A man who held an impulse, another voice within him that sought to waylay him.
A man who held a great passion and obsession.
That is the tale of the man who did good and evil in the story of Notre Dame. A man who cannot truly be called evil, who cannot truly be called good. In a sense he is a man who lost his purity when he met the woman who evoked maddening passion in him. It was a woman who waylaid Caster. Yet the potential for madness and evil was always something that lurked within. A man who did good, who resisted the devil and that voice.
Yet in the end he failed.
Background:
The famous Archdeacon from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. A troubled and yet pious man. Despite the high position as a man of faith he engaged in heretical practices and became a great magus along with a priest. Quasimodo himself was in fact a homunculus, created from a perished gyspy babe that he attempted to save and nurse to health. Such a sad ending moved the man, and in an act of both hubris and compassion, Clade Frollo went beyond to try and overcome his failure.
As such he made a homunculus, as such he raised a boy as his son. A homunculus has physical defects, and the genetic material of the gypsy boy was not that of a healthy child in the first place. Abandoned to die.
Yet as long as he lived it would be okay.
Even if their lives together ended in tragedy, even if passions drove men to sin and death.
It was not wrong to pick up that child. It was okay to create life.
The story of Notre Dame is well known, and his life held an overwhelming madness and tragedy to capstone a life of hardship.
Memories of the times that warmed his heart and provided the reason he resisted those impulses throughout his life are faint. Yet they linger, the tempering influence to the man ruined by passion who so single-mindedly pursues one obsession.

Knowledge of various church secrets, culture spheres in depth and inklings of dark theories hide within Servant Caster. A rank Numerology, various church sacraments, magecraft, and even a few spells of amazing high thamaturgy are included in this knowledge. However, using this knowledge seems to evoke certain memories in Caster, and cause a degradation in the purity of his existence.
At a certain point a collapse/sublimation of Casters ego may occur and a alteration of his saint graph will happen.
It could be said to be one of the main reasons of Caster's fall to his passions. Yet he is not blameless himself.
Mixed in are his own varied studies on various forms of alchemy, and magecraft. Yet in truth a man such as himself would not have been able to learn enough to become a full-fledged Caster without this knowledge he inherited.

Seemingly ironic due to his tale of his fall due to love and desire. Caster is the tale of a man of virtue ruined by passion. Yet the truth is that there is more to his tale. An impulse, another “him” whispered to Caster to take and murder, to take the stage as a ******, and pursue his obsession (Esmerelda).
An impulse, another him that wasn’t him. Something that had taken root and was part of Caster from his birth, having marked him, was manifesting.
Yet Caster was a man who was nothing if determined and pious. His passions and morality were two blazing flames that waged a battle within him, burning him to ash. Yet it was a twin set of flames, one that combated abnormality with abnormality.
An compromised break to maintain Caster as an identity. It is not a divine protection that comes as a power or blessing from a higher existence/godly source, but rather a purity of the mind and body born from his beliefs.
Resolution of Obsession C:
Destructive love, passionate love. To desire a certain Gypsy girl was the drive and ruin of Caster. A passion that united both the ****** and man in a single-minded pursuit. The girl was an existence that must be had by Caster, the girl was an existence that he hated, that he loved.
A girl burned onto the soul that is remembered beyond death. The feelings that Caster holds is complex. Hatred for the loss of his virtue (purity) the need to see her, the need to pursue her, the need to bring her death.
Caster loved the gypsy girl.

It is the desperate wish of those who are unable to reach perfection, enlightenment or saintliness for salvation that is born of a similar line of thought that led to the childish belief and act of branding and forcing the burden of all the evils of the world to another to absolve one of sin. Following the childish belief that the lack of evil is good, and shaped by the act of pursuing purity as a faithful of god, attempting to strive for an ideal that cannot be human but is instead dictated by the divine.
A crystallization of Caster’s obsessions and struggle between them and his desire to be a good man of god sublimed into a Noble Phantasm.
While it is called hellfire in truth it is more a passive Noble Phantasm that applies an attribute to his magecraft, leaving it akin to righteous flames that would consume Notre Dame if not contained.
The attribute of Judgement is applied to the magecraft of Caster. The effect is similar in a vein to the Baptismal Rites of the Church, being a rejection of that which is recognized as wrong or sinful in the eyes of god. Those that are evil, those that are not human, and so on.
Furthermore with a true name release the true namesake of the Noble Phantasm is evoked. A punishing flame with flames as heated as his passions is unleashed in a unforgiving tide. A grand sorcery in the form of a Noble Phantasm.

General Magecraft: A proper education as befits a modern magus has been taught to Asheckalva.
Kabbalism: A magical system based off assigning value to letters. Asheckalva is able to utilize the three different kabbalist systems to shorten commands and thereby control many golems. Utilization of numerology, and the creation of golems.
Golem-making: Creation of golems. A magical construct that originates in Kabbalah, namely in the creations of Solomon ibn Gabriol, also known as Avicebron. A golem is created via using jewels as organs, parchment as skin, and mercury as binding. Other materials such as a magus for the core, a covering of stone, and the like are also considerations. They are doll-type familiars, similar to puppets but more machine-like in their nature.
The skill of the Zabolruju is among the best in the modern world. While they were a family that was always good at their craft, it was said that improvements to their designs and craft were made after one of their previous heirs met and made friends with a certain vampire. Even to this day some form of a friendship exists between the Zabolruju and the one who is the master of the many Demon Castle Golems. Their focus in particular grants their golems a certain unique facet and in a way it could be said that their business is that of creating terminals of holiness.
Utilizing Torah Scrolls, their golems hold the property of being an Ark/Holy Ground. As such they hold a property of being conceptual weapons that impose the laws of god upon contact. A far cry from the Ark of the Covenant that holds a taboo that destroys any that touches it. However they are indeed superior to more common conceptual armaments like the Keys of Providence of the church. Although most importantly for the pursuits of the Zabolruju they are a construct that enshrines/hosts holy things/energy.
Furthermore like the Black Keys of the church there is an Zabolruju art of creating golems. A mixture of things based on church sacraments, and Avicebron’s own magecraft. Although they are temporary constructs instead of the permanent constructs that golems normally are. Creation of golems through running magical energy through a Torah Scroll is possible.
Various configurations and templates are possible to be utilized in the creation of golems through the means of different parts of the Torah. Through this attribute it is also possible for the golems to shapeshift.
Seraphim: The act of creating Angels. Or rather the act of making golems into angels.
The idea of an angel can be said to be vague. Yet it is a mystery that is firmly believed within and one of the most stable foundations that exist in the modern world.
Beings of "fire" and heat. Beings that bring light and knowledge. They are an holy power and energy that uplifts and brings one closer towards god. Upwards, just as heated air rises. Energy that is pure and brings clarity. By making a perfect Seraphim the Zabolruju hope to create a golem that is more than just a golem. Rather they wish to both create a higher-dimensional terminal. Further connecting the Root with the throne of heaven, it is only natural for a Seraphim to lead to it. A Seraphim in the form of a golem. A connection to wisdom, a connection to truth, a connection to god and a connection to death. Such is their path to the root, such is the way they will reach the truth of all.
As the golems are Arks (places where holiness dwells and is contained) It is possible to imbue golems with the concept of angels and uplift them, giving them abilities/properties of an angel One could say it is a parallel to the great work that a certain philosopher and golemmaker attempted to bring forth with a golem that receive the blessings of the earth. In this case the golems themselves are the blessing of the heavens.
While the true enshrinement of a bonafide higher-order being has yet to occur, the fact that they could manage a pale shade of an imitation means that these golems are of a class that are hard to match if given the same amount of time and size, even in the hands of a great genius.
Furthermore due to the property of being that which guides man and brings knowledge, it is possible to use them as the base of clairvoyance,
As the main toil of the family, three golems passed down as heirlooms, and as the great work of their line are the treasures of the Zabolruju. Holding value equal, if not exceeding a magus’s magic crest. The blueprints of these three golems, and the three golems themselves are of a priceless value.
They are naturally not at a completed state, but they continue to gain mystery and are further improved generation after generation. In a sense the comparison to a magic crest is more than apt, being the built up work of generation after generation.
Certainly by the definition of a magus, these golems are undoubtedly angels (vessels of power)

Personality: An individual who is without doubt an optimist. Believing in the future, believing in the work of his family, and believing in his own future and success he is a man who does not worry. As one who has been able to contribute to his family's project and help improve their golem designs for the future, and one who has managed to manage his finances to establish a continued good fortune for his descendants... He could be said to be a magus who looks to the future. It is not as if he sacrifices the present, but rather than a magus who looks only nostalgically towards the past he is a sort who awaits the next passing day with interest.
However he is also a sort who is eccentric in how he deals with people. Golems are pleasant, golems are very listening. People he considers difficult are people he does not wish to deal with. In a sense he considers surface level friendships, and light-ties the best.
The main exception is a certain vampire he continues to write letters to, and occasionally is visited by.
Background:
A family of Jewish Golemmakers that date from eight centuries before. While of course to be a magus is to choose a different path from those who follow god, there is still a respect for the Judaic traditions. In a sense they could be called similar to those heretics who are followers of Christian faith while being magi themselves.
Differing from the man who wished to create a utopia and sublimate mankind and the world into paradise (Eden). The Zabolruju aim for the origin of all things by attempting to create a golem that brings the truth within death. A word-play brought by inverting the meanings of the words used to animate and stop a Golem. To remove a letter from truth is to turn it into death.

With the political climate in Germany, and the various happenings, events such as the Kristallnacht already occurring. The cruelty of the Nazi regime when it comes to the treatment of the Judaic people was not perhaps something unheard of, yet a terrible plight.
Having heard of the contest held by the man known as Dr M, and also of the interest of the Nazis in the relic on offer. It was not surprising that Asheckalva chose to merge self-interest and his desire for the good of his own people into one and become a competitor.
