I'm sorry... I can't keep going like this. I need solidity. Figure out what you want and why... and then talk to me. I will always love you. And yes. even she knows that.

I'm not asking you to forgive me. I'll never understand or forgive myself. And if I die, so help me, I'll laugh at myself for being an idiot. There's one thing I do know and that is that I love you.

Name:
Yukiko (Meaning 'a thousand generations') Masuyo (Meaning 'Benefit the world')

Age:
17

Alias:
Shakita or Kita

Appearance:

costume:

Abilities:

Matter Manipulation
Yukiko, having just stumbled upon her power as she traveled to the United States from Japan, can manipulate matter. Currently she has only used this power once with turning a glass of water into nothing but an empty cup of air, as the hydrogen and one of the oxygen molecules were removed (scientifically speaking), but as she comes to understand her powers more (learning more about chemistry could definitely help), anything in the universe that has substance and mass/physical form can be manipulated into whatever it is she can understand and imagine. Of course, these abilities are limited by her knowledge, amount of concentration and mental strength.

Skills:
Yukiko was trained ever since she was able to walk in the art of stealth as well as how to wield blades of all types. As she got older, her more prominent skills were discovered and her training focused mainly on her acrobatics, small blade use, throwing ability (like throwing stars and other small, sharp objects) and stealth (along with that, flexibility from being forced to learn to navigate small areas). Amongst these, Yukiko has been trained in hand-to-hand combat and though not as skilled with it as she is with her other skills, she is able to hold her own against any normal fighter though her small stature almost forces her to keep unnoticed and ranged.

On top of that, Yukiko is fluent in three different languages: Japanese, as is her native tongue, as well as Mandarin and Russian. Her knowledge of other languages is very small, and English, perhaps, is her worst one.

Personality Traits:
Yukiko hardly speaks to anyone save for Logan. This doesn't just have to do with the fact that she doesn't understand a word of English, but she has always been quiet by nature, raised into knowing where her place is and will only speak up when she feels compelled to speak her mind.

Once you get to know her, however, Yukiko's other traits come out in her, revealing her to be firm in opinion, stubborn in her ways and prefers to do things on her own rather than in groups, having a hard time following anyone she does not deem worthy as a leader. She's a very independent spirit and exceptionally respectful towards those who have earned it as well as loyal to her culture and country. On the rare occasion when she feels completely relaxed and able to be herself, Yukiko is known to be a bit on the sassy side, but does indeed have a sense of humor hidden somewhere deep down.

Backstory:
From the very day that Yukiko was conceived, her fate was already written in stone. Youngest and only girl of six in the Masuyo family, Yukiko was brought up and raised in a family controlled by the Yakuza, a group of transnational organized crime syndicates in Japan. From the moment Yukiko started walking, training had begun, honing the small girl into a lethal weapon for the Yukuza’s own personal use. At first her missions consisted of small group missions with her older brothers as ‘debt collectors’, a little intimidation here and there; maybe someone lost a finger or two or a couple broken bones; but as the years went on her missions became more physical, daunting and brutal.

Strange enough as things were (though now considered normal to Yukiko) an American had moved in with Yukiko and her family. He was a friend of her father's, as she learned, and over the time that Logan spent with them, Yukiko and he formed a very close bond, perhaps a bond closer than she had with any of her family.

Yukiko first started questioning her family’s line of work when she was just thirteen years old and two of her brother’s had nearly exposed themselves in a mission they were working on together, and as penance they each had to remove the tip of their left little finger as was a customary ritual known as Yubitsume. As Yukiko sat there and watched her brothers disfigure themselves, her doubts began to climb and she made an effort to tread more carefully from then on. She always knew that failure would result in severe punishment, she just wasn't sure if she was able to accept just how the Yakuza went about it.

Three years later when Yukiko was sixteen, she had lost three out of the five of her brothers to the Yakuza whether it be by their own personal hand as punishment, or by getting killed serving them. Logan had also mysteriously vanished from their home, and Yukiko could only assume that he too was dead. It was during this time that Yukiko thought about wanting to escape the clutches of the Yakuza forever. The last act Yukiko ever did in Japan for the Yakuza happened on a cold November night. Suspicion of Yukiko's loyalty began to spread around the organization, and she was brought before one of the leaders of the Yakuza, Zurui. The room in which she was pulled into had about twenty or so other Yakuza members standing by for protection reasons, and in the center of the room was what looked like an ordinary man tied up to a wooden chair with a bag over his head.

Zurui assured Yukiko that the man hidden under the bag deserved his punishment, as he was found trying to profit for what it was that they did. Zurui handed Yukiko the sacrificial katana and she knew immediately that if she didn't do what she was told, she would surely die; but she had never taken a life before and was unsure if she could do so now. Her harsh upbringing however led Yukiko to take the katana from Zurui and the man was quickly untied from the chair and pushed before the sacrificial block. She had seen these sacrifices before, she grew up her whole life watching heads roll on the floor from the clean swipe of the katana. It was considered an honor to be the one to wield the blade, however Yukiko wanted no part in it. Despite being desensitized to blood and gore, the thought of taking one's life, despite what he may have done, did not set well with her.

Forcefully, Yukiko raised the katana, and with one clean swipe had beheaded the criminal; her first kill. But what surprised her even more then the rush of taking the life of another was when the bag hit the floor, the head of her very own father rolled out… the Yakuza had tricked her into killing her own father. Somehow managing to keep a brave face, Zurui informed the sixteen year old that Yukiko’s father had been suspected of working for some unknown organizations in America who aimed to take down the Yakuza and of course, must be stopped. Zurui then praised Yukiko for her lack of emotion during the 'test' and was promoted to a Yakuza assassin. As she left the room that day, she was warned that if she ever disobeyed, then what was left of her family would surely die in the most unpleasant way possible. She continued to do the bidding of the Yakuza for another year before Yukiko finally spotted her chance of getting out. An air raid.

People were being evacuated left and right; women and children being the first priority. Being mistaken as a 'normal' child, Yukiko was rounded up with some others her age and was immediately shipped off to one of their allied countries for safety. But Yukiko didn’t stop there. If her father had connections in America that aimed to stop the Yakuza, she knew then that it was America that she needed to be.

Name: Logan Howlette

Age: 66, looks 25

Alias: Wolverine

Appearance:

Costume

Abilities:
His primary mutant power is an accelerated healing process, typically referred to as his mutant healing factor, that regenerates damaged or destroyed tissues of his body far beyond the capabilities of an ordinary human. In addition to accelerated healing of physical traumas, Logan's healing factor makes him extraordinarily resistant to diseases, drugs, and toxins. However, he can still suffer the immediate effects of such substances in massive quantities; he has been shown to become intoxicated after significant amounts of alcohol, and has been incapacitated on several occasions with large amounts of powerful drugs and poisons.

While the adamantium in his body stops or reduces many injuries, his healing factor must also work constantly to prevent metal poisoning from killing him, though it is effectively getting worse.

His healing factor also dramatically affects his aging process, allowing him to live far beyond the normal lifespan of a human. Despite being born in the late 19th century, he has the appearance, conditioning, health, and vitality of a man in his physical prime. While seemingly ageless, it is unknown exactly how greatly his healing factor extends his life expectancy.

Although his body heals, the healing factor does not suppress the pain he endures while injured. Logan also admits to feeling phantom pains for weeks or months after healing from his injuries. He does not enjoy being hurt and sometimes has to work himself up for situations where extreme pain is certain. Logan, on occasion, has deliberately injured himself or allowed himself to be injured for varying reasons, including freeing himself from capture, intimidation, strategy or simply indulging his feral nature. His healing abilities can provide increased recovery from psychological trauma by suppressing memories in which he experiences profound distress. Scratches heal within seconds, burns and cuts a few seconds more. Even bullet holes only take a matter of minutes to heal up completely, and all without a single scar to show for the pain he had been put through on a number of occasions.

Logan's mutation also consists of animal-like adaptations of his body, including pronounced, and sharp fang-like canines and three retractable claws housed within each forearm. These claws are a natural part of his body and are not made of keratin, as claws tend to be in the animal kingdom, but extremely dense bone. Logan's hands do not have openings for the claws to move through: they cut through his flesh every time he extrudes them, feeling a brief moment of slight pain in his hands whenever he unsheathes them.

Logan's senses of sight, smell, and hearing are all superhumanly acute. He can see with perfect clarity at greater distances than an ordinary human, even in near-total darkness. His hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, allowing him to both hear sounds ordinary humans cannot and also hear to greater distances. Logan is able to use his sense of smell to track targets by scent, even if the scent has been eroded somewhat over time by natural factors. This sense also allows him to identify shapeshifting mutants despite other forms they may take. He is also able to use his senses of smell and hearing, through concentration, as a type of natural lie detector, such as detecting a faint change in a person's heartbeat and scent due to perspiration when a lie is told.

Due to his skeletal coating, his claws can cut almost any known solid material, including most metals, wood, and some varieties of stone. The only known exceptions are adamantium itself and Captain America's shield, which is made out of an proto-adamantium-vibranium alloy. Wolverine's ability to slice completely through a substance depends upon both the amount of force he can exert and the thickness of the substance. His claws can also be used to block attacks or projectiles, as well as dig into surfaces allowing Wolverine to climb structures. The adamantium also weights his blows, increasing the effectiveness of his offensive capabilities. Unfortunately, his adamantium skeleton makes him highly susceptible to magnetic-based attacks.

Logan's healing factor also affects a number of his physical attributes by increasing them to superhuman levels. His stamina is sufficiently heightened to the point he can exert himself for numerous hours, even after exposure to powerful tranquilizers. Logan's agility and reflexes are also enhanced to levels that are beyond the physical limits of the finest human athlete. Due to his healing factor's constant regenerative qualities, he can push his muscles beyond the limits of the human body without injury. This, coupled by the constant demand placed on his muscles by over one hundred pounds of adamantium, grants him some degree of superhuman strength. Since the presence of the adamantium negates the natural structural limits of his bones, he can lift or move weight that would otherwise damage a human skeleton. He has been known to break steel chains, lift several men above his head with one arm and throw them through a wall and hauling a concert grand piano, which can weigh as much as 1,300 pounds, and the platform it rests on, via a harness, while climbing a sheer cliff.

Skills
During his time in Japan and other countries, Wolverine becomes a master of virtually all forms of martial arts and is experienced in virtually every fighting style on Earth. He is proficient with most weaponry, including firearms, though he is partial to bladed weapons. He has demonstrated sufficient skills to defeat the likes of Shang-Chi and Captain America in single combat. He also has a wide knowledge of the body and pressure points. He is also an accomplished pilot and highly skilled in the field of espionage and covert operations.

He is fluent in English, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, Cheyenne, Spanish, Arabic, and Lakota; he also has some knowledge of French, Filipino, Thai, Vietnamese, German, Italian, Portuguese, Korean, Hindi, and Persian. When Forge monitors Wolverine's vitals during a Danger Room training session, he calls Logan's physical and mental state "equivalent of an Olympic-level gymnast performing a gold medal routine while simultaneously beating four chess computers in his head."

Personality Traits
Logan will sometimes lapse into a "berserker rage" while in close combat. In this state he lashes out with the intensity and aggression of an enraged animal and is even more resistant to psionic attack. Though he loathes it, he acknowledges that it has saved his life many times, it being most notably useful when he faces those with telepathic abilities, liking to keep his own thoughts to himself. Despite his apparent ease at taking lives, he does not enjoy killing or giving in to his berserker rages. Logan adheres to a firm code of personal honor and morality.

In contrast to his brutish nature, Wolverine is extremely knowledgeable. Due to his increased lifespan, he has traveled around the world and amassed extensive knowledge of foreign languages and cultures. Much to Professor Xavier's disapproval, Wolverine is also a heavy drinker and smoker; his healing powers negate the long-term effects of alcohol and tobacco and allow him to indulge in prolonged binges.

Logan is frequently depicted as a gruff loner, often taking leave from the X-Men to deal with personal issues or problems. He is often irreverent and rebellious towards authority figures, though he is a reliable ally and capable leader. He has been a mentor and father figure to several younger women, especially Yukiko, and has had romantic relationships with numerous women, though somehow always seeming to be 'in between girlfriends.'

Position in School:
Protector and Simulation Classes Instructor

Backstory:
Born in 1880 in a small town in Canada as James Howlette to rich farmers, Logan led a very comfortable life for the majority of his childhood. Then, one day, out of anger from being fired, Thomas Logan the previous groundskeeper, came to the farm and killed James' father. Furious, bone claws emerged from James' hands for the first time in his life and with an uncontrollable rage, killed Thomas by plunging his claws into Thomas' chest who upon dying, told James the truth that he was his real father. With the secret now brought to the front, James was cast out by his mother who James' learned a few years later when he came back, killed herself out of grief. He ran away with his childhood friend, Rose, and steadily grew into a man by taking up a job in a mining colony in the Yukon Territory, taking the name 'Logan' in honor of his real father.

After a slight incident that involved killing Rose with his claws, Logan once again was forced into running and for a couple of years lived with the wolves until returning to civilization, taking up residency with the Blackfoot Indians. It was here that he fell in love with an Indian woman, Silver Fox who died at the hands of Sabretooth who Logan then found out to be his older brother, Victor, whom he had never known. To escape his inner pain, Logan enlisted himself for World War 1, proving to be quite the combatant for reasons unknown, and unquestioned by his country. After the war, Logan spent some time in Japan where he became somewhat of an idol for the Yakuza, though working under-cover to help those who had been imprisoned by them. It was here that Logan met a good number of families forced into the Yakuza's bidding, namely the Masuyo family whom he lived with for a number of years and became a sort of brother figure to the youngest and only female, Yukiko.

However, after a handful of years World War 2 came around, and silently as though not to alarm the Yakuza, Logan left to help out where he could, serving no side but his own in what he felt was right in his heart. When it was over he resided in the United States where he was later approached by some men who pho promised to help him become a better mutant. Trusting these men, not having any reason not to, Logan went with them only to have his entire bone-structure remade out of adamantium, a metal that is virtually indestructible.

After learning that these men only wanted to use him as a weapon and to wipe his memory, Logan escaped, though not without massive bloodshed on his part. Once more alone, it was then that Charles Xavier found him, implying that he had a job for him and after a good amount of work done on him by Xavier, Logan grew to trust him and agreed to help with his cause. Logan hasn't been back to Japan since, but has kept secret ties with a couple of families, hoping to bring them over to the United States where they could be free of the Yakuza.

I am very open to new and different ideas and I am known for working with others to achieve something both they and I can be happy with. So if you are patient and don't have any problems receiving constructive feedback, personal opinions and are willing to change and edit as well as argue your points in a non-annoying, convincing way, then I am okay with that.
A very good question. Ideally I would prefer if the characters be limited to that of a younger age simply because it is slowly becoming a known fact during this time that the mutant gene is brought out though puberty, more or less. Not only this, but if a character were to have had their abilities for a good number of years now, their chances of getting caught and killed or imprisoned are much more likely. This can be side-stepped, however, if you give me a convincing story as to this 'older' character having just come by their powers recently, triggered by something other than just growing up.
Yes, there will be an ultimate 'threat' for our characters, though what that threat (or villain) is I will keep that to myself for the time being, but it will be revealed slowly as the roleplay goes on. If you are interested in Erik, please PM me and we can discuss what I had in mind for him. Glad to see that I already have some interest (all that information was not easy lol it took me quite a bit of time and LOTS of research, but hey, I'm a history buff).
Questions

Q:Will there be any other kind of ultimate enemy that we'll be facing, or will it just be essentially a mutants slice of life in the 40s kind of thing?
A:Yes, there will be an ultimate 'threat' for our characters, though what that threat (or villain) is I will keep that to myself for the time being, but it will be revealed slowly as the roleplay goes on.

Q:Do you have an age range for the characters?
A: Ideally I would prefer if the characters be limited to that of a younger age simply because it is slowly becoming a known fact during this time that the mutant gene is brought out though puberty, more or less. Not only this, but if a character were to have had their abilities for a good number of years now, their chances of getting caught and killed or imprisoned are much more likely. This can be side-stepped, however, if you give me a convincing story as to this 'older' character having just come by their powers recently, triggered by something other than just growing up.

Setting
This is a slightly alternate take on the movie X-Men: First Class. The basic idea applies, that Charles uses his mutant powers to locate different mutants and gather them together so that they can be taught and trained and no longer be alone, however there are some differences that I would like to address.

First off, the mob and the dirty, grimy crime syndicate of America during that time will vastly come into play. Ergo, this will be a much more adult adaptation of the X-Men world.

Secondly, Charles will not be opening up his home for the kids to live in and learn by. Instead, there will be an underground bunker that hadn't been used from the war that will be their 'main base of operation.' The 'school' will effectively work the same way, however, but there are only three teachers (at this time) and most of their studies focus on helping the 'students' to learn how to control their power in light of math, reading and writing. This will change, however, as time goes on.

Thirdly, I'm adding Logan into the mix of things and having him play a larger role than he did in the movies. He will be up there in superiority with Charles and Erik and will help to run the school but as I will be playing him as a main character, he will be the one 'more available' than Erik and Charles unless someone wishes to take one of them over as their character or secondary (you will need to convince me that you will be able to play them convincingly and along the basic structure of which I have already established for their CS. Erik and Charles' CS will be up for review once this gets moved over to the main roleplay once enough involvement is recruited but I am willing to PM it to you if you have such an interest).

The year is 1946. The second World War has just ended. The Nazis have been defeated and everything is finally starting to get back to normal, or as normal as an entire world can get after the most emotional war in history, recovering from a conflict that would go on to shake minds for nigh-on centuries.

Henry Truman is the current President Of The United States Of America, argued to be the greatest country in the world now during this trying time. Even through the crisis, it is still (and even more so now) known as The Land of Opportunity, The Land of the Free and Home of the Brave. New York City, The Big Apple is where the eyes of the world are. The United States was really starting to turn things around for themselves.

America is now a place of prosperity and happiness, where everyone enjoys their time, where a man can carve his name into history. It's the greatest time yet to be alive... granted of course you have no problem with the drug-trading, human trafficking, murdering and kidnapping, The Mob having their finger up everyone's backside and oh, the Chinese slicing up people. Not to mention the xenophobic, racist and homophobic nature of the city, the whole world, in fact. But in hindsight, America was doing better than most countries.

This is where our story takes place. It starts with the name of a single scientist, none the less. Charles Maximilian Xavier. The 28 year old genius is a man who's found proof of a brand new species living amongst us... and he is one of them. They are Homo Sapiens Superior- in Layman's terms, Mutants; people with extraordinary gifts and very few of them have made it through puberty already. Maybe it's because of the nuclear testing around the globe. Maybe it's something in the milk. Hell, maybe it's the coke everyone and their nan has been snorting. Not even Charles knows, but what he does know is that their gifts are to be used, not abused. His wish is to help every single one of his kind to a better life, a life with more control over their abilities, a life where retribution, segregation and judgement was no longer a concern. It is this, most importantly, that Charles wants... acceptance in the eyes of the genreal public who, for the most part, are currently unaware of their existence.

Not everyone can be Captain America.

What you need to know
The 1940's were dominated by World War II. European artists and intellectuals fled to the United States from Hitler and the Holocaust, bringing new ideas created in disillusionment. War production brought America out from the Great Depression. Women and blacks were needed to replace men who had gone off to war, and so the first great exodus of women from the home to the workplace began. Rationing affected the food eaten, the clothes worn, the toys with which children played with and so on... without a doubt your character has been affected one way or another (harshly) by the war.

After the war, however, the men returned and the women and blacks had to give up their jobs back to the men, but now having that taste of independence. No longer was the family farm an ideal; no longer would blacks accept lesser status. The GI Bill was now allowing more men than ever to get a college education.

Penicillin was just introduced successfully, revolutionizing medicine and curing what had previously been death sentences for thousands upon thousands.

The government reclassified 55% of their jobs, allowing women and blacks to fill them. First, single women were actively recruited to the workforce. In 1943, with virtually all the single women employed, married women were then allowed to work. This courtesy was not extended to foreigners brought over by the war, however. Japanese immigrants and their descendants, suspected of loyalty to their homelands, were sent to internment camps as the government didn't know what else to do with them. It is no secret that America had very big trust issues when it came to Germans and the Japanese.

Scrap drives were very common for the war effort and the production of cars stopped completely.

Franklin Roosevelt was president until 1945 when he died and Harry Truman took over to finish out the war.

Japan finally surrendered in 1945 after Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the United States came out the victor, though was challenged by the USSR. While the USSR subjugated the defeated countries, the US implemented the Marshall Plan, helping war-torn countries to rebuild and rejoin the world economy. However, disputes over ideology and control led to the Cold War. Communism was treated as a contagious disease and anyone who had contact with it was under suspicion and more than likely killed or imprisoned.

Television made its debut at the 1939 World Fair, but the war interrupted further development. In 1947, commercial television with 13 stations became available to the public. Computers were developed during the early forties. The digital computer, named ENIAC, weighing 30 tons and standing two stories high was completed in 1945.

Music
You were 'cool' if you listened to Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, Glenn Miller, and Django Reinhardt (Jazz music)

Dating
Dating was 'absolutely essential' back then because life expectancy was low so there was that feeling of 'get married now or die alone.' Birth control options were limited and divorce just never happened.

If there was a single, healthy, young, American man, you can bet he was shipped overseas after Pearl Harbor, as conscription was very powerful during the time. Thanks to the war, the average life expectancy for a man was only 60 years, while a woman’s was over 68.

There were two types of single men left in the early 40s — those who wanted to sleep around because they knew they could die tomorrow, and the ones who wanted to land the love of their life, because they wanted something to have faith in if they died tomorrow.

It was always expected that a man pay for dinner.

In the 1940s, it was common for young people in their late teens to go out with a different person each weekend. The more dates someone had lined up, the more they displayed their popularity. Boys were obligated to ask the girls out, and sometimes they had to schedule a date weeks in advance. By the time a woman was ready to settle down, she would have gone on many dates and even had experienced “going steady” with a fellow or two. Of course, girls who smoked or had sex were considered easy and snubbed by the neighborhood. Thankfully, Hollywood took up smoking in the mid-40s and suddenly cigarettes became more acceptable and even sex but there are still those out there that will turn up their nose to the change.

Clothes
Wartime rationing left little time for fashionable whims or embellishments. Both men and women re-wore leftover outfits from the 1930s, re-tailoring clothes to hike up hemlines. Women slimmed down old men’s coats and slacks, wearing pants in the factories to guard their legs against machines. Girdles were ditched for T-shirts. The bikini was first introduced in 1946.

Entertainment
Liquor, like all good things, was rationed during the war, but thanks to Roosevelt’s open trade policy with Latin America, rum was plentiful and popular. The rum daiquiri was a hit, simply sweetened with lime juice and a teaspoon of sugar.

WWII affected nearly every aspect of American life, and film was no exception. Thrillers and dramas like Casablanca, Notorious, and The Great Dictator reigned in the theaters. Big band music dominated the early half of the decade, while Frank Sinatra and his crooning cohorts wooed newlyweds by the end of the 40s.

CS
Note: At this time, I WILL NOT be accepting any characters that have any physical abnormalities like Beast in the sense that their physical appearance isn't anything considered 'not normal.' With the current problems of racism, sexism, religious and political differences playing a MAJOR role in the time period, that diversity is enough for now. However, as time moves on, I may be convinced to have a character or two under-go a 'freak accident' that later alters their physical appearance, but you must convince me hard.

That being said, I am accepting both Canon and Original Characters at this time. Essentially, I would PREFER if the only Canon characters are Logan, Erik and Charles (Erik and Charles are up for grabs by the way should anyone want them. I have a basic plan for Erik that I will be discussing with you should you want to take him over from me, but Charles is pretty straight-forward) but I won't turn anyone down if they truly wish to play a slightly altered (original) version of someone like Cyclops or Storm (etc...)

For now, I am limiting everyone to 2 characters. Once we have a good idea of our 'cast' and things start to move on with a good flow, I will open up the possibility for some people to take on more characters should they so wish (you must prove to me that you are able to handle more than the character[s] you already have at the time).

Also, I would like you to decide now on who it was that approached your character to begin with (Logan, Erik or Charles). Once you have made your choice, please PM me and we will work on a sort of flashback collab that will be posted when your character is posted. That way everyone knows where your character came from and how they came to be where they are now and who it was that 'found' them.

Rumplestiltskin - The Dark One

Name:
Rumplestiltskin, "The Dark One"

Appearance:

Age:
Unknown, seems to have been around forever (at least 300 years old)

Affiliation:
Neutral Evil

Status and Job:
The Dark One – Dark Sorcerer | Deal-making

Magic Capabilities:
There is very little that Rumplestiltskin can’t do, however he is unable to traveling in time. Being the best person to understand that magic always comes with a price, he has learned long ago the rules and restrictions of the art of magic. Whether it comes to spell casting, enchanting, cursing, or even potion making, he has done it all - his supply closet constantly full and always seeming to have just what he needs when striking a deal. There isn’t anything he can’t or won’t do to remain superior against other magic users.

Weapons:
Rumplestiltskin mainly uses his magic and sharp mind as a weapon, however he is known to use items such as daggers, swords and a bow and arrow from time to time and can be quite deadly with them.

Strengths:
Rumplestiltskin has the ability to outright make you squirm. He knows how to pull all the right strings to make his puppets dance; and since what he has to offer is always so much greater than what others have to offer him, he can keep the puppet show going on for years at a time. His patience is outmatched by no one, able to sit on a plan for centuries at a time before striking when it benefits him most. He's a phenomenal negotiator, always making sure that he comes out on top in some way, even if it's just the simple notion of taking something useless to him while downright precious to someone else. He also has an uncanny way of telling when he is being lied to, and often-times calls the liar out on it unless he can spin the lie to his advantage in some way.

His knowledge on most all things is unmatched by anyone he has ever come across in his lifetime, his use of magic and power seemingly unlimited of which he as the utmost control over. He is incredibly feared by most (if not all) people in some way, shape or form - notorious for his villainous acts which give him quite the reputation - most of which is the truth to some extent or maybe even worse.

Weaknesses:
Rumor has it that there is a magical artifact that can kill The Dark One. Rumplestiltskin is what a lot of people in The Enchanted Forest (and any other Kingdom or even realms) would call "unfriendly." He hasn't a true friend to his name despite what people might say about his relationship with The Evil Queen, and with that he is oftentimes seen alone when not making deals with people. He can oftentimes be very head-strong and come off as aggressive and intimidating, making him hard to approach. He also has a vulnerable soft spot in his heart for Belle, a woman who believes to be in love with him, and he with her, but his cowardice continues to push her away any time they become close. He is very quick to anger, having a very short temper, especially when someone brings up his past or his long lost son.

Brief Bio:
Very little is known about Rumplestiltskin himself, as the rumors about him seem to confuse the truth with each passing year. Even those that consider themselves close to the man don't know much of his past, nor do they particularly care as long as he gives them what they want.

Rumplestiltskin is a haunted man. Over three hundred years ago, he was an ordinary man. A poor spinner working hard to provide simply for his wife, Milah. He got his chance, however, when he was called to the front to fight in the Ogres War. However when faced with the harsh reality that he could die, and after being told by a Seer that he was to be a father, Rumplestiltskin injured himself so that he could go home. What he wants others to believe is that moment came from not wanting to leave a child fatherless, but deep down, Rumplestiltskin knows that it came from his own cowardice of not wanting to die - child or no.

When returning home, injured and branded a coward, Milah strayed from his side. Though still married to him, she indulged in other men until she met a pirate she was more than content with leaving Rumplestiltskin and eventually did - leaving Rumplestiltskin a single father. Determined more now than ever to protect his son, Rumplestiltskin had himself and Baelfire flee their home to avoid his son being drafted into the Ogres War. However he was stopped by the army, and forced to turn back. Though on his way back, Rumplestiltskin came across a hooded figure, promising him more power than he could ever imagine. All he had to do was kill him.

Rumplestiltskin was tricked into a curse, taking on the centuries-old role of The Dark One. Overnight, Rumplestiltskin became the most feared man in all the realms, being able to not only save his son, but ending the Ogres War and making himself and his son live in comfort. Baelfire, however, did not take very well to his father's transformation and wanted desperately for his father to rid himself of the curse. However, not able to, Baelfire called upon the Blue Fairy and she in turn gave him a magic bean that would take Baelfire and Rumplestiltskin to a land without magic where the curse could not follow him.

Terrified of losing his power, Rumplestiltskin let go of Baelfire at the last moment, abandoning his son to be sent through the portal to the land without magic on his own. The very second the portal closed, Rumplestiltskin regretted his decision, and has spent every day since planning on how to get himself there.

So... I think I need to bow out. Teal hasn't been on for almost a week and without Deathstroke my whole arc for Rose is screwed up. So... yeah. Good luck guys.
