If anyone wants to have say previously met Gin feel free to PM me.

Also as a note to all if anyone wants to help me work out each tier skill individually PM me, as.... well I'm having a really hard time keeping things balanced and not OP and just generally skills overall. Sub-tiers aren't a problem as they are unique to each player, but tiers are soo. Little help? Plus I've never done something like this before.

Race
Kitsune
Like many legends and myths, the Kitsune is a unique and rather rarely seen race within the word of NTO. Normally living within cold environments and temple like area's, the Kitsune are a strange bunch. They enjoy interacting with others and are generally very playful and prideful creatures, they also seem to be very protective of what is theirs and anyone special to them. They also tend to either travel alone or in small groups of up to six at one time, either for safety or simply companionship. Player's gain the ability to change into a true Kitsune, or fox as some call them. In this state the player is unable to attack or defend and is mainly used for travelling quickly, when in this state the player gains +100 to agility but - 100 to all other stats (apart from Vitality). The player is able to remain in this state for as long as need be and may change back at any time. Alongside this full transformation, a half transformation can be done. Allowing the user to have the ears and tail of a fox on their bodies, the color of which is decided by the player's hair color, this can also be turned off at the whim of the user. When playing as the Kitsune race, like other animals, the player gains enhanced senses, allowing them to see further and in the dark, as well as pick up on things other races may not notice. When playing as the Kitsune race, player's gain +10 Agility and +5 to Resistance. In every sub-class regarding entertainment/movement, Kitsune gain 50 points of mastery.

This class combines the best of both attack types—physical and magical, especially after incorporating powerful arcane art of the player's choice, this provides much better utility in combat, providing ranged combat, but with the added function of causing splash magic damage alongside with swordplay and hand to hand combat in a perfect unison.

Appearance
Standing at a tall 6'4'', Gin is known as a tall man for his age. Because he appears to physically be someone within his early twenties the fact that he is within his late twenties surprises many who find out. Thus for his age and also despite it, Gin is unusually thin and tall with very sharp features, giving him a somewhat skeletal appearance. Added to this fine silver hair that seems to resemble and even feel like fine silk, which many people either hate or are strangely drawn to. Nor is this helped by the narrowed eyes that remain in such a state constantly, giving no idea as to their color to any outsider, save for an odd flicker of crimson hidden underneath silver lashes. When compared to others in terms of general appearance, most say Gin appears to look similar to a fox or kitsune; due to the ever present smile he holds upon his expression; putting many around him from approaching him. Moving onwards Gin isn't overly toned for his age many would say just the right amount, but he's no wimp when comparing physical fitness either. Described by many as ‘tall but lanky’, he seems to fit this description very well. Arms toned from years upon years of working with a blade and martial arts, legs of the same type although adding more height than the rest of his body. The same toned structure also applies to his torso, although not bearing a full on six pack like many others around these days, he isn't anything to scoff at either. Yet all of this mostly remains hidden beneath various clothing materials. In terms of clothing, Gin remains to be a fairly ordinary individual, however, he has shown a slight dislike of tight and restrictive clothing, which he seems to avoid like the plague. It’s rare to see any kind of accessories on this male’s person. From this it seems that the elder doesn't have a style as such, preferring things to be quite plain and simple as much as possible. In terms of comparison to his real self, both Shin and Gin are almost exactly the same, save for a few minor details which are mainly effected by Shin's former day to day life.

Personality
Sly, mocking and secretive are a few words that many speak of when regarding this young man. As his real self, he seems to be slightly more withdrawn to those around him, this not being the case to all but a handful of people. Although he isn't a hermit and doesn't hide away, he won't go out of his way to talk to random strangers he meets, unless of course they prove to be interesting to him. Both within his real life and the life he has come to know, Gin is never the type of person to show his emotions. Yes, he displays emotion, but only the ones he wishes others to see, which is never very much. When with a crowd of people, he can be seen talking quite happily and never appears to lose the cheerful, mocking and sarcastic tone that carries through with each word spoken, despite making everyone else in the room uncomfortable he doesn't seem to care. It is this way of speaking that makes it almost impossible to discern his thoughts, nor does he allow his body language to give anything away either. It seems Gin also never care for other's opinions, either dismissing them or ignoring them entirely to simply carry on with what it was he was doing previously.

Life is a game, and games should be fun! To Gin everything is a new chance, a new opportunity to do something fun or unexpected in life. You only get one life so why not make the most of it? Gin possesses a fun-loving and sometimes childish personality, making others sometimes dispute his age and sanity as well, but if life's not fun to him, then it's not a life worth living. Like everything else about this young man, normal is not something this man is often described as, which is shown by his eccentric way of viewing the world and how things work, seeing many things and opportunities that would have otherwise never been found. Despite that Gin seems to have that rare gift of finding trouble wherever he goes, and that includes getting others into trouble be it good or bad. Gin is also a natural wanderer by nature, and thus must be allowed to come and go as he pleases. He'll almost always come back if it's somewhere important, if not, well good luck finding him anytime soon.

When alone this young man appears to enjoy reading or simply lounging around doing nothing. When with nothing else to do, Gin could be found doing one of four things, reading, sleeping, wandering or just generally causing mischief if he's in a playful mood. Whatever he does and wherever he goes, this young man remains calm no matter the situation and within his forced time so far in NTO, he has never lost his temper and doesn't plan to either, this makes things easy for him to rile others. With faked polite manner and overly cheerful way of talking, it's easy to annoy others while he remains perfectly calm, this seems to help when Gin wishes to tease others and has also come in very handy during battle as well. Most things this man does or has done recently has been done on impulse, on his feelings at the time, not that he doesn't think things through. He does, greatly, having been known to sit for most of the day just thinking or trying to work something important out. If nothing else, he seems to be very determined and when a goal is set, very few may even attempt to change his mind on the matter. Overall there is very little difference between Gin and Shin, save for a few minor details and that's how Gin plans to keep things; he hopes so anyhow.

History
Alone... so alone. Shin doesn't speak about his life prior to the age of seventeen, too many bad memories. A few are good, but many are ones he wishes to keep locked away forever, so he never speaks of his 'childhood', if you could call it that. Despite this, Shin's first experience with NTO was not what many would expect, not a hardcore gamer, not from lack of sheer boredom, although he had been getting pretty close. And even the add fact that he was a fully grown adult and had been for quite a while. But from a silly bet made with a friend, both he and this so called friend at the time entered the game, that was a year ago. Now after that one day inside the game, which to be quite frank Shin found quite boring, despite playing something not suited to his own play style and something he thought would have been at least slightly challenging. Not at all. The Japanese born male after that simply continued on with his life as per normal, although not selling the copy of the game, or anything to do with it, it left untouched for many many months. Until six months ago.

From sheer boredom and also a break in work allowed Shin to give this game a last try, little did he know it wouldn't be his last for quite a while. Making an entirely new character based now off his own self, he saw that with updates newer classes had been added. One a 'Elemental Avenger', interested that was what he chose. At the end of that day, Shin's perspective had changed slightly, and he had decided to play a second day. But what happened when he woke up the next morning, well.... it wasn't exactly normal, but he'd heard of weirder stories. Unlike many he didn't freak out, knowing it was most likely better to gain some levels before trying to work things out, and that was exactly what he did. Six months later he has still remained as a Solo Player, only knowing a few people and rarely speaking to anyone unless he had to recently. At the moment, as usual, it's unclear if Gin really wants to return home or remain in NTO. Only time will tell with that one.

Other
> Gin is ambidextrous.
> Gin seems to hold an accent of some kind (Kansai Dialect), that of which seems to have carried over from his real world self.
> Gin is fluent in Japanese, Chinese, English, Italian, French & Spanish.

Other: Inu x Boku SS is my favorite anime. Well.... that and Bleach.
Well that works~

Now we just need to wait and see your revisions of the class mastery level Shiho-sama~

Umm, yeah, you're right..... So, let's just stay with the classes and let the classes define the strengths and weaknesses of our characters? What do you think of that? As in, a Guardian has great resistance and an Archer has great accuracy, and things like that.

That would mean classes like my specialist are screwed over >.> because they are not good at one certain thing, it all depends on weapon type and a player's taste. Sooo.

edit: unless you play to rid the stats for the simple cs and keep for advanced?
I kinda like the tier thing, it helps separate levels and abilities~ Plus I'm working on my class now soooo~ and Charak, nice ideas~

Edit: I say we keep it as it. Maybe leave this CS as the advanced, and make another version for a simpler CS without or with less of the tier's?

@LokiLeo; Well, the first one, as long as it sticks to defense abilities and 1 or 2 attack abilities, I wouldn't see that much of a problem, but for the second one... To be honest, I'm not quite sure, the whole 'Incorporeal' thing makes me a bit skeptical, tbh. Maybe, if you can work it out in another way, maybe it'd be more acceptable. Maybe, 'Can only control low level mobs' or things like that. @YuukiSuzuki; Hum..... Maybe like a Yui in SAO? A kind of 'Counseling Program'?

Kinda yeah, but only not able to destroy everything or be like Yui in terms of power, more of simply being there and then able to change back into weapons when required of them?
Hebigami Shiho said
You had a better idea at that than I. -w- Well, anyhow, I think that's okay, for the class. Hmm, I think I understand better now, what you wanna say is that an A.I. could come into play when the character is not in battle, regarding the classes?

Yay~ Thank you~ *now thinks of how to write all this up......*

And yes, perhaps when not in battle, these A.I come to life appearing as actual people with personalities that somewhat link to the user. Then when in battle disappear back into the normal form they are used in? Might make things more interesting~ Either just for certain classes or everyone, or maybe it's a function that players can turn on and off?

You guys are so brimming with ideas! I like it a lot! Then, let's see here.....Well, for your first idea, I don't think there's too much of a problem with that, just that the sub-weapon would get a lot less abilities than the main weapon, as in, you'd have lots of sword abilities, like say, 10, but you'd have like 3 or 4 for the gun. That's what I think, though, ask for some more advice with your fellow roleplayers. Hmm, I see where you are coming from here. Like, some kind of special weapon? Maybe from an event or something, or maybe made with a blacksmith with special ores or so. Maybe, updating it should be through events too or using other kinds of special ores, I mean, maybe? xDUmm.... Yeah! (Didn't quite understand that last one, could you elaborate?)

Not sure if I made it clear enough. But the abilities thing for the weapons are fine it's more what they can and can't do.

With the class 'Specialist' as I will call them for now, if you pick the class, you pick a weapon type at the very start of the game. Say a bladed weapon like a Katana or Wakizashi, those are the only weapons you may use (besides unarmed obviously), until a higher level. With this special ability I said about. You would get one ability at the start, perhaps chosen by questions answered when you made your character, or choices given to you after a weapon choice. That one ability is all you get to start, that's it. Nothing else. However, as you gain levels that ability can grow. For example say you can create a second blade as your special ability gain from this weapon (just a random one here, ask me if you want me to give the example of what I actually plan). As you grow you could create more, and as you get a class change/upgrade choice (based on your weapon chosen, say from a specialist to a blade specialist) that ability could be expanded upon even further for example if able to create a second blade, maybe able to combined the two blades together to form one? and once you gain that second upgrade, only then could you could into say normal abilities like everyone else. Thus the reasoning for a hard class.

And yes the event/ore thing works, due to the special nature of the weapon I'd say so yes.

Would have said due to the weapons being created with the players own aid, perhaps an A.I element could be used for when not in battle? But that might be me going tooo far~ anyhow. Does that make more or less sense?
Shiho-sama~

Just wondering if you or any Co-GM would look over this to give advice, as well as anyone else. it's all welcomed~ http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/64070/posts/ooc?page=5#post-1995881
