Bio

Hello fellow Guild members. I'm Zmerr. I love to roleplay. I am very loyal to my roleplays and will honestly let you know when or if I have lost interest. In return, I trust that anyone I may be playing with does the same. I play a wide range of settings with the exception of most supernatural themes. I am almost always willing to try new things and love originality. I'm easy-going and I'm not particularly picky about grammar, though I take pride in my own. I can post anywhere from one sentence to ten paragraphs depending on the situation, though I try to keep it in a range of two to five paragraphs.

Also- If I suddenly seem super busy, don't mistake it as a lack of interest. I'm also the leader of a roleplay guild in Guild Wars 2 and often hold meetings and such.

"Good point. It just sometimes strikes me as odd when people who could almost pass as human don't try to blend in in order to survive instead of coming here and risking death." Zmerr shook his head to clear the images of people who had come here to flee the Chipped and died in the process. "I know I would if I looked human." Zmerr looked down at his hands. Three fingers and a thumb that ended in sharp, claw-like points. Black skin almost darker than the night sky. There was no way he'd ever have fit in with the humans. He looked back at the campers. "I might have room in one of the other buildings for all of you, but I am unfortunately out of blankets and pillows. Follow me." He began walking toward the bushy area and motioned for them to follow.
But I'm really frustrated with the game right now so I turned it off.
Sorry, I've been gaming with friends all day and it's been really difficult to get on here and stay long enough to put up a significant post or really read any of the others.
"I might have room for you.... I just need to know why you're here. However, I cannot guarantee you'll like where I put you, as I already have someone staying with me. I realize being Non-human is not easy." Zmerr felt a slight change of heart when he took a good look at the group. They looked tired and hungry. Just as he knew he'd looked his first week or so on the island. "You introduce yourselves first and I will follow suit." He put his pistol down, but not away, as he had seen the man do.
"It was. I had an issue with an intruder." Zmerr looked at the girl. "He got into my home and I needed to get him out. There are others on the island and I strongly recommend a different place to spend the night. This place is no where near safe at night. I've managed to scare away a lot of the little predators, but there are few larger things that I just couldn't shake." Zmerr said, sincerely worrying about the people's safety. He didn't know enough about them to just let them in, so he didn't even bother to tell them about where he lived. He'd had enough visitors for one night.
"I'm Ana." Ana handed Caroline a few blankets. "I'm a bit of a freeze-baby so I always pack extra blankets." She looked at the guy Caroline had talked to. "And who are you?"
"Um, excuse me, Do you mind camping somewhere else or telling me why you chose this particular location? Your talking has interrupted my sleep." Zmerr said, almost sarcastically to the man with the glowing sword. He seemed to be the only one awake. "This place is not safe. It also happens to be my home. What could be so important that you need investigate?"
"Alright. Sounds good. I have some extra blankets and such if you need them." Ana smiled at the girl.
Ana dismissed the commotion as well. She couldn't see anything. It was probably a raccoon or something anyways. She moved towards the center of the camp and began putting her tent together. She heard another girl curse. She looked up at the girl. "Everything okay?"
The scanner came back into the building as silent as it had gone out. Zmerr took it to another room so that it's light wouldn't wake Ren. He pushed the replay button and the room filled with blue light. The light built images of trees and people. In all blue, it was hard to identify if the people were human, but Zmerr had the distinct feeling the weren't. One definitely was a magic user, as his sword seemed to glow, making the rest of the image a little blurry.

Zmerr turned the machine off and went to his bedside. He grabbed his plasma pistol and headed outside to see these newcomers. He was prepared to greet them or kill them if necessary. He came upon the little band of stragglers with his pistol up, ready to be used if need be.
