I'm not asking you to forgive me. I'll never understand or forgive myself. And if I die, so help me, I'll laugh at myself for being an idiot. There's one thing I do know and that is that I love you.

Name:
Known almost exclusively as 'The Apprentice' or 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice'. His true name is currently unknown to all but himself, the Sorcerer, and possibly Rumpelstiltskin

Appearance:

Wardrobe Style:
Garbed much as a typical mage would, the Apprentice's typical outfit consists of long, layered robes of crimson red, accentuated by gold and supplemented with matching gloves. Underneath is a simple tunic and trousers with weathered brown shoes. His sword is kept sheathed at his hip and a modest satchel is slung over the opposite shoulder, containing various scrolls and parchments.

Height & Build:
Standing at 5'7" in height, the Apprentice possesses a modest, slight build, lacking much in the way of muscle and bulk. In spite of this, however, he gives off an air of power and knowledge that belies his almost sickly frame.

Age:
Physically appears to be in his early thirties. Is chronologically in his hundreds.

Affiliation:
Neutral Good

Status and Job:
Apprentice to an enigmatic and immensely powerful Sorcerer | Guardian of the Sorcerer's Hat

Magic Capabilities:
A masterful wielder of magic, trained by the Sorcerer himself, the Apprentice is regarded as being an incredibly powerful individual within The Enchanted Forest. Capable of extraordinary feats of magic, ranging from the most passive and mundane to large-scale and dangerous, the Apprentice is capable of dealing with nearly any threat to himself or his allies; though even he is unsure how a magic duel between himself and the Dark One would end.

The Apprentice is not a violent man, and thus favors stunning or immobilization spells over outright harmful or lethal ones when he can help it, though he is both capable and willing to use the latter if the situation calls for it.

When empowered by the Sorcerer, the Apprentice is not bound to the limitations Rumpelstiltskin is, and can open portals to different realms, most commonly being the Land Without Magic.

Weapons:
The Apprentice, being a peaceful man, does not favor carrying or using weapons. However, being Guardian of the Hat, he is equipped with a single longsword that he can wield with adept skill.

Though not typically used as a weapon, the Apprentice also carries a staff that he primarily uses as a walking aide and magical tool, though it can more than effectively function as a blunt weapon should the need call for it.

Strengths:
Aside from his magical talent, the Apprentice is an exceptionally intelligent individual, having spent most of his life under the Sorcerer's tutelage, gaining a vast amount of knowledge regarding various fields of study; ranging from simplistic and rudimentary to nigh-incomprehensible.

The Apprentice also displays an almost inhuman amount of focus, patience, and willpower, stemming from his advanced age and training. Because of this, he is highly resistant, if not immune to illusion spells, telepathy, and other such spells that attack or manipulate the mind.

Being far older than his youthfulness suggests, the Apprentice is not a quicksilver individual, and thusly paces his thinking, oftentimes spending an ample amount of time in deep contemplation and thinking so as to come to the solution of a problem. This made him come off as something of a sage or philosopher who would often spend hours gazing at the stars, as though trying to draw patterns within them.

Perhaps the Apprentice's greatest strength is his compassion and capacity for mercy. Respectful of all life, the Apprentice is loath to harm or kill anything if he can help it, always managing to see the good in anyone he comes across, never faltering in his belief that no matter how far someone wanders; they can always be put back on the right path.

Lastly, given his years spent under the Sorcerer's training and seeing the world, the Apprentice is a polymath: being a skilled writer, calligrapher, astronomer, scientist, alchemist, strategist, and mediator, making him an invaluable asset should one require intellectual guidance.

Weaknesses:
A skilled, respected, and accomplished wizard who has traveled and seen much, the Apprentice is human, extended lifespan or not, and thus suffers from his own set of weaknesses.

Firstly and perhaps most obviously is the Apprentice's weak health. Having been a rather sickly child since birth, the Apprentice, though attempting to stick to a healthy lifestyle nonetheless suffers from a chronic, racking cough that is oftentimes accompanied by blood. The exact source of this condition is unknown, nor can it apparently be cured by magic, and while it little affects the Apprentice on a whole scale, during a bout he will need to rest for a few minutes to regain his composure; which can prove especially dangerous when in the midst of danger.

Secondly, the Apprentice, despite his youthful appearance, is an aged man, and thus occasionally suffers the same drawbacks as other elders do. He can be absent-minded at times, forgetting names of people or places at random. He occasionally has bouts of being cagey or cranky, showing exceptional distaste for loud noises, over-energetic people, foolishness, and people who can't take things seriously.

The Apprentice also suffers from debilitating arthritis in his knees, causing a pronounced limp and forcing him to rely on his staff for extended walking or hiking, though he can temporarily overcome this weakness through the use of magic.

Thirdly, despite his pacifistic and sage ways, the Apprentice does have a bit of a darker side to his personality. He can lose his temper if pushed too far or if someone annoys him, while also having the capacity to become impatient or irate in certain situations or dealing with certain people. During times where his anger is pushed to its limit, he will strike out with righteous fury (a spectacle that witnesses refer to as rather terrifying).

Fourthly, the Apprentice can be secretive and uncommunicative at times, with even those he regularly speaks to regarding him as an enigmatic individual who gives away little, if anything about himself, the Sorcerer, or about the deeper involvements of his studies. While this may not be considered a powerful weakness in itself, it can prove to be dangerous in a group setting where trust and reliance are necessities.

Lastly and perhaps most dangerously, the Apprentice is not fast or quick-thinking, rather quite the opposite. He is slow and contemplative, often weighing out each option of a scenario before acting. This can prove to be a devastating weakness when dealing with enemies who use resourcefulness and foresight to their advantage, as the Apprentice is thrust into a situation where he is forced to think on his feet, costing him much of his effectiveness.

Brief Bio:
Born on a small, insignificant farm at least a century ago, the boy who would become the Apprentice was, for the first few years of his life, a sickly, fragile boy who was always bedridden with some illness or another; lacking the stamina or strength to help his father work in the fields. Because of this, the boy's relationship with his father strained, while he grew closer and closer to his mother, the boy oftentimes helping her prepare meals or clean around the house where he could, already showing a passion for learning and helping others.

By the time he was ten years old, the boy and his family were visited by a man dressed in long flowing robes that hid his face, a man who radiated an air of sheer awe, power, and veneration. Introducing himself as the Sorcerer, the man saw in the boy what no one in his family could....a potential for magic.

The Sorcerer revealed his intentions to the family: that he had journeyed across The Enchanted Forest and beyond in search of a new Apprentice, someone to be a student, a confidante, and a guardian of the Sorcerer's artifacts.

Noting the boy as having the inner talent needed to be the new Apprentice, the Sorcerer took the boy away with him after careful deliberation with his parents.

As the years passed, the boy, now known exclusively as the Apprentice, gained extensive knowledge of magic, ancient lore, science, and history under the teachings of the Sorcerer; even uncovering the inner machinations of a life long extended....perhaps even to the point of immortality.

Much of the Apprentice's backstory after becoming the Sorcerer's pupil is unknown, as he speaks little of it and no record of it is kept. However, there is occasional reference to a woman long ago...a woman the Apprentice remembers fondly, a lost love, perhaps.

Since then, the Apprentice has remained behind the scenes, becoming something of a legend amongst the common villagers and even some of the nobility, with some claiming to have met him in the past, though whether these declarations hold true or not depends on the listener...

~General Information~

Name (Enchanted Forest): Kaeden "Joker" Liddell.
Other Names: Knave.
Occupation: The Red Queen's Knave (Presently).
Place Of Origin: Wonderland.
Age: 28.
Affiliation: Chaotic Good & Chaotic Neutral.

* A chaotic good character acts as his conscious directs him with little regard for what others expect of him. He makes his own way, but he's kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right but has little use for laws and regulations. He hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. He follows his own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society.

* A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be either motivated either by good (a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). A chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it.

Appearance:

Wardrobe Style: Preferring to stay out of the limelight unlike his younger sister, Kaeden's wardrobe consists of several different outfits that cover a range of different occasions (Casual, Knave), each serving for practicality purposes rather than for show; the young man preferring the more casual look, to the clothes that he is forced to dress in for the sake of entertainment for the Queen in which he serves.

~Relationship Information~

Relationship Status: Single (Actually in a relationship).
Partner: Elizabeth Madden (Presumed Deceased).
Father: Carpenter (Presumed Deceased).
Mother: Carpenter's Wife (Presumed Deceased).
Siblings: Alice Liddell (Presumed Deceased).
Other Family: Jefferson Madden (Faux Brother; Presumed Deceased), Grace Madden (Faux Niece; Presumed Deceased).
Pet/s: While not owning any pets, Kaeden has a fondness for horses.

~Personal Information~

Personality: Seen to be rather naive and idealistic, Kaeden shows exceptional talent and potential for his age, his enthusiasm to further his skills and abilities unmatched by any other in Wonderland, and though he is rather outspoken and slightly foolish at times, he rarely uses his abilities for himself and mostly for the benefit of others. Also possessing a very good, quirky sense of humor, enduring the constant teasing from the people of Wonderland, and frequently engaging in verbal sparring with those who push him far enough; he is quite capable of coming up with insults on the spot, notably calling the Red Queen a "clotpole" on more than one occasion, though when asked to describe the exact meaning of the word, the young man often claims that the Queen herself is the exact definition, causing his humor to occasionally come across as being quite dry and sarcastic.

Although constantly told that he is an idiot (among other things) by the other inhabitants of Wonderland, Kaeden possesses quite the intelligence, having grown into the same traits as his father before him by picking up on the mans cunning, showing those around him that he is exceptionally smarter than they give him credit for. Quite impulsive and reckless at times, Kaeden can come across as completely oblivious and unaware, especially when it comes to women and romance, most often unable to catch on to whether a woman is flirting with him or not. While constantly being put down by almost all those around him, he does not want anyone else to suffer punishment for his own actions, becoming extremely guilt-ridden whenever someone takes the blame, either knowingly or ignorantly, for something that he did, and oftentimes becomes determined to clear the name of the innocent individual, no matter what it takes to do so.

While showing both a keen sense of observation and slight wisdom on the very rare occasion, to his family Kaeden is known to be stubbornly loyal and good-hearted, though also quite foolish, outlandishly overprotective, and sometimes even weak; unafraid of insulting people of a higher class than himself, he tends to address them by terms that no others would (such as: "clotpole", "dollop head", or "prat" and on occasion "stupid, old arrogant tyrant"), showing those around him that he considers them to be actual people rather than what their titles suggests them to be.

Strengths: A somewhat skilled swordsman, which he learned from those around him in Wonderland, Kaeden at first was both clumsy and unskilled, though over time, his swordsmanship improved to a point where he was able to defend himself and his family against some of the Red Queen's men who had been sent to raid the village. Also quite agile and showing great reflexes, especially when it comes to handling a blade and a crossbow, Kaeden later became fully confident with a sword when fighting, allowing him to strike down several targets in quick succession.

In addition to his skills with a sword, Kaeden is also extremely talented at keeping secrets, though those who do not know him look down upon him and claim that 'he wouldn't be able to keep a secret if his life depended on it', he is quick to retort, claiming that they would be surprised by his abilities to do just that.

Weaknesses: Quite immature, especially naive and at times majorly reckless, Kaeden has the habit of attempting to see the good in everyone and everything, even after being specifically warned by Caterpillar that it could (in the end) prove to be his undoing, though the young man doesn't seem to care, claiming that the word of an old man doesn't count for the actions of others.

Surprisingly, Kaeden is also proved to be an extremely incompetent assassin, and during the only instance in which he was ordered by the Red Queen to kill a specific target, all of his attempts seemed to fail, though this was due more by luck, rather than by the lacking of skills needed to preform the task.

Magic Capabilities:
While it has not yet been discovered as to whether Kaeden possess any magical qualities or capabilities, he understands just how truly dangerous magic can really be, and knows that all magic comes with a price, though with all of Wonderland seeing him as nothing more than a joke, the young man is even afraid to try and find out whether he can perform magic or not; his feelings towards the subject causing him to harbor a slight jealousy towards his younger sister, Alice who is able to wield magic as well as she can.

Weapons:
Quite skilled and able to handle a range of different weapons, Kaeden prefers the feel of blades to most others that are available for his use, though with the choice at hand he will always chance a sword and daggers above all other weapons that are at his disposal.

Brief Biography:
Forced to be nothing more than the joke of Wonderland since birth, Kaeden grew up extremely close to, and quite protective over his younger sister Alice, the young boy doing all that he could to help look after and keep her out of trouble with the help of their two best friends, Jefferson and Elizabeth Madden, the four children soon becoming as thick as thieves, rarely ever being seen without at least one of the others by their sides; their relationships growing stronger as the years passed them by. Soon hit hard by the loss of both of their parents, Kaeden did his best to step up, and with the help of both Jefferson and Elizabeth, the three of them did all that they could to work together and continue to raise Alice together as best as they could, the young girl blossoming into a beautiful, curious and charming young lady right before their eyes, while his relationship with Elizabeth seemed to bloom into something more, the two of them finding love with one another making life seem just that much more brighter until disaster seemed to strike them all down.

With the news of his sister's execution weighing down upon his shoulders, and fear striking him in the heart, Kaeden turned tail and ran, unable to stay and watch as his sister lost her head, and instead running from her ultimate doom causing his last memory of her to be that of her calling out and pleading with him for help. Returning home and completely riddled with guilt, he quickly packed up what little belongings he had and sought out the White Rabbit, leaving Wonderland altogether, unable to live there any longer with the thought that he had betrayed and left his sister in her time of need. Finding himself in the middle of the Enchanted Forest, Kaeden wandered before finally settling down in the Kingdom of Avonlea, soon becoming a Knight under Gaston and King Maurice; a year passing before he found himself once more face to face with Elizabeth while escorting a carriage of gold from the Kingdom.

Now with only Elizabeth left within his life, and forever mourning the loss of the rest of his family, Kaeden did his best to do the proud and make up for all the wrongs that he had done in the past, their relationship becoming exceptionally close until fate seemed to have other ideas for the pair. Now following her lead and running with Robin Hood, Elizabeth was offered one last job as a collector, and with her promises of returning as soon as she could, he reluctantly agreed and allowed her to take on the job with the knowledge that once she got back, the two of them would be starting a new life together; a better life. Growing worried after Elizabeth had missed her deadline, Kaeden quickly set off after her, his searches leading him back to the Queen of Hearts' castle, and though he was haunted with the memories of his sister, his drive for finding the woman he loved kept pushing him forward, however, just as the two found each other, the Queen struck, causing her to turn to stone before his very eyes. Overcome with grief and shock at losing the only one he had left in his life, Kaeden gave himself up, not bothering to fight as the Queen's men dragged him away to the cells, forcing him to await the chopping block, just as his sister had done before him.

~Other Information~

Other: Originally belonging to his little sister, Kaeden wears a small key necklace around his neck in memory of her and everything that he did to wrong her; a precious keepsake that helps to serve as a personal reminder of the person that he never wishes to be again.

Name: Red

Appearance:

Age: 26

Affiliation: Good

Magic Capabilities: Has the ability to turn into a wolf which she has been able to master controlling as of late.

Weapons: Red carries around a couple hidden daggers within her boots and belt. She also uses a bow and arrows (favorably) and has been known to wield dual blades.

Strengths: Tracking, hunting, survival, natural instincts, heightened senses. Whenever Red is in the forest, she will never perish as the forest is like home to her. Her keen sense of smell and sight also make it easier to track down either people or potential food.

Weaknesses: Red often times reverts back to her past when she was unable to control the wolf inside of her and often times blames herself for things she couldn’t control. She is also very sensitive when it comes to her granny and will do whatever it takes to protect her. As a wolf, the only known thing to be able to hurt her is a silver dagger.

Relationships:
Granny, who she has spent her entire life with and was raised by.
Snow White, arguably her best friend.
Anita, her mother who is since deceased.

Brief Bio: Red was a very little girl when she lost her father and two brothers to the Wolf and has since been raised by her own Granny. Many, many years later, Red and Snow were out to find the wolf to put an end to all the death during Wolfstime, however what they found nearly broke Red's heart. A set of footprints in the snow that led to Red's window led Snow and Red to believe that Red's boyfriend, Peter, was the wolf. Snow White, however, had other matters she had to attend to but Red decided that she needed to stay with Peter and help him; what if he didn't know he was a wolf? She let Snow go and found Peter, telling him of her findings on the wolf who had been terrorizing the village. Believing that he really was the wolf, he chained himself up to a tree so that when he transformed, he couldn’t hurt anyone. Red stayed with him the entire night, however it came to be that it was Red who was the wolf, and since Peter was chained up, he became a snack for Red as she was unable to control (or even remember) her wolf part.

Red didn't even realize what had happened until her Granny came just as it was too late with Red's red cloak and draped it over the wolf, which instantly transformed Red back into her human self. Overly distraught by killing her love, Red fled into the forest, unable to bring herself to return home where she and Peter had shared so many memories. It wasn't until a few days later, still hiding out in the forest, where she heard of Snow White's death, and blames herself. If she would have gone with Snow, then The Evil Queen Regina wouldn't have killed her, and Peter wouldn't be dead. Red went to visit Snow's resting place once, however she stayed by her best friend's lifeless side for days. She didn't acknowledge the dwarfs who were there, only staring blankly at her best friend and feeling the guilt of the two deaths wash over her time and time again. She decided to leave Snow's resting place and let herself become victim to the forest; she wouldn't even put up a fight. However, in her wandering, Red came across her mother who she believed to be dead, however she was also a wolf and in hiding with a whole pack of werewolves. Red stayed with her new-found mother and taught Red how to control (and remember) being the wolf when she transformed. One day, a lost little boy happened upon their den and Red's mother wanted the boy immediately killed since he knew where their den was located. Red, however, couldn't allow this to happen and in a struggle to help save the boy, Red killed her own mother.

Red returned the little boy to his village, but she kept on going...deeper and deeper into the forest to once again find a reason to live. Anything at all. Lest, she will let the forest consume her.

Name:
Ruby

Appearance:

Age:
26

Status and Job:
Waitress at Granny’s Diner

Skills:
Ruby is pretty damn good at playing the social game; especially when it comes to men. By using her sexuality, Ruby can practically make any man do anything she wants within reason, however this usually only includes things such as getting a guy to buy her a drink or give her a ride home or even sometimes getting two guys to fight over which one can take her home for the night.

Talents:
Being a waitress for as long as she can remember, Ruby has immaculate balancing skills when it comes to larger dinner orders, and can walk with ease in six-inch heels. She also has a sense of fashion that really shows off the assets of her body while also reflecting her personality.

Strengths:
Ruby is a head-strong individual that isn’t afraid to speak her mind. When it comes right down to it, she will fight tooth-and-nail for what she believes in and oftentimes sways other people to agreeing with her way of thinking.

She also has a rocking body that she isn’t afraid to show off in the least and has a very good fashion sense when it comes to clothes and makeup that help bring out the greatest features in her body.

She can hold her liquor exceptionally well for a girl as thin as her, and has proven on a couple of occasions to be able to drive home drunk without screwing anything up.

She is also a loyal friend to those close to her, and will do anything to help them if it is in their best interest, however she’s unafraid to tell her friends that they are complete morons if what they want isn’t in their best interest.

Weaknesses:
Ruby can be very opinionated, which can get her into a lot of trouble since she sees things a bit differently than what would be considered the ‘norm.’

She also likes to dress up in items of clothing that hardly cover anything about her, thus giving her the reputation of an easy girl looking for a good time. Ruby personally has no problem about this, but the other people in town who aren’t men ogling after her have a big problem with having a harlot running around town.

Ruby also hates responsibility. She wants to party all the time and when her Granny asks her to open up the diner in the mornings, the whole town can hear their fighting. She fights a lot with Granny, and thus does not have a good relationship with her even though all Granny wants to do is to teach her responsibility, but Ruby just isn’t interested.

Relationships:
Ruby seems to know most all of the men in Storybrooke, and seems to have had some sort of relationship with all of the ones within her age range.
Her Granny owns the town’s most common eatery, Granny’s Diner as well as Granny’s Bed and Breakfast where they use a separate part of the building as their own home.

Brief Bio:
Ruby works for her Granny in both the Bed and Breakfast and the Diner. Ruby usually takes the late afternoon or night shifts since she likes to stay out late and sleep in all morning if she’s even there at all, since most of the time she gets out of work to go and enjoy the company of a man.

She has no interest in any sort of ‘serious’ relationship, she’s having way too much fun partying the nights away and staying single, allowing herself to have more fun as well as keep a sense of freedom about her. Not being tied down to anyone is the best feeling to Ruby, and she doesn’t see herself wanting to settle down for a long, long time.
Jefferson Madden - The Mad Hatter

Name: Jefferson Madden, The Mad Hatter

Appearance:

Age: 29 (+5 cursed years)

Affiliation: Neutral Good

Status and Job:
Hatter | Portal Jumper and Odd Jobs

Magic Capabilities:
Jefferson himself does not wield any magic however he does have means to a hat that allows him to 'jump' between magical realms and knows the rules of the hat like the back of his hand.

Weapons:
Aside from his quick wits and suave charm, Jefferson himself does not wield any weapons and has never had to deal with a situation that could not be solved by his own fists when he was required to take action (as he would sooner run from a threat or talk his way out of it).

Strengths:

Weaknesses:

Brief Bio:

Name:
Baeden Cassidy

Real Name:
Baelfire

Age:
23

Occupation (If Any):
Construction

Appearance - Thirteen Years Ago (Age 9 ):

Appearance - Today (Age 22):

Personality Traits:
Baeden is a kind, loyal soul with the best interest of others in his heart. He’s not very social (by choice) and prefers to do most things alone but he’s not against having company if the invitation is put out there. He’s smart, independent and is perfectly content with living life as ‘the middle class.’

Skills:
Baeden is very fit, therefore the more rigorous tasks of day-to-day life come fairly easy to him. He’s also quick on his feet as well as quick-minded. He’s also an adept thief and although he hardly uses these skills anymore, breaking into a house or car is not at all beyond his abilities.

Biography (Before Earth):
Baelfire was born in a small village on the outskirts of the kingdom while his father, Rumpelstiltskin, was enlisted in The Ogre’s War. His father returned shortly after his birth and the two became nearly inseparable. Growing up, he hardly knew his mother as she was always busy with other things, as his father would often tell him. All in all, Baelfire never really knew what it was like to have a mother. Even though his was there, it was his father who tucked him in at night, read him stories, played with him, taught him how to work and so on.

When Baelfire was nearly ten years old, the age limit to be drafted into The Ogre’s War was dropped down to ten years old and within a few months, he would be drafted. His father became fearful of what would happen to him, and set off on a journey with promises to return and keep Baelfire out of being drafted.

Baelfire never saw his father again.

Nearly two weeks after his father’s departure, the village was under attack. Baelfire ran from home and eventually found his mother, Milah, and the two managed to slip out of the village without any notice. Mother and son were then cast into their own journey, braving the wilds until reaching the next village over where Milah learned about the portals that would be opened up to be able to send their children through for safety. Putting in their lot with them, Baelfire and his mother journeyed with the others to gain access to the portals despite Baelfire’s pleas to go and find his father first.
The Queen’s soldiers were upon them quickly, but Baelfire managed to slip through the portal before it closed, the last thing he saw being a sword slipping between his mother’s ribs and falling to the ground lifeless.

Biography (Life On Earth):
Baelfire spent his birthday living on the streets that first year. Having learned how to fend for himself at an early age, living on the streets in this strange new land wasn’t a difficult task. Two years later while raiding through a house on the richer side of town, Baelfire was caught by the owner’s daughter, a few years older than himself. She was understanding towards Baelfire’s situation and though he didn’t go into his past or where he came from, she accepted him and did what she could to help him.

He was kept in a hidden room in the nursery where the girl would sneak him food as often as she could and while the parents were out, he was allowed to come out and play. It only lasted a few weeks before the parents found out and Baelfire was taken to an orphanage immediately. When asked his name, Baelfire simply responded with 'Bae' since thats what his father preferred to call him, and his mother always defaulted to 'boy.' He was adopted rather quickly into a home that reminded Baelfire very much of his own and his name was quickly changed to Baeden. It was a trashy place, the father always gone and the mother always coked up on some kind of drug. He was quickly put to work in what Baelfire quickly realized wasn’t a family, but a job. He was forced to do the mundane tasks of a ‘gopher’ in the world of the drug trade, and hated every minute of it. He was beaten often, and fed very little. By the time Baelfire turned sixteen he had enough, and left without a word.

He has been living on his own ever since, working in construction since he left home and slowly climbing the ladder over the years and finally reaching a place in his life where he feels content.

Other:
Baelfire has a bit of a drinking problem and could be considered a bit of a ladies man when he has the time on the weekends to hit up a bar.

His birthday is also coming up very soon.

Rosaline Hall 10:14 A.M.

“Up out of the lampshade, startled by the overhead light, flew a large nocturnal butterfly that began circling the room. The strains of the piano and violin rose up weakly from below.”

With a short exhale of breath, Kate let her long, nimble fingers close the now finished binding of the book, The Unbearable Lightness of Being. It was a relatively new book, published just a few years ago but that didn’t mean it couldn’t be a classic. Within the first few pages she had immersed herself in just yesterday, having borrowed it from Rosaline Hall’s very own library, she was hooked on the story of the successful surgeon, Thomas, a womanizing bastard that had everything coming to him and more when the woman he loved was also involved in an affair forcing him to stop and chase after her. It was such a silly thing really, to be so engrossed in a fictional drama. But the ink-pressed words on a paper page had always brought Kate comfort, even more so now when more than half of her family was missing. In that whimsical, romanticized mind of hers, she knew that she would find them one day. After all, everyone deserved a happy ending.

Now that she had been pulled out of ‘book land’ Kate’s mind had a chance to take in her immediate surroundings but more important than remembering that she had shut herself in the provided bedroom in the East Wing for the morning, Kate was able to catch onto the very tail end of something she could only assume was important.

“In case you didn’t catch that, please come to the meeting room. Now, please. See you in a moment.”

Kate blinked her large, brown eyes, staring at a vacant space on the wall in front of her. That was Alberta Ashdown, unmistakably. How on Earth did she manage to block out everything else beforehand? At least, she was assuming there was a beforehand message in relation to the latter, it would only make sense. The brief thought that Bertha might have been asking someone specifically to meet her in the meeting room had crossed her mind, but the last thing Kate wanted was to miss yet another meeting because she had been lost to her books. No, it was better to assume that Bertha meant everyone than not, even though most times she was excluded from the definition of ‘everyone’ given her unique position within Rosaline Hall. At least this way, if she was wrong, she could return the book she borrowed to Viktor.

Uncrossing her legs from her position on the edge of her bed, Kate pushed herself up onto her feet, finding her pair of black strapped heels she would have put on later that day to complete her simple outfit she had already dressed herself in. With The Unbearable Lightness of Being pressed firmly to her chest by crossing her arms over it, she quickly crossed over to the door, muttering a quick spell so the enchanted door would open for her and stepped over the threshold into the hall. Perhaps if she hurried, she wouldn’t be too terribly late…

She was wrong.

The voyage from the East Wing to the meeting room wasn’t particularly a long one, however when Kate found that the solid oak doors were already shut up tight, she hesitated before them, wondering now if it might be better to just wait out the meeting and get the details from someone else or if it would just be better to interrupt what she was sure had already started. She shifted her weight from one foot to the other, uncrossing her right hand from pressing the book to her chest to tuck a curled strand of her dark brown hair behind her ear. Worrying her lip between her teeth gently, Kate took in a deep breath, pushing caution to the wind and opened up the doors quietly.

She slipped her lithe frame inside the room, having only opened it up just enough to squeeze her body inside, her fingertips pressing back on the door behind her so that it would shut quietly. Immediately, as she looked around the room, her suspicions had been confirmed when she quickly counted the number of heads within the room. Not only was she late, again, but she was indeed the very last. A small, twisting knot formed inside of her stomach, a soft blush creeping across her cheeks as she slid her body to the left of the doors and rested her back against the wall, keeping to the sidelines as she tried to pick up on what was so important.

"If you do wish for one of us to go to McCarthy Manor, may I humbly request that it is not me? I have... too many memories attached to that place that I find rather unpleasant. Also, Sir, if I may request, may I speak with you alone later?"

McCarthy Manor? Kate kept her eyes on Alora as she spoke, trying to surmise quickly what might have already been discussed while still paying attention to what was still happening presently, though was unable to hold any luck. There wasn’t much that Kate knew about Alora, save for her healing position here at the mansion, therefore the ties she spoke of towards McCarthy Manor went unexplained leaving Kate to try so solve the puzzle of conversation on her own by whoever spoke next. If she was so lucky.

She should have just apparated. Perhaps that would have saved all this confuddled mess of confusion she had put herself into. The small knot that had formed in Kate’s stomach prior tightened a bit at the thought, reminding Kate then just how sick apparating had made her the last time she did. No, not even being on time to a meeting was worth that pain.
Wonderful! A perfect time for me to bring in Kate! Expect a post soon!
I don't mind! I could bump that deadline back to like, midnight tonight or something, if you'd prefer? Don't want you having to wait forever to get to posting ^^

Naw keep your deadline lol I'm fine with waiting, gives me more time to get out a better post :p
Well considering that a big part of Kate's personality is that she's almost always late for everything. So would it be okay if I wait until then?
