Ability: Kai despite not having the powers of a devil fruit seemingly has shown that she has no need for one, being able to go head to head with some and even win. She is quite amazing at simply using martial arts to fight, although she does use brass knuckles so her punches are more effective. With her light frame, her speed is quite fast enough to rival some marine members a few ranks above her.

Her training in the Martial arts over the years helped her greatly when it came to patience and predicting what the opponent might possibly as an attack. It also helped her to be more on her guard as well.
Personality: Has a much serious approach to most matters involving Pirates, as she feels their treachery has no bounds and all need to be executed no matter how small their crimes have been. If she saw a pirate flag even if all they did was get in a scuffle with some townsfolk, she would feel the justly cause of punishment should be death. To this decree, she has a hard time listening to some orders that come from her higher ups, if they tell her to retreat from certain pirates. Or to let them go. She has shown to be kind to her fellow Marines, while if she meets a Pirate she has shown a much more hostile approach even terrifying some of the lower ranking members.
Bio: Hating pirates at a young age, Kai found every aspect of them repulsive. And when her town kept getting robbed by pirates on a monthly routine, that hate of hers only grew larger for them. One month however, Marines were hiding in the town waiting and lurking for when the Pirates again did their raid, and like an animal, they fell right into their trap. This caused quite the big fight, with casualties on all sides, even some civilians got killed. One being her big brother, it was at this point that she wouldn’t stop until all pirate scum was eradicated. After a few hours the Pirates were all defeated yet Kai took the opportunity and in which joined the Marines at a young age. She spent countless years learning every aspect of Martial arts that she could learn. All in which to take out any pirates she came across.
