My power is out. The website for the power company says it won't be restored until 11:30pm. If that's true, there will probably be no IC replies today.

Bio

My timezone is Eastern Standard, in case you need to know that sort of thing. I am very much a nerd, I like videogames and comic books. If you just want to chill and chat with me about videogames and comics, I'm totally down for that. I am more knowledgeable about the DC universe, when it comes to Marvel I know very little. My favorite Superhero is Superman and my favorite Batman villain is Mister Freeze, but I pretty much love all characters in the DC universe. As for video games, I usually stick in the range of anything with a good story. I've played the whole BioShock series, some of the Final Fantasys, both Portal games, all three of the Batman Arkham series and a whole bunch more. Right now I'm working on completing Persona 3 and 4, and Dragon Age Inquisition.

Oh, how is that game? I haven't played anything in the series, but I'm thinking I might start playing those games, because of how much I keep hearing about it.
"It depends on the time of year," Benjamin muttered. "This is normal." He wasn't going to go into detail about what times the store was busy and during what time it wasn't. The store regularly had a few customers come around each day, some people would take this as a place to come after school to sit around quietly and read or do their homework before heading home. The store got particularly busy when the semesters for the college students were starting and ending, and during the winter the shop was a little more busy. Benjamin would even sell hot chocolate to the customers that were staying in the bookstore to read in the quiet bookstore. Benjamin had kept track of when things were going to get busy, so he could stay stocked on the books that needed to be ordered. He even made sure that he kept track of movies based off of books, and made sure that he had more of that particular book in stock when the movie got a lot of attention. He did try to make the customers that did come in satisfied, or at least get the book that they are looking for.
That's absolutely fine, mine's probably going to be short too.
Yay! Are you feeling better?
Benjamin was just about to go back to his book when the next customer walked forward and sat the book down. "Afternoon," He replied to the man as he placed his book down once again. Gladly, there weren't that many people around today, and after this customer was on his way he could go back to his own reading. Though there was quiet a bit more he needed to worry about than just the customers interrupting his reading time. He had to worry about the fact that in a matter of moments the people in this shop could all be in complete danger and none of them knew that. He had to stay alert no matter what time of day it was and getting distracted by the customers that walked in was something that he wasn't so happy about. Not to mention, he didn't exactly like having to interact with so many people in a day. If he had been allowed to do what he had previously planned to do, there wouldn't even be a bookstore around. He didn't have a choice though, the landlord had specifically asked for someone to take control of the shop and keep it running. If there weren't the strange happenings that were going on with this shop, Benjamin wouldn't even be around it.

The store owner took the book and flipped to the back of it to see the price. "It's seven dollars," Benjamin muttered as he pressed in the amount on the cash register. "Will that be cash or credit?"
Mucinex does works wonders, I love that stuff when I get colds.
"Oh, hey, he's back already," Annie smiled spotting Jude walk towards them.

Aiden sighed heavily, he wasn't really looking forward to what this conversation was going to be like. He took a drink from the energy drink that Annie had bought for him and grimaced almost immediately after he finished. He hated the aftertaste that came with all energy drinks he's ever drank, but it would at least give him enough caffeine to make it for another hour or so. For always forcing himself to stay up so late, he did have a lot of issues with the fact that he hated most caffeinated drinks that would help him make it through the next day. He'd probably have to start sucking that up and stop being so picky about something of the sort if it was going to help him stay awake for the rest of the day. He was sure that it was quite unhealthy for him to do be drinking this stuff all the time, but he was pretty sure any caffeine was unhealthy when someone was using it everyday to stay awake. It was an addictive drug after all, and to abuse it wasn't something that Aiden really wanted to get into without making sure he'd completely pushed out every other option, like actually sleeping. Getting a full nights sleep would probably help him out a lot more than the caffeine would.

When Annie realized that Aiden had gone into deep thought again, she rolled her eyes, "Hey, Aiden, wake up."

Aiden took a sharp breath and looked back up at Annie, "Sorry. I...got distracted."

"Yeah, I could tell. Geez, I'd tell you to go take a nap in the lounge, but I'm afraid you'd end up getting your face drawn on again," Annie sighed, "Anyway, Jude, why don't you tell us a bit about yourself."
Oh yeah, Bioshock and BioShock 2 are pretty creepy, since they take place in Rapture. I am completely in love with the idea of that underwater city though, and seeing what it looks like during its prime it's actually quite a beautiful place. BioShock: Infinite is less scary, it takes place outside of Rapture and is a brighter environment making it not as much of a scary game but it has a story that was really powerful and filled with so many plot twists that it just blew my mind after I was done with it.
Yeah, I just played my way through BioShock: Infinite and all of it's DLC. Since I finally got the time to get around to it, but man, I finished that game and I'm really happy I did, but at the same time it left me feeling really alone for some odd reason. Possibly due to how the game ended and how immersed I really got into the game. Anywho, enough about me talking about BioShock. I really hope you feel better, especially if you're on break it, it sucks being sick on break.
