He is unseated, he is former omnitsukido. I apologize but this was a rushed CS and i admit i didnt explain enough in detail. His zanpakuto sucks/gathers whatever it is touching at the time and pressurizes it against the blade making it compact. Now air would be the easiest since its always around, thus it would be faster to gather. If the blade were stuck in the ground as he activated his ability it would be covered in dirt/rock/stone. However this would take longer and the blade would be heavier but stronger. It all depends on what the blade is touching.1.) Gather: Rikudo's ability activates, sucking in and pressurizing whatever is physically touching the blade, making a compact layer around the knife, thickening the blade 4 inches.2.) Refine: Rikudo intensifies the pressure, compacting what it has gathered, making it harder. (Air turning solid)3.) Shape: Rikudo shapes the pressure to form the shape of what it has gathered, making it longer, wider, or sharper. He can only do one at a time. (Range max at 4 feet)4.) Condense: Rikudo maximizes its "grip" on what it has gathered completely compressing it. This forces whatever it has gathered completely together making it even harder at the cost of shorter range. (Water becoming strong enough to cut solid steel)5.) Release: Rikudo releases the gathered material at a target. Depending on how Rikudo changed it and the material was gathered, the effects could vary. Chie just scoffed at what he said. "Nice sentiment, but that won't get you far against enemies. Also I know for a fact hitting first wont get me the win. I did nothing but hit this one guy, and he let all of them hit on purpose." She then smirked and shook her head at the last bit of what he said as he watched him dodge the kido blast, when he started to run toward her dodging all the kido blast she took a better grip on her Zanpakuto, and when he moved past her she swung her sword back blocking the shot aimed at her neck. She grinned as her shikai then lit on fire. "Hope you don't mind if the battle gets a little hot." She grined as the entire blade was now on fire. She pushed him back but dashed forward at him taking her own swing at his body.

"More dangerous looking, well aren't you just full of charm. Although I will agree, she looks composed, but she is far from it." She said, as she watched him give room between the two, which caused her grin to get bigger. "However, making room between you and Suu~ifutosunēku, is not wise in the slightest." She then put the tip of her zanpakuto in the ground,a nd looked at him with a smile for a minute then waved at him. "Should have attacked." Just then the gems on the hilt begun to shoot out kido blast at a fast rate.
