echoy in him. He felt alone the walk for a switch. "I'm going to try to turn on the light. All I smell now is the pool."

Mocha nodded. "Alright. Just be careful." Turning toward the poo herself, the rabbit-eared girl wrinkled her nose a bit; even she could smell the pool water pretty strongly. What was with that stuff that people kept putting in them? She understood that it was supposed to keep it clean, but still...

At least the moonlight made it look pretty.

While Zack started searching for a way to turn on the lights, Mocha started walking a ways around the side of the pool, moving her candle to see different parts of the area as best as possible with the little bit of light. She stopped for a second and backed up when she noticed a puddle that she had stepped in. "Ah...did some of the pool water splash up here? Was someone in here recently?" Bending down a bit, she moved her candle in an attempt to get a closer look at the fluid.

After almost a minute of indecision, Kyo eventually went back to the gym. He really hoped that the others weren't lost already; that would be a terrible way for the morning to go.

As he approached the room he had just left, the bell on his wrist chimed a bit. He had long since gotten used to hearing the noise as he moved, so he didn't notice it much.

I am very intimidated by this new CS. It's perfect!
I really hope this gets accepted, the character sounds like they're going to be fun to see in action here.

I see. So, then, where do we go from here? Or do we go anywhere?

I think we just lost sight of what we were supposed to be doing is all. I'm pretty sure we had an objective of "get to the top and find the control room" going for a while, but then we got distracted.

Maybe we just need to keep a couple of checkpoints in mind for something like this. Something like:
>Meet up with the others
>Find a map
>Find the stairs or another means of ascension
>Get to the top
>Meet up with WEB, obtain information
>Discuss actions from there

...or something like that. The open map system is a bit tricky as well, but maybe we could assign floors to different players to map out. Or when someone enters a room, the first person in is completely in control of the room and therefore responsible for description or something like that. I don't know, maybe I'm overcomplicating things. There are probably several flaws with my assessment.

Bella finished the obstacle course but then everyone started gathering around her and asking for her autograph because she looked so cool and she blushed because it made her embarrassed. All the boys got so excited that they started asking her out and some of the girls too. But Bella was shy because they were all fighting over her and she ran away to go hide so she wouldn't get kidnapped. She hid outside in the courtyard garden that the school had and spent the rest of the period looking at the flowers because she had finished the course so quickly. She liked the flowers because they were pretty and she liked cute things that's why she dressed in cute clothes. "The people in there are kind of scary. I'm glad that flowers don't try to kidnap me."

Demon Within (REbooting)

Something in common? That made enough sense. He could kind of see why the demon inside his head would have taken up residence there should Katherin's response be correct. He wondered briefly if she already could tell that. It wasn't exactly something he would actively keep from anyone, but as a habit, he didn't often bring up things about himself that were not directly asked about. Does that still make it a secret? I guess if it's unknown, then yes... He didn't spend too much time wondering about it, as he quickly decided that maybe the knowledge of his childhood issue was probably already known either way. Now he just wondered if she would ever let him know that she knew.

In a way, this seemed convenient. There was less need for him to speak if she already knew so much about what was going on with him. He just hoped none of it was particularly disturbing in any way.
