Emilia nodded to the boy and followed him near a boat, judging by its appearance it was a pirate's boat, but at the moment, she couldn't have cared less. She saw three men talking and approached them. She waited for them to finish talking and as one of them man left, she adressed the one who the young boy was referring as Captain Delaney : "Captain, is there sill any room for us on board? " she asked, hoping that they could get on.

As Emilia was trying to go back home she heard a little voice ask her: "What's going on??". A thin frame was looking at her questioningly, she could see the worry in his eyes. The little boy seemed no more than 12, but why was he wandering alone?
"I think we are being attacked" she replied "We need to-" she didn't finish her sentence as she heard a voice yelling: "Everyone! the attack is inland! To the boats!"
She didn't know what to do, should she go to the boat and leave her grandma alone? But was there any point in going back at her home, it was a long walk, and she may have gotten killed on the way. Plus she couldn't just leave this little boy alone. She prayed for God to keep her grandma alive and did what she thought was best to do:
"Let's go" she said with a smile to the little boy as she reached out her hand to him.

~ Near the harbor ~

Emilia was walking toward the harbor excitedly. She hadn't seen her grandpa for weeks already, and even though he has to leave often, she still couldn't get used to it. He promised to bring her new books and art supplies,but even some charcoal was enough to satisfy her. Since she didn't know how long she'd have to wait, she was searching for a sitting spot so that she could kill the time sketching.
The harbor was one of her favourite places, all those boats coming from far away kingdoms and going to new places, the smell of the sea, and all those people preparing for their voyages. She has always wanted to go with her grandpa, but he'd never let her, talking about how dangerous is the sea and such.
She was finally going to sit when she heard a loud bang. It was an explosion, and in a second everyone was running in different directions, people were bumping into her and everyone was screaming. She didn't move, thinking about what to do. Should she go back home and find her grandma or should she just hide somewhere? She chose the first option and ran off to her house.

Personality: Emilia is shy, distant at first, as she is uncomfortable around newly met people. But once she get comfortable, she's cheerful, selfless, and a good listener. She's a good person and loves helping out others. Though she tends to be naive, stubborn and sometimes too lost in her own world to realize what's the reality.

Emilia lost her parents when she was still a baby, so she doesn't remember them. She grew up with her grandparents, her grandpa being a wealthy merchant (but he's in the middle-class) , she had a happy childhood and despite being an orphan, she grew up showered by her grandma's love, who is her motherly figure. She's educated as her grandpa believed it was important and appreciate art and litterature. She loves drawing and canvas painting, and spend most of her time sketching.

Hobbies:Drawing, painting, playing piano, spending time outdoor, reading
