Current And maybe most people don't like getting a single line back in response to a few paragraphs? Like whatever floats your boat, but there's a reason Free exists.

Hey now, he's becoming self-aware. Don't take that from him.

If the man's is asking for a ban, might as well give it to him. Good riddance.

Then you'd just be crying about why it's permanent instead.

Pretty sure she means tomorrow, on the 4th day...
Ryutaro didn’t know why, but trying to study was like trying to walk through a Lego-filled floor. It was unpleasant, painful, and not something he wanted to be doing, despite normally having no trouble with it. Finally, after an hour of absolutely no progress, he closed his books, sighed in frustration, and slumped onto the desk. A window popped up as he glanced sideways, surprising him enough that he bolted up, though his head disagreed with the sudden movement and rang in pain.

“Ah!” he groaned quietly as he palmed his forehead, waiting for the ringing to subside. When it finally did so, he looked up again at the notification, and after a quick cursory glance, groaned. “Oh what the hell…” he muttered, exasperated at this new development. Now he couldn’t even do things that weren’t an issue without a chance of failure? This <Gamer> thing was quickly losing its shine. Nevertheless, if he had been afflicted with a headache, than the logical thing to do would be grab some aspirin or ibuprofen.

It wasn’t hard to find some appropriate medicine in the cabinet downstairs, and though he felt an urge to plunder it a bit for his [Inventory], he thought it would be inappropriate. With a sigh, he climbed back up the stairs after taking the pill. He had enough sense to check the laptop, catching the message, and sending out a quick reply before he slumped onto the bed. It wasn’t too late, he could take a quick nap and hope the medicine did its work.

Sounds fine to me, but I’ve got class at 1:30, so I can’t stay for too long.
Oh right, forgot to also ask, but can Ryutaro's Knowledge, Acrobatics and Observation Talents receive the +1s from Jack of a Few Trades?

I guess Sasha is going to be really poor since she's unemployed. How much does a kid get for allowance? And how am I going to go about grinding levels? I see Zombehs tried.

Wasn't aiming for levels, just a general stat boost or something. But yeah, what I did and hope the RNG doesn't decide to screw you over.

Also, Renose, mind updating Ryutaro's CS? He should have 3 Exp.

Remember, this dude's a genius. The only reason he didn't finish school early was because he chose to do COMP-SCI electives. And, in all respects, if you were to truly use your time perfectly, it sounds sort of plausible to land a similar job.

Not really. He's 19, he doesn't have enough experience that someone would hire him for this type of job, or this type of salary.

Well, that's a webmaster's wage for ya.

Just curious how a 19 year old would be able to land such a job...

He took another tired glance at the watch, though it was mostly for the sake of doing something other than placing his foot in front of the other. It had been a while since he actually needed the device to tell the general time, right now he could do as much from the sun’s position; three months’ time was a long time to adjust after all. The road was largely empty as far as he could see, with only the occasional abandoned or crashed vehicle here and there. It had been days since Nathan had last seen an individual, human or demon. As far as he could tell most people and invaders stuck to centers of populations, though he had seen a few roaming bands of Demons; he was never was unlucky or careless enough to actually run into one.

Having been on the walk since he woke up at the crack of dawn after a small breakfast, Nathan decided it was time to take a small break. There was a pileup of cars ahead, the abandoned and broken vehicles would serve better than simply taking a seat out on the open road. A hand raised to adjust the army cap on his head, while the large camp pack was adjusted ever so slightly so it sat on his shoulders comfortably again. With that done, hard boot soles hit the heated asphalt again as he made his way over towards his break point, occasionally sipping from his bag’s water bladder.

The various vehicles were in states of varying damage, but they all seemed to have burned out their alarms at the least. Nevertheless he still chose one with its doors wide open just as a precaution. Unhooking the waist strap, he slid the backpack off and placed it near his feet on the street as he took a seat in the driver’s seat, legs out the door and feet still on the ground. It was a welcome break after several hours of marching, and despite being exposed to the elements, the seat was still comfortable. Slipping a half-eaten energy bar from his pocket, Nathan finished the rest of it off and crammed the wrapper into the seat through where the covering had torn and exposed the stuffing; no sense in leaving any trace he had been here after all. Stretching a bit, it was nice to move around without the heavy pack for a while.

The break would have been perfect if the constant tug to keep moving wasn’t there in his head. Whatever it was had appeared three months ago with the Demons and the urge had only grown as the months passed. Eventually, a week ago, the nagging sensation had simply grown too much to ignore or put off. He left in the middle of the night, knowing those around him would have never let him go alone, but he couldn’t put them in danger; not because of some sensation in his head he just couldn’t ignore. So here he was, on the road, and a fair bit annoyed that this is what it had taken to get a modicum of peace from the urge in his head. Hopefully, whatever it was driving him on towards would be worth it in the end.
Wow.... That makes up for my two lucky rolls I guess. Time to go grab some aspirin or ibuprofen.
