I'm sorry... I can't keep going like this. I need solidity. Figure out what you want and why... and then talk to me. I will always love you. And yes. even she knows that.

I'm not asking you to forgive me. I'll never understand or forgive myself. And if I die, so help me, I'll laugh at myself for being an idiot. There's one thing I do know and that is that I love you.

~Chernabog~

Name: Chernabog
Other Names: Satan, The Devil, Lucifer
Real Name: Abaddon Chernabog | Ambrose Facilier
Age: Ageless
Occupation: Bringer of Sin

Appearance - Thirteen Years Ago (Ageless):

Appearance - Today (Ageless):

Personality Traits:
As the entire entity of sin, Churnabog is appropriately classified as Satanic and demonic, which stems from quite a few nicknames he has earned over the multitude of years. A naturally dark entity, both physically and personality wise, Churnabog has quite the sadistic twist about him that sets him apart from all the rest, growing in more power the more other people experience pain. He is the essence of nightmares, which makes his overall person quite mysterious as neither religion or science can pin-point exactly what he is. Hands down the most powerful being in all the realms combined, the word "powerful" doesn't even hold a torch to what Churnabog truly is - pure evil. He is extremely ritualistic, having branches of his practices all over the worlds which are now known as Voodoo, Dark Magic, Exorcism/Possession, and so on - all having quite defined ways of how the "magic" is used and performed.

Skills:
Being a rather renowned chthonic being, Churnabog has, by trade, unlimited power. Even in light, he has the power to bring forth darkness. His power to corrupt is unmatchable, simply just having to twist the minds of man to do his bidding, planting thoughts in their heads that drive them to do as he wishes. He is immortal, as light can not exist without darkness, so Churnabog can never truly be killed, only contained.

Though not considered magic, Churnabog's abilities render him able to control the "darker" elements such as fire and the entire idea of black magic itself. This enables him to do anything in the name of darkness, even granting him the ability to raise the dead, whether it be by his own essence to inhabit a body or a simple ritual to bring that person back from the Underworld and even Hell.

When taking a physical form, Churnabog has an incredible increase of strength, endurance and stamina than that of a normal human being and even a step or two above a God. Though to keep up appearances as a human in the body that he inhabits, he very rarely exercises these traits though it is not below him to use them when alone or making someone do something for him.

Biography (Before Earth):
In the beginning, there was light, but light knew it could not last forever lest it burn out quickly from being used constantly, as there was nothing to balance it. So darkness was created by evolution to help the light, creating a perfect harmony that then gave life to "day" and "night." As the universe continued to develop, in all instances, timelines and rifts, man was made, and light and darkness began to effect different people in different ways.

It was in the very early beginnings of man that darkness was given a name - Churnabog. It was believed that darkness was an entity all of its own, explainable - almost extra terrestrial. People were driven to do bad things without explanation, sin began to become more and more common. The name Churnabog was then split into many different names, but the entire premise of what it was, was vastly understood by any and all people. Darkness was bad, light was good, one could not survive without the other, but as time went on, the scales began to tip in darkness' favor, casting words into prolonged periods of ruin and destruction.

It is a very common thing for darkness to take over a certain persons body, most of the time while they are alive but there have been a few cases throughout history when people have sworn up and down that they witnessed a person raise from the dead. Churnabog uses the physical body as a parasite would use a host, except he takes over completely as though it were his own body and uses it to his content until he grows bored and ventures to his next victim, seeing just how much death and destruction he can bring at a time.

It came to a point where a group of powerful sorcerers had, had enough of Churnabog's destruction. At the rate he was going, words were dying and there would be nothing left. So constructing up a powerful artifact, the sorcerers tricked Churnabog into touching the artifact, binding his essence to it and entrapping him for what the sorcerers believed to be the rest of eternity.

Though exceptionally powerful, they were unable to keep Churnabog from vanishing from the world, completely. His influence of darkness still lingered to balance the light. Though now that Churnabog no longer had his own personal hand in things, words were able to start growing once more, and soon, the entity that was Churnabog that had been bound by magic was slowly forgotten.

Biography (Life On Earth):
Life on Earth is very much Churnabog's life in any other realm. Where there is life, there is light and darkness, and where there is darkness, Churnabog lurks, awaiting his next victim.

Other:
Churnabog has very distinct ties to the Voodoo Master, Doctor Armand Facilier, though it is unclear as to how specifically at this time.

~The Shadow Man – Armand Facilier~

Name: Dr. Facilier.
Other Names: The Shadow Man, Witch Doctor, Voodoo Man.
Real Name: Armand Facilier.
Age: 32.
Occupation: King of The Bayou - Voodoo Master.

Appearance - Thirteen Years Ago (Age Nineteen):

Appearance - Today (Age Thirty-Two):

As The Shadow Man -Makeup-

Personality Traits: Armand is a scheming bokor who has no friends but those on 'the other side." He oftentimes tricks his victims into making deals with him by reading their past, present and future with tarot cards. Oftentimes he over dramatizes the future reading and offers to help change their otherwise 'inescapable' future. He isn't exactly dishonest with his readings, he tends to embellish the bad and hide the good, but there is always a spark of truth in the cards he wields but has learned over the years that the human race is a greedy one and tends to overlook the good and strive only for what he can offer them. However the deals Armand makes usually backfire on the victim like telling someone that he sees 'green' in their future and though the victim automatically thinks 'money' is turned into a frog instead.

Armand is also very intelligent and is able to come up with a rather complicated plan in a relatively short period of time. He can be very patient despite how angry he can oftentimes be. He is a suave, smooth-talking man and is oftentimes charming, but on the other side his true colors reveal him to be cruel, remorseless and sadistic. He is a very charismatic performer, a smooth-talker of drama and showmanship. He's also quite the glutton for power. He's controlling and vindictive, doing whatever he can to get what he wants even if that means double crossing those he knows to be more powerful than him, but does so with a cool and collected head to keep from being exposed and will work with anyone who can promise him more power.

Armand does not underestimate the powers of nature either, and knows that animals can talk and have minds of their own just like humans do, and yet he has no problems squishing bugs or sacrificing baby animals for his own voodoo experiments. He has a complete lack of morals and has a treacherous nature, though his true intentions of what he is exactly about remain hidden to everyone but himself... and of course his friends on the other side.

Skills: A true boker with the exceptional talent for left-handed (Petro) Voodoo, he taps into the darker side of magic so very few are able to do genuinely. Both a conjurer and a sorcerer of sorts, he possesses powerful dark voodoo magic capable of accomplishing nearly anything. He can see into the past of a person and see what people desire the most. He is proficient in sleight of hand, effortlessly shuffling, twisting and manipulating his deck of tarot cards given to him by the spirits of the other side personally. Being a skilled conjurer as well, he is able to pull his staff and tarot deck (among other small things) out of nothing at all (though could arguably be tracked back to his ability of sleight of hand). The tarot cards themselves possess strange properties: the images on their face seem to change depending on the person who he is reading, reflecting the desires of Armand's victim's for a more visual effect. The images usually show his victims their future in a positive light, however they are unable to corrupt the truth entirely and usually include a clue as to the victims real fate.

Armand also has his use for a strange pink powder, the effects of this powder include (but are not limited to) reversing a curse he has cast upon a victim, making a man spontaneously grow a head of hair, producing puffs of smoke that display memories and desires. His Voodoo Emporium holds all sorts of strange objects, half of which he hasn't even tried, including (but not limited to) shrunken heads and voodoo dolls that can 'come to life, chant, and beat drums' to create a more unsettling mood for his 'clients.' The dolls also serve a practical application for the intended purpose of inflicting pain on the person the doll is modeled after.

Armand's abilities are primarily derived from his 'friends' on the other side. These 'friends' of his are in fact a multitude of dark spirits (also known as Loa) which appear to 'give life' to the otherwise inanimate objects in his Emporium like the voodoo dolls and shrunken heads. These shadow spirits come to his every call, forced to do his will as they are trapped between this world and the next, and through Armand, are able to come into our world by special means as more than just shadows. Vulnerable to light, these 'shadows' (and even his own shadow) they grow in power the darker the area is. Sometimes, in complete darkness, the shadows can pull themselves free of their confined walls or floors and become more 3-dimensional, whether it be an arm, a head, a leg, or their whole body for a short amount of time. These shadows are able to affect the real world in which we live, as they are in limbo in a place called 'The Shadow Land' where everything in our world is paralleled, but with shadows. If Armand commands one of his 'friends' to bring him back a physical stray dog, the shadows seek out the dog's shadow and bring it back to Armand, and the physical dog is affected accordingly.

Strangely enough, despite having this great power that is unlike anyone ever known, Armand can't conjure anything for himself. Instead, he must rely on trickery and guile to manipulate other people into doing what he wants. The nature of his power seems to stem around making deals; he only gains full access to his voodoo when fulfilling someone else's wishes (although he most often twists them to suit his own ends) or by tempting them. Lucking for Armand, he is a master of lies, deceit and cunning with hypnotic charismatic and vocal persuasion being second nature to him.

Biography (Before Earth):
Born in the backwater region of a remote land known as The Bayou, Armand Facilier learned what poverty truly meant ever since his birth. The family of which he was born into was not 'well-off' by any means, and in fact had no sense of bringing in a child into the world as they were not able to even care for the two of them most of the time. Armand's father, a fiscally struggling laborer named Ambrose, did whatever he could to provide for his small family, but his efforts were almost in vain as he hardly made enough to put up a decent meal on the table a few days out of the week, let alone being able to afford a nice house, clean clothes and toys for young Armand and a few years later his sister, Magnolia.

Things took a turn from bad to worse when Armand's father received a letter, drafting him into the army in a war that The Bayou had no purpose being in the first place, however as it was law, Ambrose had no choice but to leave his wife and two children. Armand's mother, pregnant with her third child, was forced to take up the mantle in getting a handful of different jobs to keep them from starving to death, though ultimately the small family ended up on the streets. It was at this point where the Facilier's couldn't have fallen lower, it seemed, and with Armand just old enough to know that things were bad... very bad in fact, life just wasn't quite finished with them yet. Nearly a year after Armand's father had left for the army, the family was delivered a letter from his station, alerting them that Ambrose had fallen in battle and would not be returning home. The pension for his services gave them very little, and was used up in the matter of a few short months putting them right back where they started, and father-less.

Overcome with stress, grief and foul thoughts, Armand's mother finally went into labor, only to have a still birth, and Armand would never get to know what was to be his second little sister. Having reached her limit after this point, Armand's mother placed both him and Magnolia under the care of her husbands mother, Armand's grandmother they called Mamma Odie, a seemingly senile old priestess who thought she could talk to animals and had a knack for 'natural remedies' for almost everything; but never seemed to work.
Still just a young boy, Armand was forced now to raise both his sister and grandmother (who Armand was even amazed to begin with that she was able to fend for herself and a home to begin with). He spent the next couple years of his life doing a variety of odd jobs where he could, oftentimes spending grueling hours on the streets of the Bayou, getting no real education and making very little in return, being forced to beg or steal just to keep himself and his even smaller family from starving.

The Facilier family's problems weren't over just yet, however. Magnolia, at the very young age of eight, mysteriously came down with debilitating symptoms, later examined by a traveling physician and diagnosed as the fatal blood disease, Ebola. Without proper treatment, Armand's sister would surely die within a few weeks, but the Facilier's just couldn't afford the treatment and so Armand was forced to watch as his sister grew worse and worse until ultimately, he found himself digging her grave and placing her lifeless body inside.

Now hardened and cynical, Armand became closed off to the world entirely, finding things like love, empathy and compassion to be a fool's waste; no longer worth his time or attention. Even for Mamma Odie, who desperately tried to reach out to him when he came back home at night was given the cold shoulder, as he wanted nothing to do with her or anyone else he had once cared for ever again and eventually left the safety of her little home to go out on his own. Still working hard each and every day, Armand, now nineteen years old, contracted a rare and life-threatening disease himself, later diagnosed as Babesiosis. Figuring that it was just his luck, as his entire family seemed to have some sort of 'bad blood' within them, Armand kept this revelation to himself entirely and waited for death's sweet kiss that would take him away from this horrid life and to reunite with his two sisters and father in a much, much happier place.

Somehow, Armand managed to hold on for another five years during the time in which he had refined his skills of thievery, lying, deception and sleight of hand, eventually opening up his own shop of Voodoo to give him something to pass the time by in which most (if not all) of his acts were faked; but faked convincingly. It was also during this time that word had spread like wildfire of Maleficent and her band of villains had otherwise taken over their entire world, leading it into darkness but Armand couldn't find it in himself to care; he was a dead man anyway. The Bayou, small as it was, went without notice and his land was otherwise left to the (comparingly) peaceful villains that of crocodiles and large snakes.

One fateful, stormy day as Armand was headed back to his Voodoo Emporium (which doubled as his home), he was finding each and every step to become more and more difficult. Finally, the moment in which he hadn't believed would ever come had arrived. He could feel his entire body shutting down, one organ after another, one limb at a time until he completely collapsed down in an alleyway of the small city. As he lay there, staring up at the rain coming down on his face, Armand could only smile weakly, for his time had finally come. Finally, finally he would be taken from his horrid life and placed into a much better place. Laying there, waiting, his vision was the last thing to go but before he managed to shut down completely, there was a hard pressure on his abdomen.

Weakly looking down at his stomach, he watched as a large black mamba slithered across his stomach, it's head coming straight at him. It's fangs were bared as it hissed threateningly at Armand, copious amounts of venom dripping from it's open mouth. Sighing in relief, knowing that death would come one way or another, Armand closed his deep brown eyes and waited. The Black Mamba struck, clenching it's powerful jaws on the juncture of his hand between his thumb and forefinger and filled Armand's toxic blood with it's own venom. The poison, however, was something else entirely. Armand's eyes flew open, now a soft lavender color; a striking difference from his soft browns. That wasn't the only thing that changed, however. Life was being pumped back into him, his body becoming more and more capable until there wasn't any pain or suffering left. His mind was severely affected, however. It was as if another being had entered into his head, battling with Armand for control over his body until the demon won out in the end, thus creating the link between himself and The Shadow Realm and with the new and proficiently learned skills of real voodoo. Getting up from the rain gutter, Armand dusted himself off and took his first few steps, no longer himself, but the new and improved Shadow Man.

Years later, after perfecting his craft and taking over the Bayou by his own means and even expanding the territory quite a considerable amount, Armand was found by no one other than Maleficent, who demanded his loyalty in exchange for her services; of which Armand took up almost too eagerly. Now working for Maleficent, there is very little that can get in the way of The Shadow Man, because no one, not even The Queen of the entire land could cross over to the other side like he could.

Biography (Life On Earth):
Armand never went to Earth, and has no idea the place even exists.

Other: Armand is one of the few 'reigning Kings' who was not given power by Maleficent, however this did not stop him from pledging his loyalty to her after she managed to track him down a handful of years after her dominating reign.

Scar Lionheart
“Throw me to the lions... and I will return leading the pride.”

🦁Name:
Scar Lionheart

🦁Other Names:
Kovu, King of The Pride Lands

🦁Age:
Thirty Four

🦁Affiliation:

A lawful evil villain methodically takes what he wants within the limits of his code of conduct without regard for whom it hurts. He cares about tradition, loyalty, and order but not about freedom, dignity, or life. He plays by the rules but without mercy or compassion. He is comfortable in a hierarchy and would like to rule, but is willing to serve. He condemns others not according to their actions but according to race, religion, homeland, or social rank. He is loath to break laws or promises. This reluctance comes partly from his nature and partly because he depends on order to protect himself from those who oppose him on moral grounds. Some lawful evil villains have particular taboos, such as not killing in cold blood (but having underlings do it) or not letting children come to harm (if it can be helped). They imagine that these compunctions put them above unprincipled villains. Some lawful evil people and creatures commit themselves to evil with a zeal like that of a crusader committed to good. Beyond being willing to hurt others for their own ends, they take pleasure in spreading evil as an end unto itself. They may also see doing evil as part of a duty to an evil deity or master. Lawful evil is sometimes called diabolical, because devils are the epitome of lawful evil. Lawful evil is the best alignment you can be because it combines honor and dedicated self-interest. However, lawful evil can be a dangerous alignment because it represents methodical, intentional, and frequently successful evil.

🦁Status and Job:
King of The Pride Lands

🦁Appearance Thirteen Years Ago (Twenty One):

🦁Appearance Today (Thirty Four):

🦁Appearance (Cursed Lion):

🦁Magic Capabilities:
Though having no magical capabilities himself, Scar's body undertakes a magical transformation any time his anger gets the best of him. When a beast, he is unable to control himself - unpredictable but most often times blood thirsty. There hasn't yet been anything that can stop him including magic, but his animal form drains his energy quickly and is prone to losing consciousness and waking up human again.

🦁Weapons:
Though trained in nearly every weapon ever created, Scar has a few select swords he favors above all others.

Firstly, a rather simple blade given to him by Maleficent that is rather sentimental to Scar as it still is stained with the blood of his brother. It is used more for decorational purposes, however.

Secondly, his primary weapon of choice is a slightly heavier blade that had been lost to him for a great amount of time, but reclaimed after taking the throne from Mufasa.

🦁Strengths:
Even as an adolescent, Scar proved himself to be highly intelligent and exceptionally manipulative. He is sly, cunning, and decietful, able to pull of heinous acts with little to no suspicion from his peers. Despite his inner insecurities, Scar is a natural orator with a charismatic charm, able to rally his followers to his cause and gain the fanatical loyalty of other villains. When forced into a fight, he can hold his own above the rest, as his body is in pique physical condition and is not above cheating. Though cursed, the animalistic abilities that come to Scar in his human form have heightened his senses as well as giving him amplified strength and stamina which give him the edge in any sort of physical brawl. Scar is also impecably trained in the art of war, combat, and weapons, having been familiarized with a sword even at the young age of six and only growing stronger from there as he was enlisted into the army at seven, rising to become the army's general. Highly intelligent and able to come up with masterful plans with just a few minutes, Scar is able to retain almost everything he sees and store it in the back of his mind to use at a later time. His charismatic charm often times leads those into following him blindly. But he isn't all brains. Having grown up in his father's army to ultimately become their leader, Scar is very proficient with a blade and shield, but even better with improvisation when weapons are unavailable. He is also a high physical threat as he is a master of hand-to-hand combat.

🦁Weaknesses:
Scar is motivated by jealousy. His ties to family only go so far when his own goals are in mind, and saw no problem in endangering his brother's life in order to get the attention he so desired. He takes little interest in the well being of his followers, willing to bend the rules and put his own interests above all others. He takes to plotting and his perceptual features are nonchalance, seriousness and almost comical sarcasm. It's hard for him to find allies amongst the royals so he is forced to develop relationships with other outcasts such as the Hyenas. He has an urge for a dramatic presentation and will even sacrifice others' lives in order to get a dramatic atmosphere. Still jealous and bogged down by feelings of inferiority, Scar is psychopathic and even less reliant on his family, willing to frame and murder the only family members he has left in order to steal the throne. He is still sensitive to the mention of his brother, knowing full well that he can never be the king that Mufasa was in regards to the people loving him. He suffers from a lack of self-esteem and to cover that up he thrives in torturing the helpless. Even in a position of power, he remains vulnerable to bouts of indecision and insecurity, unable to accept criticism and too stubborn to take the advice of his advisers. His smooth talking is not easily overlooked, but when his walls are broken down, Scar is revealed to be a coward who would much more likely run from a conflict than turn to face it. His natural charisma hides a cowardly nature that refuses to accept blame and takes no shame in shoving problems and troubles on other individuals.

🦁Relationships:
🦁Relationship Status: Single
🦁Sexuality: Heterosexual
🦁(Ex)Partner: Kiara Kiburi
🦁Father: Ahadi of The Pride Lands (Deceased)
🦁Mother: Uru of The Pride Lands (Deceased)
🦁Siblings: Mufasa (Older Brother - Deceased)
🦁Pet/s: Pride Rock houses many different lions within an underground holding cell for the games that all see Scar as their alpha. On top of this, Scar can most times be seen with a lion or two at his side wherever he goes. He gives them no names and treats them more as tools than as pets, however.
🦁Other: Scar believes his fiance to be dead, as well as his nephew, Simba. He keeps his brother's wife, Sarabi, as a trophy and beds her often as well as keeping her his slave. Sarabi's brother, Cassim, has not been seen for many years

🦁Biography:
Born the second of two brothers to a King, Scar was brought into the world with hatred. His mother died giving birth to him, leaving King Ahadi outraged and blaming Scar for her death, thusly giving him the name he so deserved - Garbage. His older brother Mufasa, was the heir to the throne leaving Taka "second best" for the rest of his youth.

The boys never got along - always fighting with one another and causing mischief but Taka's "rough housing" became more and more dangerous as the years went on. Even at the age of six, when the noble house of Kiburi gave birth to a child destined to be betrothed to Taka, his interest did not waiver. When Taka was able to comprehend what jealousy was, he knew for certain that he wanted to be King, giving no interest in what was supposed to be his future - only what he wanted it to be. Despite his constant pleas to his father, the only way Taka would become the true King is if Mufasa died. So that's what Taka aimed for.

Now teenage boys, both being trained profusely in their father's army, they managed to slip away from their duties and went out to play. Taka purposefully lead his brother into a trap to "play a game." Leaving Mufasa for just a moment, Taka went to find an antelope herd and started to throw rocks at them, herding them into stampeding towards his brother however in an unexpected turn of events, Taka became trapped and got mixed in with the herd, getting seriously injured and giving him a deep scar across his eye.

With more than just his pride wounded, Taka then took up the name Scar as a constant reminder that he needed to plan more accordingly rather than to just improvise... a mistake he never made again. The years went on and the boys grew into men. Scar's betrothed, now a woman, was his own small effort to take away his obsessive thoughts of murdering his brother and was distracted by the task of trying to create a family. However, when Mufasa become King at the young age of twenty-five (Scar now twenty) due to an "unforeseeable death" in the family, the jealousy returned to Scar as he bitterly rose to become Mufasa's war general and not to take his father's place as King.

It was only one year later when Scar decided that he had, had enough and went rogue with his brother's soldiers, using his quick wit and manipulation skills to turn them against their King. There was one among them, however, that didn't take to Scar's manipulation. A young man named Simba - Mufasa's seven-year-old son. So on the night of the rebellion, Simba slipped away in time to warn his father. With the plan thwarted, Scar was ultimately caught and was thrown into prison. He was completely cut off from the world, forced to spend months to himself in madness until his execution day.

Brought before the block at the young age of twenty-two, Scar was shown mercy by his brother and was instead exiled from the land. Ripped from his fiance (as they never got the chance to marry), Scar was forced to leave his only home. Once exiled, Scar was desperate to find power wherever he could get it to return home and stumbled upon a sorcerer by the name of Rothbart. Practically demanding power, Scar's quick temper and ill tongue got him into trouble and had a curse put upon him instead, pulling out the beast inside of Scar of the true monster he was inside. Rothbart eventually changed him back, letting him know then and there that so long as he has hatred in his heart, the beast inside would remain. Furious, Scar was forced back to his desolate home to think upon Rothbart's words, trying to devise a way to break the curse set upon him.

He began to send letters; anything and everything he could do to contact his fiance. Finally, after months of waiting, Scar got a reply. Though it wasn't from his fiance, Kiara, but her sister, Zira. Zira replied in her letter that she was willing to meet with Scar though with understanding that it had to be outside the Kingdom of The Pride Lands. A few more letters back and forth and a few months later, Scar set out to their designated meeting place where he could finally get some answers.

When Zira and Scar finally met in secret, Zira told Scar the unfortunate news that after he had been exiled, Kiara tried going after him - only to have the Wildes take her life shortly after as she was not prepared. Devastated, and driven by an animalistic rage he had yet to tame within himself, Scar lost all sense of who he was and snapped Zira's neck just before turning into the beast Rothbart had cursed him into. When Scar woke up the next morning without even so much as a memory to what he had done, surrounded by disembodied limbs and covered in the blood of his fiance's sister and small handful of guards, Scar wept. He knew his only chance for redemption was to make amends with his brother as Rothbart had told him. With his fiance dead, and her sister's blood on his hands, he had nothing more to lose. He had no one else to love.

Picking himself back up, Scar washed himself from any life he had ever had hopes of having and returned home to Pride Rock and with a little bit of aid from Maleficent, Killed his brother, but not before Simba slipped away to surely be killed within the Wildes.

Scar has been King now for over thirteen years, ruling with an iron fist and the strongest army within the entire world. He beds many women including his brother's wife, but has yet to show any interest in marrying any of them - as though the thought had been stripped away from him completely the moment he heard that Kiara was dead.
