Current And maybe most people don't like getting a single line back in response to a few paragraphs? Like whatever floats your boat, but there's a reason Free exists.

Hey now, he's becoming self-aware. Don't take that from him.

If the man's is asking for a ban, might as well give it to him. Good riddance.

Then you'd just be crying about why it's permanent instead.

Half-life 3 SOON?
Veili continued to meet the Headmaster’s stare for a few more moments before he finally averted his gaze and frowned. Rubbing the back of his neck was about the only sign he’d give, but he realized he’d gone too far. It was like the Headmaster said, he was in no position to be determining exactly what was too much for others. And it was also true that he had been given a special privilege amongst the student body. There wasn’t anything to gain by continuing this pointless, and frankly unwinnable, argument with the Headmaster. He was in the wrong, even if he thought he shouldn’t be, and admitted as such. Or at least he tried to, but people seemed to be a fan of interrupting him in the midst of things today.

‘Huh...’ was the first brilliant thing to come to mind as Veili took in the newcomer with a raised eyebrow. It was for the first time that he could quite confidently think that, whoever it was, looked just as much as a delinquent as he did. Appearance aside, he didn’t quite like the smile she had on her face, especially since it seemed like it was directed at him. Yet Veili was never someone who backed down easily, and simply shot her an annoyed look before muttering, “None of your business.” Figuring that was enough to get the point across, he turned back to the Headmaster and lowered his head just slightly. “I’m sorry then for breaking the rules, it won’t happen again” he said firmly, as he kept up the slight bow. And he truly had no intentions of doing so during the school year, today had simply been a rush job that he perhaps shouldn’t have taken seeing all the trouble it had brought him.

Now, please, just let this end.
Veili refrained from sighing at the Headmaster’s straight forward response and simply nodded in acceptance instead. In the midst of carefully rewrapping his creation in the cloth, he looked back up when he was once again addressed. Finishing what he had started, he grabbed the ends of the cloth firmly before setting the weapon on his shoulder and looking straight into the older man’s eyes. “I figured since it was the first day, which isn’t really so much a school day as it is a “get to know things” day, it wouldn’t be so much of an issue.” He waved his hands at the crowd around the two of them as if to emphasize the point. There were a crowd of onlookers, no doubt from the scene that had been caused, but the majority of students were content to go along their merry way and ignore the delinquent looking boy.

“Yes I’m skirting the rules,” he admitted as he continued to meet the Headmaster’s gaze, “but if some students can’t handle the sight of a single, wrapped-up longsword, than I really question why they are here.” And Veili truly believed that, even if it was a bit harsh. What was a piece of plain metal in comparison to the sight of a roaring inferno contained in the palm of someone’s hand, or the ability to peer into someone’s deepest secrets. “Look, I’m not saying I’m going to parade around with my entire collection, but is this really hurting anyone?”

Went afk for ten minutes, came back to all of these wonderful images. I'm surprised five posts were submitted within an hour's time. I'll write up my next one tomorrow, as I'm pretty tired. Besides, wouldn't want to walk over Zombehs' turn to post. I should have mine up around 3 or 4 EST tomorrow.

Aw... how considerate. Thank ye kindly.

I'm here, lurking, trying to nail the character down before too much IC goes by... Ren'll definitely have a strange relationship with Veili as well, if the story forces them to work together. x.x Anyone who handles that many weapons is a person to be avoided.

Psh, weapons are cool. Having more exponentially increases the cool.

It's a Y chromosome thing.

Mmmm, Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino... Anyway, the more I write on this character, the more I realize she's almost a polar opposite to Zombeh's character. This will be fun in the future when things get underway.

Huzzah. Someone who'll no doubt irritate or be irritated by Veili.

Full Name: Karum Jung
Nickname/Alias: N/A
Gender: Male
Age: 17

Class: Necromancer

Personality: Karum is a rather hard to read individual, his true personality difficult to determine. That is partially due to the fact that most people only see him in the confines of a hospital bed, but the boy has also learned to hide his feelings; usually under a pleasant smile. What he appears to be is a satisfied, calm, and collected boy. He speaks in a gentle manner, and seems to hold very little ill will against anything. His red eyes do gleam with intelligence though, made quickly apparent should one converse with the bedridden adolescent. He expresses great curiosity, an interest in learning, and seems to pick up things easily enough. Still… while all of these might have seemed normal or even encouraged on a regular boy, Karum was anything but.

Short History: You see, Karum was never supposed to live very long. The doctors had given him fifteen years at most to live when he was first diagnosed at birth, and he’s never left the hospital since. While his condition doesn’t affect his daily life, the constant risk of it acting up means that he was never allowed to stray too far from immediate medical attention. The hospital was a prison, one that kept him alive, but a prison nevertheless. Yet, a prisoner that has never known freedom never truly seeks it. Much was the case for Karum, even after he learned of the reasons to leave.

A green haired, red eyed boy isn’t something that goes unnoticed after all. Especially not when he resides in the same bed for years on end. Frequent visitors to the hospital caught notice, and just a few were of his age. They visited this strange boy, had him put aside the books, and struck up conversation. A few were fleeting acquaintances, but some became more than that. There was one that stuck out amongst the few he called friends though. A girl with hair just as red as his eyes, and a fiery personality to match. She was the first person to try and get him to leave, the first person to actually hurt him, and the first person to shed tears in front of him. She was also the first person he thought of after everything changed, oddly enough.

Abilities: (Nothing here yet; copy and paste once I put it up.)

Other: Bards can’t fight, ya silly goose.

The bandage wrapped around his head is nothing extraordinary, but he treats it like a treasure.
Veili had taken to closing his eyes while waiting for the mess to be sorted out, blotting out most of the sounds that filled the air. His eyes opened slowly, a sign of disrespect some would say, at the sound of his name and shifted towards the old man. While he never called the Headmaster that aloud, that was the title Veili had decided on for the weathered, yet capable elder. He pushed off the wall to stand at his own two feet, and as he did so, an annoying sound reached his ears. “Ah, Headmaster!” The guard had noticed Render’s appearance and was now rushing forward, trying to get his side of the story in first. He didn't need to; Veili was more than happy to let the other man explain. “This student here was stopped because of the suspicious bundle he was carrying,” the guard continued on after coming to a halt in front of the two of them, gesturing at the sword Veili had embedded into the ground. “Upon discovering it was a weapon, I asked for confirmation that this Veili Sturm is indeed authorized to carry such things around school grounds, and was simply awaiting a reply.”

‘Tch.’ It seemed like the guard could act with a sense of professionalism in the presence of his superiors. With a small scowl, Veili nevertheless shrugged his shoulders, agreeing that what had been said was pretty much the truth. “I am on a schedule though,” he mentioned as he strolled over and tore the blade from its place in the earth. “You know what I’m authorized to do Headmaster, can we just end this farce here?” He was still angry at the guard for the hassle that had been called, but with the Headmaster around Veili was willing to keep his emotions in check. The old man had never once been, even slightly, perturbed by the sight of Veili angry and he had quickly learned that to deal with the man was best done calmly, or at least with the appearance of.
Those ignores are just because of the triple post I assume. RPG has been having weird issues.
