Hey there!

Not surprisingly, I'm here to look for new writing partners. A little bit about me: I'm a 25-year-old who has been roleplaying for about 10 years now, so I'd say I'm quite advanced in it. I love chatting OOC and making Pinterest boards and hyping up our story and characters; I'd say I'm a really chill partner to write with (please remember this because I know some of the "rules" I have make me sound like a hardass). I have a few themes I'd love to include in my roleplays, which I'll tell you more about in a little bit; first let's take a look at what kind of a writing partner I'm actually looking for.

WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR IN A WRITING PARTNER?

- Someone who can write longer replies. I don't do one-liners, and get easily bored with a roleplay when the replies don't have enough description and something to really sink my teeth into. I'd say the minimum word count of my replies is around 500-ish words and I'm hoping you can match at least this. Often my replies can be anything between 500-1000 words, given there's enough for me to reply to.

- Someone who can bring something to the table as well. I prefer plotting and planning together and both of us bringing forward ideas for the story. I don't particularly enjoy feeling like I'm just telling my partner what we're going to do and them simply agreeing with everything. In the same vein, while we're writing I understand some scenes require the other to follow the lead of the other writing partner, but I'd appreciate both of us being able to bring the story forward and move along, instead of one always dragging the other to the next scene or leading the ongoing scene.

- Someone who doesn't expect daily replies. It can sometimes take me time to reply. I love keeping in touch and chatting OOC even when it'll take me some time to reply, but I can't write replies every day and I don't expect my partner to either. However, at the start of the roleplay I do appreciate more frequent replies, because if it takes you several weeks to reply to a starter, I'll probably have lost interest at that point.

- I very much appreciate proper grammar/punctuation and spell-checking. Mistakes happen and that's fine. English isn't everyone's native language (myself included), so perfect grammar and grasp of the language isn't required. But it's nicer to roleplay when I at least understand what you're trying to say and don't have to try to decipher chat talk.

- Last but not least, when you message me, please don't just say "wanna rp?" - I will say no. Tell me what you'd like to roleplay with me, if you have any plot ideas or if you were interested in any of mine, what themes you like, what you're looking for in a writing partner, etc.

WHAT DO I LIKE IN MY ROLEPLAYS?

I'm a huge fan of tragic love stories and seemingly hopeless romances (that end up having a happy ending after many, many dramatic plot twists). This is what I'm looking for right now. However, I do not want the story to be only about romance.

Themes such as mythology, mystery, supernatural elements, drama and adventure are right up my alley when I'm writing a story. I adore historical settings, so I'm hoping to include that in the roleplay, but with the right plot I can be convinced of a modern setting as well.

To summarize:

- Romance
- Drama and many plot twists
- Historical settings
- Mythological/mythical themes
- Supernatural themes (including such as vampires, werewolves, magic users etc.)
- Seemingly tragic story turning into a happy ending
- Adventure
- Mystery

SMUT?

Short answer being yes. Yes please.

Long answer being that there are a few things I would like to point out. I enjoy clear "gender roles" in pairings, even if it is a M/M pairing. What I mean by this is that I prefer playing a character who is decidedly the sub/bottom character in the relationship.

Now, this does not mean that my character should or will be a crying "can do nothing on their own" blushing virgin/maiden in distress. I prefer my characters to have diversity and actual character in them, or if they start out as innocent and a bit useless, they will 100% see character growth during the story. However, when it comes to sex, I prefer the other character taking control. And I very much like dom/sub dynamics in the relationship overall. (If someone is interested in ABO dynamics, I'm totally up for it)

I am also a fan of my boys being more feminine, even cross-dressing, but if this is not something you'd prefer to have in the roleplay, let me know.

You can see my F-list here. It's not an exhaustive list, but you can see my general faves and hard nos. Of course, not every kink will fit every story, so we'll naturally talk more about those later.

IDEAS?

I have a few beginnings of plot ideas of my own that I'd like to take off the ground with someone. But if you have ideas of your own that you think you'd like to pitch to me, feel free! ^^

Also as a side note; I love historical settings, but I don't strive for 100% historical accuracy! For me it's quite enough if the feeling and atmosphere of the era is there and your character isn't talking in a modern "dude that was dope" way lol. Also I prefer for homophobia to not be a "thing" really. It can be a feature of the world in which our story takes place, but not as much a prominent thing that our characters would have to hide their relationship in fear of being persecuted over both being men. Let's say I prefer historical fantasy over strictly accurate historical settings.

1) Medieval or Renaissance-ish setting. Much akin to Romeo and Juliet, this plot starts with there being two noble families that have been mortal enemies for as long as anyone can remember. YC (your character) is the eldest (or only) son of one of the families, the one who is going to inherit the family name and fortune. YC's father has high expectations resting on his shoulders. MC (my character) is the youngest son of the other family. He's spoiled and carefree and uninterested in the petty quarrel of their families. One day, they meet by chance without recognizing one another and there is a crackle in the air, something almost like magic that ignites their hearts. They meet several more times before they learn who the other is, and by then it's too late for them to take back their feelings. Can they work together to bring their hateful families together, or will they be torn apart from each other?

2) Ancient Greece. MC is one of the young gods of Olympus, yet to walk the Earth. He's always been arrogant, despite his young years, and eventually one of the older gods decides to teach him some humility. He's sent on Earth, barely more than a normal human himself now. After his fall, he's found lying unconscious by YC, who just so happens to be a nobleman exiled from his home and lands, now reduced to living in the countryside. They make a deal - YC will help MC find a way back to Mt. Olympus and his godly graces, and in return once MC has his powers back, he'll grant YC back his position, wealth and lands. Neither of them counted on feelings growing during their time together. What do they choose when it's time to pick between staying together, or MC going back to Mt. Olympus and being separated?

3) A royal marriage is arranged, YC and MC are to be wed against their wishes. Their nations have arranged for a frail peace that is supposed to be strengthened by the marriage of the two princes. But as MC arrives to YC's court before the wedding, they find they cannot stand each other at first. Slowly, but surely, feelings start to blossom though, which is why both are grief stricken when it is revealed only days before the marriage that YC's father has broken the peace treaty. The right thing would be to send MC back to his country - however, YC finds out his father plans to have MC executed as an act of war against MC's kingdom. Will he choose his kingdom, or his heart?

4) YC is a nobleman whose family has wealth and connections all the way up to the king himself. MC is a spy who has been sent to gather information on the state of business in YC's country, and sees his opportunity in befriending YC to gain access to all his connections and knowledge. Friendship quickly turns into something more and suddenly MC finds himself torn between his mission and the man he has fallen for.

5) In Victorian era England, YC is renowned as one of the leaders of the fearsome street gang that has been plaguing the streets of London. He has a hold in every corner of society, and London rests on the palm of his hand. That is, at least, until a newly formed rival gang starts wreaking havoc on their plans and gaining momentum on the streets. MC, the founder of said gang, is smart enough to disguise himself from the plain view of his rivals — but YC is insistent on finding who is behind the trouble. MC knows the best defence and disguise is to keep his enemies close, but by the time YC finds who MC is, are they really enemies anymore?

6) YC is a werewolf, of a pack that has inhabited the town and its surrounding areas for as long as anyone can remember. MC is a vampire of a coven that has made their nest in the very same town for as long. And no one can remember who came first — and no one is willing to leave. Their endless skirmishes have finally attracted hunters into their lands and initially the two groups blame each other for the bodies that keep turning up. Our characters meet by chance when they're both being hunted; ironically the only way for them to survive is by working together. But will their respective groups realize it before it's too late?

I'll be adding new plots here and there when they pop into mind ^^ Anyway, if you find yourself interested, please DM me!
