Current And maybe most people don't like getting a single line back in response to a few paragraphs? Like whatever floats your boat, but there's a reason Free exists.

- Name -
Clark Walter
Motto:
“There’s generally something new to find if you’ll just reach forward.”
Age:
18
Gender:
Male

- Aspect of... Santa Claus!-

Form of Aspect:
The Bottomless Bag of Gifts (BBG, Not actual name)

Appearance of Aspect:
A large red fleece bag with a white trim at the top and two white pom-poms at the end of a red drawstring. The bag is quite large, about 6’ in length and 3’ across, and it always looks full. Opening it reveals a bag full of presents to outside observers, despite it being empty in reality. While Clark manages to carry it around with seemingly no trouble, anyone will find themselves to unable to move the bag or access its contents. It has little value as a weapon, as despite being “full” it hits with as much weight as an empty fleece bag. It is just as durable as other Weapons though, and can be used effectively for defense given it’s large area and light weight.

Xeno:
Gratuitous Gift Giving (GGG) is the ability shared between Clark and his “weapon”. As its name implies, the ability allows for Clark to reach into the BBG and pull out a random gift of some beneficial value. He’s generally unable to influence the type of “gift” he pulls free, save for special circumstances like being in combat. While the limits of this ability have yet to be explored, Clark seems to have discovered some guidelines for how it functions.
  • All items, be they magical or mundane, drawn out are consumables, a one-time use. Food and medicine seem to be the most common objects pulled out.
  • The BBG has a daily usage of between 5-10 times. Upon reaching the limit, any further attempts for items will result in coal. Any items drawn out will expire and vanish at the end of 24 hours, meaning stockpiling is sadly not possible.
  • While weapons are possible, they do not seem to appear unless within a combat situation. Those that are drawn are always non-lethal in nature. Generally grenades of some type. Magical results have varied from an ethereal bow that shot a single arrow that rooted his enemy with spectral chains, to a crystal hammer that shattered on impact but released a powerful shockwave.
  • Odds seem to be something along the lines of a 50/50 chance for food or medicine, with an unnoticeable chance for other items. In combat the odds change to 25/25/50 for food, medicine, and weapons. Magical items seem to appear with a 10% chance at all times.
I Go Anywhere (IGA) is the ability given to Clark as the Aspect of Santa Claus. It allows for him to unlock or, in the case of magic, dispel any non-offensive security measures in place. While he still has to deal with offensive security measures on his own, even the most advanced locks will simply fall open for him. Creations by other Aspects will give him more trouble, but ultimately fall as well unless they have some sort of conceptual backing that clashes with IGA.

Personal Skills:
  • A fairly good cook. Not everything he pulls out is ready to eat. To that means he's fairly good at setting up a makeshift kitchen.
  • Brawling. He might not look it, but Clark can throw down fairly well. While his Xeno can help him in combat, it's not something he can solely rely on. To that end, he's a decent unarmed combatant, even if it may not be all that effective against other Aspects.
  • A fairly good swimmer, even if not in the competitive sense. While he doesn't train for it, the fact that he's on an island means he doesn't have to go far to go for a swim.
  • An academic. One of the students that attends the academy daily, he's fairly smart and generally one of the top in his classes.
  • Good with extremes in temperatures. He doesn't particularly mind the weather being at either extreme, though he does prefer the cold over heat. He regularly goes for swims in the ocean, even when the temperatures drop to near or below freezing.

Personal Belongings:
Brought a fair bit of stuff to the Academy with him under the assumption he’d be there for a few years. Quickly realized it was good idea, since things were literally good for a day. Still pretty annoyed they took all his clothes though, so now he’s stuck shelling out a chunk of his stipend for god damn clothes.
  • On his person at basically all times:
  • A sizable Swiss Gear backpack. Keeps the following things inside:
  • In his suitcase that’s locked up at his shabby residence:
Additional Info:
Rarely involve himself in the duels thanks to the utility provided by GGG. Coupled with the few duels he won when his abilities were still unknown, he’s able to live fairly comfortably. On occasions he pulls something magical, he's been known to bargain with other students. While rare, there are days where he finds himself with extra uses of GGG left over and during these times he's known to lend a helping hand to those who need it. People aren't really sure if it's him or his Divine Spirit's influence, but those on the receiving end generally don't care.

Clark's theme I guess. Energetic; not exactly happy, but certainly upbeat; fast-paced, but still somewhat relaxing thanks to its jazzy feel.

I just want to clarify something... Mulan was never real, she was a famous character in Chinese poems and plays. So instead of Mulan, you could use Fu Hao, she is the person who Mulan was based off of.

It doesn't matter if they're real or not, just if they're a well-known folk tale/mythological/etc. figure.
A slumped form slowly rose from its desk, yawning as another wave of drowsiness assaulted him. He cast his eyes around the room, but his mind didn’t recognize anything as it dealt with the urge to fall back asleep. Unaware of when he had even fallen asleep in the first place, Kana finally stilled as the last urges were dealt with as he noticed the bright sunlight filtering in through the blinds. Running a hand through his messy hair, he murmured, “Ah shit… I’m late.”

And late he might have been, but there wasn’t a particular rush for Kana to reach the university. Class didn’t even technically start until tomorrow as the campus grounds were used for the welcoming event, but the professor had seen fit to decide otherwise. Everything, from getting dressed to tidying up, was done at a casual pace as he moved across the small apartment that was his home.

The sounds of the busy city hit him in full force when he finally stepped outside, and he frowned at the sudden, if expected, influx of noise as he closed the heavy door gently. Fumbling momentarily, Kana sighed softly as he placed his pair of headphones on, the outside noise muffled and eventually drowned out by music, before he went on his way.

The school grounds were packed as expected given the ongoing event, and Kana was glad to be tall as his height let him navigate the crowds with ease. He wasn’t rude persay, but people generally got out of his way when he moved forward.

Headphones on, cell phone in hand, and gaze avoiding any of the set-up stalls, he was nevertheless left alone by the club representatives that hounded the attendees. Other students were here to look around at what clubs and associations were in attendance. Kana was here to find a teacher that decided classes started one day earlier than usual and it showed.

He couldn’t really say he was surprised that what he found was an empty space between two stalls. Given his tardiness, it seemed that the professor had decided to take those that had arrived elsewhere, likely the classroom. With a new destination in mind, Kana made sure to grab some steak from the nearby stall before wandering off in search of the classroom mentioned in the email.

Headphones off as he walked through the hallways, footsteps silent against the floor, he could hear faint voices coming from a classroom ahead, even against the sounds coming from outside. Opening the door slowly, he peered his head in and, noticing the flag with FJA emblazoned on the fabric, decided he was in the right location. Closing the door after he stepped in, Kana didn’t announce his arrival but simply waited for the others to finish what they were doing, introductions given what he had heard from outside.
Frowning when Aden didn’t seem to notice him, Lian figured the other student was busy searching the new arrivals. It wasn’t any of his business who he’d lost in the events just a few weeks ago, so he turned and walked away, having seen enough. Curious as to why some of the new arrivals seemed to be heading right back onto the worn down airship, Lian figured he’d go inside and check it out. If people were grabbing their belongings or transferring the remaining supplies, an extra pair of hands probably wouldn’t hurt.

He ended up following someone to a dome shaped room where some of the occupants were currently eating. Scratching his head in confusion, he stepped aside to let a brown-haired girl, who smelt of cigarettes, pass as he thought. He supposed it made sense they’d stay on the ship for food given they knew exactly where to find it, Lian figured they could have easily just asked one of the many members of Gram where the dining hall was. Then again, he hardly knew how many people the ship had held, so it was likely the majority of people had in fact and he was just looking at a minority.

Stepping inside the room, he eyed the pile of food before dismissing it. There was a smattering of fresh fruits, but it was mostly packaged rations and the like, of which he had more than enough in the past weeks. Now that Gram’s kitchen had finally been properly set up, the food was better than just edible and actually had some flavor to it. Tapping the steel wall next to the door, he waved a hand and said, “Hey. Name’s Lian, been here at Gram since it was set up. If any of you’d like some “real” food, I’m heading down to the dining hall right now if you want to follow.” He’d wait for a few moments to see if anyone took his offer before leaving the room and finding his way back off the ship.
Standing at a distance from his partner, Perry got the feeling that this “partnership” was going to be one in name only. His memories of the other student told him that there was no love for humans, and it didn’t look like their fight for their lives had changed that in the slightest. Sighing, he followed the Faunus back into the forest out of the clearing, sheathing Blast Bicell as he did so. Given he had no clue where the ruins actually were and his partner’s likely heightened senses, following him around wasn’t a bad idea. All that aside, Perry wasn’t even sure if he could have convinced the other student even if he had a reason to. At least his pace was something Perry didn’t have any trouble keeping up with, even if he winced a bit with every step.

He’d recovered a bit during their trek towards their destination, the pain fading to just a constant dull throb that told him his body was far from fit to fight with. Brushing himself off as he stepped out of the treeline, the mixture of sweat, blood, and dirt cracked before flaking off, though he was still in sore need of a shower after this. Looking around, he quickly realized that they were the last pair to arrive at the destination given the number of others around and the fact that there was only a single piece left for the taking. Raising a hand to wave at the gathered students, he walked over and pocketed the Queen.

Running a hand through his hair, Perry sighed in exasperation as one of the students was promptly yanked from the cliff. He’d followed the others over towards the cliff opposite of the ruins to find the bridge connecting the two cliffs was in horrible condition. And apparently housed an entire web of spider-like Grimm underneath it. Retreat didn’t seem to be an option either given how the treeline was blocked off by the bodies of two King Taijitus, four heads gazing down at the remaining students. He was feeling a bit better having rested during the leisure stroll over, but far from peak condition. He scratched his head as he watched the students break off against the creatures, he wanted dearly to help out. Cold logic told him that in his condition he wouldn’t do much good and he might even make the situation worse if he ended up in needing protection.

Gritting his teeth, he turned away from the King Taijitus and made his way towards the bridge. It seemed the largest arachnid Grimm was still preoccupied with its bound meal, and Perry was fairly certain he would be able to deal with the smaller variants without too much trouble. His main concern was to leave the combat zone for now and await retrieval by the Beacon staff.

Judged by the quality and the diversity, my pitiful Jedly. Also note that not all powers would be super useful.

For example, you're an Aspect of my Knight of the Sun, Gawain. However, the Xeno you inherit from him is his knowledge of medicine, not his badass fighting skills or his super-hax sword. So yeah, you're gonna be good at making herbal medicines...and that's pretty much it.

That'd pretty much be limited to Sentient/Conceptual form then wouldn't it? At least in terms of the non-combative Xenos.

Unless of course you get a weapon that secretes highly concentrated meds that essentially act as poison and overdose your enemies.

We will forever remember BBCode's sacrifice, made on that very dark day. The day of DDoS'ing and betrayal of server hosting. Oh, I'm definitely interested. Already brainstorming, and I might reuse an appearance and name of a character I didn't RP that much.

What DDoS'ing? Anyways, interest I suppose.
Let's see how this goes.

“I’d be surprised if no one recognized me.”

Class: Assassin
Identity: Simo Hayha, White Death

Personality: Obedient but strong willed, Assassin is a Servant that is easy to work with as long as one does not step on his toes. Which, given his apparent dislike for the modern Magus, may be quite difficult. While he will obey most orders that coincide with winning the Holy Grail, actions to advance his Master’s status as a Magus will likely be ignored. Actions that involve drawing the innocent into the war will also be quite likely to earn his ire. Aside from that, he’s a rather quiet individual who doesn’t speak too often, acting his part as a soldier.

Stats:
  • STR: D
  • END: B
  • AGI: C
  • MAN: E
  • LUK: B
  • N.P.: A

Class Skills
Presence Concealment (A/EX): It is possible to disappear completely and become almost impossible to be detected. Preparations to attack will cause a drop in effectiveness.

Personal Skills
Battle Continuation (B): The ability to fight on regardless of one’s condition as well as withdrawal upon defeat. Assassin laid day after day during the harsh winter to drive back his enemies. Even when finally shot, he was able to survive and be rescued. Enables Assassin to fake his death after a fatal injury although he will be incapacitated and require rescue afterwards.

Clairvoyance (C): Assassin was known for simply using the iron-sight of his weapon, his skill great enough that the use of a scope was unnecessary. Capable of tracking objects at a range of 3km with the naked eye, while reducing the effectiveness of any vision impairments. Natural effects such as glare, snow, or dust are completely ignored.

Eye of the Mind (True) (C): The months of combat allow Assassin calm observation of the situation he is in as well as reducing the effectiveness of mental interferences. Increases the chance of success for most actions made while in combat.

Presence Detection (B): Assassin was also known for locating and dispatching many snipers sent against him. Capable of sensing individuals within a 5km radius. including those with up to Presence Concealment (C), he is also able to discern their general Od level.

Protection from Ice (False) (B): While not the actual spell, Assassin’s feat grants him protection against any Ice-based attack, negating them if they’re weak (D-rank) enough.

Noble Phantasm
The White Death Waits (A): A passive NP that causes Presence Concealment to be raised to EX. Famous for his incredible kill count as a sniper, Assassin would lie in wait for any Russians that entered his kill zone. Even enemy snipers sent to take him out fared no better than common soldiers, while artillery strikes failed to kill him. It allows for Assassin to make attacks without breaking the effect of Presence Concealment, while also granting protection against area of effect attacks, decreasing their effective rank by one.

Why not TWO submachinegun-caliber guns on a torret then? Or a small sphere companion armed with an smg-like gun, like a personal companion? (Thinking mass effect drones)

The first would still suffer from being too clunky to carry around on foot while losing out a great deal of firepower, while the sphere companion would have supply issues.

The personal companion did give me a few ideas though. I'll edit them in, and you can check them out Protagonist?
Still lurking around.
