Hello Internet.
My name is Valiant and this is my first post seeking a role play partner in this guild. Please be patient with me as I work with new post styles and feel free to provide gentle reminders if I do anything incorrectly. I also apologize if the length of this post scares anyone. I don't bite!
More About Me:
I am 24 years of age, non-binary.
Most people would consider me a "young professional." I work quite a bit and am going to grad school.
I have many, many years of role play experience, but have been out of commission for about 2 years. I am hoping to dive back in, because I love it.
About my Role Play Style:
- I am somewhere between a casual role player and advanced. I am aware that the ebb and flow of a dialogue and interaction between characters can affect the length and tone of writing. I am not looking for perfection, but I would prefer someone who challenges me a bit, who also won't mind my rustiness at times. That being said, I will be putting my full effort into every post.
- I have flagged this topic as "18+" so please be aware and be the appropriate age.
- None of my role plays are romance based. Almost always will they have a dense plot and a plethora of details. That being said, I absolutely do not shy away from romance scenes. I just prefer that we take our time, and allow our characters to interact naturally.
- Usually each post I type up is run through a word processor before being submitted, but I am human and do make mistake from time to time. I promise to try and keep them to a bare minimum.
- I will always play a male character. My preference is that you also play a male character. I will gladly step in with side characters that are female when pertinent. I feel most comfortable playing males.

Potential Role Play Topics:
Fallout/Detroit AU
In the year 2299, all of America seems to be recovering from the war. The foliage is thriving with new life, the mutated fauna have been well maintained and culled by the Brotherhood of Steel, and androids still seem to be struggling to acquire their equality. Due to the hostile nature of both the governing offices of Detroit and the AI hating Brotherhood, many androids (Synths, as the New England-ers call them) remain in hiding, fearful for their lives. News of the android revolution in Detroit has made it's way south, although terror and violence against cybernetic life is at an all time high, keeping many "closeted" Synths in hiding. Canada's newly implemented Synthetic Equality Laws have made large settlement cities such as Vancouver and Toronto popular pilgrimage destinations. For those willing to make the journey, Railroaders remain key allies in assisting and sheltering freedom-seeking androids from devastation.
- For this role play, I would love to play an android making the Vancouver Pilgrimage. The entire role play is based around the journey, many of the destinations, and dark, life altering secrets. We can discuss further if this piques any interest. I am more than open to fresh ideas and anything to help fully flesh out a decently long term plot. Please expect gore, crass language, horrific monster battles, politics, run down buildings, radiation poisoning, and other post apocalyptic nonsense.
Werewolf Murders
When a young woman disappears, the local small town cops turn quickly to her ex-boyfriend, adamant that he has something to do with it. The man vehemently refuses any knowledge of her last whereabouts, claiming he hasn't spoken to her in years. At the same time, a plague like illness seems to be spreading through the local town, showcasing some bizarre symptoms. It seems that men all over the rural town are experiencing sudden bouts of insomnia, intense episodes of explosive anger, frequent nose bleeds, photophobia, and an intense desire to consume raw meat. The illness is nicknamed 'Lycanthropy' by the media, and soon the town is under scrutiny of the entire country. A cop and the accused begrudgingly work together, trying to uncover anything that may reveal what's really going on here. The young woman is eventually found, dead, her body in an alarming state...
This plot is a twist on werewolf fantasy. I would like to keep some details a surprise to the willing role player who steps forward into my somewhat loosely fabricated plot idea.
What to expect: dark rooms, violence, death, gun fights, and well, mystery. This plot is not fully fleshed out. Please feel free to add more ideas and concepts.
