Nybras couldn't help but giggle lightly as the half-dragon walked away. this was all sounding a bit like the old adventure tales he used to read, and still sometimes did for that matter, the thought made him smile lightly as he looked back at the book. 'to help his father...' he thought "...help with what?" he sat back down and looked around the garden

Jay looked up and accepted John's hand and got up. He stumbled for a moment and put a hand on John's shoulder to steady himself "yeah, ack It still hurt though" he said, wincing as he brought his arm back and popped his shoulder back in place "if we got some drones with the new guy that'd be grand" he looked at the Yasumichi and nodded his head as a way of greeting "i think i'm gonna go sit down for a moment" he nodded to the girl as he walked toward his ship, heading up to one of the worktables and clearing of the few things on it before flopping down on his back upon the table.

A Moonlit Hunt

Henryk stood on the path until William returned from the road with a few new hunters in tow, and he assumed that at least one was the owner of the truck. As the group approached he let out a short low growl at the scent of another vampire, the girl he'd returned with. he nodded at them as they passed into the village before looking back to William to answer his question "not to many, there's that girl just behind you..." he pointed behind William just as a the girl approached, calling him John Wayne and asking if he was still accepting hunters. "...and i can smell someone lurking from just out of sight" he said as his eye drifted over the treeline and hand drifted down to his blunderbuss.

Darkness

Nybras sat up quickly, startled by the sudden appearance of the reptilian boy. when he spotted him he stood up a turned to face him, saying "questions? i suppose that's a way to put it. it's more of a curiosity" he held the book against his chest and looked at this stranger, head tilted slightly to the side, his tail swayed behind him as he stepped closer for a better look. The boy was certainly an interesting sight, seeming mostly-human and part-Lizan, or perhaps simply part-reptile. "D-do you know something about it?"

"yeah, I'm sure i can hold on" Nerva said while suppressing a laugh as his brother shifted and tried to climb up his legs, feigning a gasp when he felt a hand brush a sensitive area "Hey now Felice, i know we're close an all but..." He grinned.

A Moonlit Hunt

Henryk leaned against the wall of one of the villages abandoned buildings, eyeing William as he walked past to his usual post. Henryk's arrival a few days ago was meet by William's greeting, the man had assumed Henryk was there to join his hunting group he intended to form here, In truth it was the rumors that he'd been tainted that had drawn him here. He saw that, while William had beast blood in him, it was not as bad as the rumors made it out to be. He wound up staying in the village and soon others followed his arrival. A vampire hunter, Rama, came soon after him, Henryk could smell the vampire blood in him but did do much more about his presence than keep an eye on him. It was yet another Vampire that had arrived after him which drew a similar response from Henryk. A man named Egbert had appeared next, Henryk could recognize the look in that man's eye, that he was out for blood, Henryk had that look himself when his town was destroyed. After him came another human, a girl by the name of Ivory, when she had arrived Henryk's normally stoic expression had turned to one of shocked recognition for a mere second before it reverted back. He remembered her from a few years ago, she and her father had been hunting and had come across him while he was in his lycan form on a hunt of his own. He had tried to get away, having no desire to fight with the two, but they pursued him and in defense he retaliated. The result had left a mortal wound in the girl's father, Henryk fled soon after. She didn't recognize him in his normal form and he thought it better that it remain so...at least for now.

He looked up again when he heard something near the path and saw a truck with no apparent owner at the end of the path by William. He took up his own axe and walked over as Hendrick went up the path to investigate. He glanced inside the truck himself before looking up the path after William as he walked out of sight. He stood at the path on guard listening for anything to approach.

History: Ezikiel grew up as the Heir to a highly influential Inner city family. They had close dealings with the government and he disagreed with much of what he saw, though rather than voice his opinion among the government he took a different route, Revolution, he wanted to overthrow the entire government and take over the Inner Circle. He went around the city to recruit people for this, with either his charisma, influence, or money, once he had some people with his cause he went about the next step, arming them. It turned out to be easier then recruiting, with enough money to get his Revolutionaries armed, and even secure the loyalty of a few smugglers. Now with the manpower and equipment all that was left was to "spark the fire", and they way he did this was to assassinate his own parents, one of the most influential couples in the government gone in a fiery blaze as their limousine was bombed. He did now stop their, mere hours after his parent's assassination several simultaneous raids were conducted on several other government buildings, and soon Ezikiel's Revolution occupied a small area of the city. The government dubbed this area the "Dead Zone", which became the namesake of his revolution, they cracked down hard on the rebels and Ezikiel was forced to retreat to the outer circle where they set up a base among a few of the abandoned buildings. It was after this that he heard of the Young Gods and their own revolution...perhaps he could use them.

While the "Dead Zone Revolution" has only a small number left after retreating to the outer circle, their number is growing, slowly. Though they are half the size of the young gods, they are consider better armed of the two groups and the more violent.
