1. I'm in school to become a physical therapist assistant! (Did it!)

2. I will quit any roleplay that has been inactive IC for one month for any reason. I've been in too many Schrodinger's RP's and I'm not doing that anymore.

I'm not sure if Alexis is participating, either. So it's actually kind of convenient that they ended up fighting each other.

Sorry everyone, I had a draining weekend at LARP and my storytelling skills are still not in top shape.

Attendants are there to tell avatars where to go for their battles, answer their questions, etc. There will also be an official, public announcement right before each battle.

Most of the people allowed near the area are volunteers of some sort. About eight medics for each arena, a handful of cameramen and other tech people, two announcers in the commentator's booth, two refs for each arena, and about fifteen other volunteers helping everything run smoothly (ideally :P). There are also about fifteen sponsors and public figures watching in the audience. All these numbers are humans and do not include any Pokemon these people may have. Each person has no more than one Pokemon out right now.

Everything is in one massive, cavernous room. A large but not completely floor-to-ceiling wall separates the two battlefields. You couldn't see the other battle unless you flew or something, but you could probably hear it. The area is shaped sort of like a bowl, so the audience can look down and see both arenas.
Looks like the rng came up with some interesting matchups. And I wasn't expecting Emry to make it far... but I was hoping for less of a brutal curbstomp. ^_^"

ALSO...

Week 25!

Eklispe, Sickle-cell, Rethel34, Leos Klien, and Thundercrash posted this week!

But I'll do the drawing tomorrow. My brain is too tired to figure out a prize right now. :P

@Thundercrash, don't forget you won a yes-or-no question, which you must use before July 1.

Since Wells dropped out, all the battles will be 1v1. Titanpads will be up this evening.
"And don't forget I'll be here for you, Emry," Solomon commented, both Avatars seemingly having a telepathic conversation at the same time. "Whether you want me to step in or not. Your safety is more important than the rules of any game."

Emry nodded to Solomon. Under her mask, she smiled sympathetically at the Corphish, who seemed to be offended by Kaze's latest remark.

"He's not bothering me," the girl said. "Now that I think of it, my Pokemon companion tends to wrangle me more than the other way around... I guess we sort of have it topsy-turvy. Do your Pokemon have nicknames? His name is Solomon."

As she gestured, the Aura Pokemon nodded his head as a polite greeting.
A few things...

#1 Addendum to the tournament rules: Whenever the rules say you may attack, you may choose to use a legendary ability instead.

#2 Due to the uncertainty of some participants, we may have to retcon battles in order to rearrange match-ups so that PCs are the heavy majority of the competitors. I'm really sorry about this one, but it's hard to be certain who's still in this RP after the long hiatus. We'll try this more structured battle style in the mainly PvP tournament and see how we like it.

#3 Titanpads for the battles will be up on Sunday or Monday evening, depending on how exhausting my weekend is. I'll be busy this weekend, so I'll see you guys on Sunday.

#4 I might post again for Emry later today, but no guarantees.
No, you have to sign up in the basement. Rebeca should still have time, but she'll be cutting it close.
@ThundercrashJust keep in mind that the tournament will start soon, and Rebeca might miss it if she doesn't get to the basement.
Pros: Gain one level, kill an arrogant god
Cons: Become imprisoned in the mind of a human who might become physically imprisoned
It's a toss-up.
Giratina/Germaine won a battle against Xerneas!

Germaine (only him, not his team) earns one level!

Sorry this took so long. I had to relocate my rules to determine whether or not Kaze should level-up, too. I determined that Kaze was fighting on the side of peace, and clearly, peace lost. Sorry, Rethel.
