Bio

Hello! Nice to see you, eh?

I'm Yami, a college student and sometimes decent artist heavily influenced by anime/manga styles. Um...I'm not that interesting, really. I do some cosplay stuff and can get really into anything that interests me enough, but that's about it.

I might be in a bit of a slump right now, actually. I'm looking for something really fascinating to pique my interest once again, help me get back into the swing of things. I'm into crazy fantasy situations, especially.

No worries, everyone needs a chance to rant sometimes. I don't even have an excuse, I just can't think of what to write just yet.

The boy looked back behind him, seeming a bit confused before shaking his head slightly and turning back to the girl. Whatever he had thought was there turned out to be of little importance, and he honestly was pretty sure that it must have been a trick of his power after all. Holding out his hand with the palm facing him, he pretended to write on it in the hopes that she might know where to get some paper and something to write with. It only occurred to him a moment later that this was probably one of the new arrivals, though, and that she probably didn't know where anything was yet.

Looking around, he eventually saw one of the windows and exhaled a small puff of air onto the glass, trying to write on it quickly before the small patch of fog cleared.

Kyo. Needed break. Lost?

The demon stared quietly in awe as the hero gave her prediction, staying completely silent even for a few seconds after she finished. "You can really see all that? That's incredible! It's like what some of the seers here do when..." He stopped for a moment, blinking a bit in surprise as he thought about the similarities. "Wait, Wrenna...wasn't that some form of advanced magic? Do humans use blood divination rituals as well? But you didn't even draw the blood to do it..." He pulled back his hand to examine it again, almost as if he needed to confirm that it was so. "I can't believe it! That's rare even for powerful demons to learn! And nobody can just read it without extracting it through the lines first, either. At least, not that I've ever known."

Soreth traced the lines on his hand as he continued thinking about it. "And, is it all true, then? I'm actually going to...I actually can become a good ruler, then. I'm glad." His voice became quieter, a slightly disbelieving, but content smile on his face. "All of that's actually even more than I had hoped for. I've always been worried about it, but I guess there was no need after all, was there?"

After another moment of reflection, he looked back up again. "If you can do something like that, then maybe we could have you here as part of the investigation into the ancient magicks or something. Or you could be a magic adviser! Things like that are always needed, especially for crafting new spells. I think I can probably set it up, as long as we find the proper way to introduce you."
Hmm?
Sorry, it's still kind of a short post. I'll keep working on some longer ones next time, though.
Aiace could have actually shouted for joy when the boring class finally ended, had he not been about ready to just pass out again. How could anyone manage to make any subject sound so torturous? He had actually gone into the class kind of excited, too, hoping to actually learn something he could use. Instead, the only useful thing he seemed to be learning was that it was, indeed, possible to die of boredom and that it was even more possible for a tone of voice to actually be a murder weapon. That light he saw when he woke up about twenty-five minutes ago probably wasn't actually a reflective surface sticking out of someone's bag and shining the light in the room into his face, but the gate to the afterlife...

The tired thoughts flying about rather dramatically in his head were pushed back as he noticed the cluster of students trying to save themselves by exiting as swiftly as possible. Honestly, Aiace had the same idea, but it seemed that he was a bit slow to act upon it. I'd rather not push my way through...I'm still too drained... Sighing, he slung his bag over his shoulder and stayed leaning against the wall while he waited for the space to clear a little. Next time, I'll sit closer to the door...But I guess I can finish coming up with the recipes for the week for the time being.

Pulling his bag off his shoulder again, the bespectacled boy began to search for the notebook he had been writing his recipe plans in when he noticed the girl who just walked through the crowd of students as if they hardly even existed. That girl was pretty well-known, wasn't she? Top of the class in every way...at least, that's what he thought he remembered. It was pretty hard to forget someone who never seemed to have so much as an eyelash out of line, though. Of course, he didn't know her personally, he just saw her every Tuesday and Thursday in this class, a model student as always. How she remained immune to the toxic teaching skills of Professor Glemin was beyond him, but he doubted that he could actually get the answer himself.

Still, that would be quite a useful thing to know...
"Hmm? That is kinda interesting...can you show me any of it?" The demon king leaned over in his seat slightly, eyes shining a bit in wonder. "I don't think I have a tarot deck we can use...but can you read my palm? It'd be amazing if you could actually see something there. That's a pretty odd power for someone to have! You said that you found someone just living in your town that could do this?" The thought was actually pretty exciting to him, and he didn't hesitate to offer an open palm for Wrenna's inspection. "What exactly do you do to read someone's palm, anyway? And what would you normally find there?"
Sorry I'm late! I can't believe I didn't reply sooner!

I'm questioning whether now is a good time to reintroduce Kido. Should I wait for a few more active people to show up?

"Hmm...is that so...?" Devon deflated a bit at the thought of being unable to convince the boy to lighten up, but bounced back quickly enough. "Maybe he just needs help relaxing, then! If he can have some fun without running into any trouble for a while, maybe he'll lighten up a bit and see there's nothing to fear. Besides, there are elders here, they can take care of things for a bit. And there's nothing wrong with letting loose once in a while!"

Finishing preparations for the day, the excited teen started out the door. "Come on! Let's go drag your brother into some fun today!"

Felice pondered for a moment as he entered the room and heard the instructions exactly what the elder god's definition of "training" would be. He made up his mind quickly to sit in the back regardless, however, when he saw who was already sitting in the front. Non manco morto! Semantics be burned in the elder's own fire, I'd rather risk whatever the forge god does to me!

Mind made up, he set down his bag somewhere safe and moved quickly to the back. It wasn't as if he had no experience, after all. There was plenty he'd had to deal with even in the streets he had walked when he was younger. The ancient world capital had its own surprises, truly.
