Current And maybe most people don't like getting a single line back in response to a few paragraphs? Like whatever floats your boat, but there's a reason Free exists.

Hey now, he's becoming self-aware. Don't take that from him.

If the man's is asking for a ban, might as well give it to him. Good riddance.

Then you'd just be crying about why it's permanent instead.

Oh my dear sweet Lord. Selia, that post is giving me Adam Langley flashbacks. Literally his entire character is a guy who has been living in the wilderness for, like nine years. Having befriended a wolf during that time is not that much of a stretch.Having a single companion in the form of this wolf doesn't have to be a big deal, no matter his purpose for it being there...

Well not living in the wilderness, just travelling around, but close enough. :P

Anywho, yes the point of him leaving was sort of because his affinity drove him to seek out bonds that he could form into magical ones later.

But you have to think of the size as well. The amount of magic it would take to summon a 40 kg gray wolf is more than a novice has.I will say that Oria has Arua and Edonil has his adopted daughter (or maybe just little sister. ^_^), so I'm not objecting to you having a companion. Just bear in mind that your magic is that of an untrained novice.

Which is why how it works is important.

If size the biggest cost to summoning a creature can the bond between Conjurer and Summoned, if strong enough, cut the amount down substantially? Does an object which is the foci for Conjuration affect the magic, ie, would a fang soaked in blood spilled in a first encounter between Conjurer and Conjured be far more effective than just a plain lock of fur? Does the length of partnership and familiarity between the two individuals affect cost as well?

Depending on a bunch of factors, there's numerous things that Val'kur could do to offset the problems associated with being a novice.
Depends on how it works really, I have no idea.

In my opinion if the wolf was intelligent enough or for another reason wanted/was amiable to a bond with the Conjurer than it would be easier in some degree than to summon a mindless hornet that was simply pulled to the Conjurer.
Not seeing why a conjured companion would be an issue given he's had more than enough time to establish/bind a few contracts, but sure, what do you have to say about it Tali?
Okay, so now I'm a bit confused. Just to clarify, we gain an Ability after each episode, so I'm to assume we'll end up with one from Budding, Blossoming, Blooming, Glowing, and Floating by the end of the first five Episodes?

That way each character can be customized as we see fit?

Also, would I be wrong to hope for more offensive related abilites, ie, Holy Smite and the like?
Oh don't worry. I'm sure Val'kur's eventual appearance, aka when I stop being a lazy arse, will incite a great deal of panic with Mizzie.

Still debating if I want him to have a conjured travelling companion for additional panic value.
The window was quick to change, and the text quickly appeared within his Friends List - Sasha’s full name alongside a small green circle. Typically that meant that the other person was online in a game, but what it could represent here… well Ryutaro had no idea. Shrugging to himself, he turned his attention towards the now ecstatic Sasha and couldn’t help but grin a bit. Her mood was quite infectious really.

He raised an eyebrow at how fast her fingers danced over, what he assumed was, a keyboard. Not a moment later, a small dialogue box popped up in front of his face with a small pinging sound. “Yup,” he told her before taking a glance at what she had sent.
‘hey this is crazy so message me maybe?’

He gave her a pointed looks as if to say, “Really?” Nevertheless though, he tapped the reply button which caused a chat window to open. Her name was displayed in the upper left corner, while there was a space for him to type his message at the bottom, and a display area above. All in all a fairly standard chatbox. The keyboard was fairly interesting, though he didn’t spend time examining it, figuring he could save it for later. Tapping out his message, though no where close to as fast as Sasha had, he sent it over once he had finished. ‘Sure this is crazy, so have a message.'

He hit the close button, and the chat window snapped itself shut, before he said, “Well, we managed to figure something out, so that’s good.” A quick look at his phone told Ryutaro that he was going to be cutting it close, so he stood from his seat and gave Sasha a nod. “Anyways, have to get back to class now. See ya around.”
Gonna drop some interest into the thread. Grow, blossom, prosper, etc.

Not interested in, but would Wickeds be playable or simply GM controlled antagonists?

Is the way I phrased it confusing, or something? I just mean that she doesn't appreciate it if someone just likes getting into brawls or starts fights for no reason at all, or merely for the sake of starting something. It's just one of those honorable/chivalry-like kind of factors to her.

Well I imagined it was one of the issues she might have with Alam, since he doesn't really have a reason to fight other than he enjoys it. I'm thinking I'm totally off though.

Just for a like a few mins or so, just enough for him to win. Then he's gotta start from scratch at the very basics of his powers.

Basically. Slaughter everything and then it's back to plain old Nathan.
