Hot Rod

Ryker had his hands gripped tightly on the steering wheel of his race car as he made the vehicle make a turn to pull ahead of the third place car. Even though he was intent on winning, his mind was more focused on finishing the race as quickly as possible since today was when the League of Heroes were gathering together for the first time and he was late. He cursed at the bad luck of having a race on the same day as the meeting, but that was life and now he was determined to finish the race before he became amazingly late. He maneuvered his car around the second place racer, and then accelerated to try and catch up with the yellow race car that was in first place. His car was only a few feet away from becoming neck and neck with his opponent when the yellow car made a quick shift to the side which caused Ryker to slow down his car

"Son of a Bit**!" he shouted and put his foot on the gas petal all the way when he found an opening to pass his opponent. His car shot by the yellow race car and took the lead. He focused on being as fast as possible to finish the race. Soon the final lap came and Ryker was glad that the race would be done with. As usual, he won the race but this time he didn't stick around to talk to any of the reporters and he ran for the changing rooms to put on his costume. Once he changed, Ryker took off at supersonic speeds, flying towards the hall of heroes. Luckily, his race had been in the county of Illinois and so it wasn't too far of a flight from the track, especially when he was flying as fast as an FA-18 fighter jet. His body was emitted the roaring of the jet aircraft and his lower torso released a jet stream behind him as his body produced the thrust that made him fly at such fast speeds.

He soon came to the city and slowed down his flight speed to below the speed of sound, not wanting to waste energy. In less than a minute, he saw the Hall of Heroes come into view. He landed on the steps near the front entrance and went inside, expecting to see the place filled with costumed heroes. To his surprise, he didn't see anyone and he wondered if the meeting was over. He was late but he didn't think he was that late, it would really suck to miss out on the first meeting of the League when he was invited and it wouldn't look good if the press had come and his face wasn't in the news. He quickly dashed around at high speeds, trying to see if they were in another part of the building and called out, "Hello? are there any heroes in the house? Because the Glorious Hot Rod is here and he is ready to save the day!"

He hoped that someone answered him so that they could tell him what was going on and where the everybody was.

I said previously that I don't acknowledge GT nor defend it, much like Buu saga. I find both terrible. If you're going to argue about something stupid in Buu saga, you can do it and I won't defend it, but anything else I'll argue.

okay, well I actually liked the Buu saga because I thought Majin Buu was interesting and the fusion idea was cool. Gotanks made that saga good for me.

I don't defend Buu saga, so if you're going after DBZ in that period, fair game.

are you referring to GT? I am only speaking of DBZ, I like to be fair and just stick to one series when criticizing Dragon Ball.

Except they were gathered together intentionally by Frieza before he realized he needed a password and he wiped out all but three Namekians on the planet, and the dragon being more powerful made sense because that was the original set of dragonballs and the ones on earth are just derived and thus weren't meant to be more powerful.:I

still the fact that they are there just when the Z warriors need them to defeat Buu seems way too convenient to make an excuse.

Well, according to Wikipedia article, One-Above-All, is only a creator god (yes, ), and his power is only hinted at. It does say he is the leader of the which is said to have "almost limitless" power, but against Spirial Energy, that kind of weakness won't cut it. Anti-Monitor at least appears to be on the same scale as Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, but he, too, has a weakness that would render him utterly defeated. article says, "When his armor is destroyed by Supergirl, his form appears not dissimilar to that of the Monitor, but unstable, and surrounded by a coruscating aura of radiant energy - his life force, leaking out like water from a failing vessel, explaining the need for the armor." Not the best kind of character to fight a drill specialist. So, it seems like the most powerful beings of both the Marvel and DC universe lose to anime.

no way, The one above all is the ruler of the entire omniverse so he can do anything and wish Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann out of existence. seriously One Above All is God and has no weaknesses and is limitless, if Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann can be defeated then he losses otherwise its a stand still for the rest eternity. ether way he can't beat this greedy bastard

no one beats Larfleeze!

That's... Convenient for him...

just the same as the Namekian dragon balls being all together when they needed it and the dragon being more powerful. it's fiction, it's all for fun. Superman is my favorite hero along side Flash, Green Lantern and Aquaman

I don't really care to know a guy that has an answer to almost everything in the world that could happen, and his only weakness is a green space rock :I throw in 'magic' too if you want but his pros outweigh the cons too much. I like my heroes with some form of mortality personally.

he doesn't always have the answers, the quote in my signature is from an animated movie called Superman vs The Elite, and in that film people question whether or not Superman's method of not killing is the right way and even he at one questions if the world has moved on and he has gotten old. it's a great movie and asks the question of whether or not killing criminals is necessary and should heroes get involved with killing political leaders because of their militaristic actions.

He died against Doomsday and came back somehow without any explanation.

you didn't read the return of superman story did you? he wasn't technically killed, he was put into a coma that made it look like he was killed but it did take away his powers for a while.

I always laugh at the superman vs Goku argument. So small and insignificant in scale... The Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann could probably pwn all other superheroes and villains combined. Unless there is another thing that I'm unaware of that is quite literally bigger than the universe.

not the One Above All and Anti Monitor. the one above all is God and Anti monitor is a multileverse buster so he could pwn him easy. nothing beat comic books, superheroes rule! lol

Would you mind normal Allied characters? Kind of for support roles and stuff ^.^ They say courage is a heroic feat, after all.

sure, since this is a superhero rp that doesn't have insanely powerful heroes, non powered heroes could still hold their own with the right equipment. But the villains will be tough and the head Nazi metahuman will be very powerful.
