No problem, Raptor. I only decided to make my last post because it will most probably be my last until Monday so I wanted to leave Rex and Bella something to respond to if they so chose. It won't move past their response to his problem until you post.

I did also decide it would be more likely for people to gradually join in with Terence's quest rather than all flock around him at once so If you make a post with Iona doing her own thing, our little party can coincidentally come upon her.

Do you think that Iona would be considered experienced enough to specifically go to for advice on Terence's missing pixie dust? Or am I overestimating that aspect of her character? I just thought two years would be quite a wise, mature age for a fairy.
I'm not talking wise old owl here, I'm just thinking big sis or something, like 'Hey, Iona might have some ideas?'

It's up to you though, I'm sure Terence has his own suspicions.

EDIT: Also, have you got Iona's appearance locked down?

DancePants, thank you for your praise, I had a hard time trying to add length and it just wasn't happening last night lol I was on Gaia too, but only for a little while, I didn't like it......People made great characters and then the roleplay just flopped because they either didn't post or just posted crappy replies....

Rex.....You just now watched frozen?! And you've never seen Brave???!!!! 0.0 I can't....I just....WHY?! I live too far from the movie theaters. XD There were at least six other movies that came out this year I was dying to see (including the recent Spidey 2), but no time either. orz. Most films I see nowadays I watch while I'm at work, so hopefully I'll be able to set up Brave for that next week. I've just heard too many negative things about its plot, so I ended up putting it off for a long time hahaha. But being in this RP now, I feel inspired to watch it, finally XD! Once Brave's down, I've caught up with all my Disney films. Whoo!

Yes! It was a lovely post! I think you described the outfit very poetically actually and I liked the ribboned french braid. I'm also very intrigued by these weather spheres which I assume are related to the glass blowing fairy. It was wonderfully enjoyable to read and I find it interesting that you went with an orchid for the outfit, that was totally what I thought when I saw your image.

Bella, I completely know what you mean about Gaia. It's a generalization but people are VERY fickle with joining and then dropping over there, that's part of why I sought out this place. It also somehow seems more mature over here, but that may just be me.

And Brave (Aww, Disney movies with hubby, so cute Bella <3) was great but I liked Tangled better, not sure about Frozen. I kinda went off animation when 3D CG stuff took over but those three together got me right back into it.

And yesh, Rex, it seems like it's about yours or Bella's turn, now. Ideally Bella should post next, that way we'll keep the cycle going and I'd like to see her reaction to Crispin flame drying her, too. If she takes more than another day or maybe two though, I'll message her and then it's batter up for you. It has been four days since those posts were made and I don't want her to feel rushed especially since it's been a weekend but it is getting on now.

I'm happy to see it was an entertaining intro. I have found that when my creativity is near a peak, my written words tend to reveal a more poetic nature. Others have previously described my style of writing as being eloquent. I'd say, if everything at least makes sense, then I am doing something right.

I too thought the purple ribbon through her braids was a nice touch, yet an unexpected one at that. Didn't ever come to mind until I saw a picture online of a french braid using a blue one. But then I thought, why not try it out. Definitely looked better than the previous headdress I contemplated over. We seem to think a little of the same; what else could possibly fit more perfectly than an Orchid.

Shhhh... the weather spheres are supposed to be a secret. No one can know how they are created. >_>

Seriously though, I am glad to see you noticed a connection between Melina, the glass blowing fairy, and those weather spheres. Might even find out about these so-called 'sprites' and 'elves' that Iona seems to be so drawn towards. They are not what one might typically presume.

Frozen was ehhh, I felt like the ending was a copout. :c I think I am losing my heart for Disney movies... ahh! But I'll always have a soft spot for my 90s-00s favorites, at least. I did enoy how Frozen picked on Disney tropes though. XD Also, have you guys seen that trailer for Frozen as a horror movie? Given the Ice Queen's theme, I think I would have been much more enamored with a... fantasy horror genre for that movie... I used to be all over fantasy-horror when I was younger, come to think of it.

Brave isn't available for rent until June though unfortunately... /mumble grumble.

Yes, I caught sight of that particular youtube video a few days ago. Not so much horror as intended, but I did find it to be an interesting take on bringing attention to the darker and more suspenseful moments of the film. Kind of feels like an action adventure movie that I would more than likely watch, if done in such fashion.

Well now, orchids are quite the popular flower aren't they. :p

Well I'm certainly glad your inspiration is high, Raptor! That's a big plus. But yes, lack of inspiration certainly causes posts to devolve into rather hurried and lackluster descriptions, that's why I'm aiming for the Rp to be reasonably slow paced and relaxed, I never want anyone to feel they have to post when their creative juices aren't flowing, though obviously we have to keep some level of foreward mobility going.

We do seem to think the same! Infact, Iona bears a few traits similar enough to one of my OC's that I'm actually shelving her and making an entirely new one for this Rp. I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and insert her in, we've lost Lily and I'm not really going to count on Sparx finalising anything. So what if we end up with one extra fairy?

Anyway, I love Iona and I think after all of that doubt you had that you managed to pull together a wonderful description after all though, so well done.

Haha! Rex, I literally JUST saw that horror movie Frozen thing, it was on the front page for me (I know that varies between users...or at least I think it does). I thought it was good by I must agree with Raptor, it was much more like an action adventure movie than a horror. Now that thing where they warped Anna's voice during 'Do you Wanna Build a Snowman', THAT was terrifying.

It pains me to say so, since there were certain aspects of it that I adored but I must agree that Frozen seemed a little lackluster to me. I think my expectations may have been through the roof thanks to Tangled. But why, Rex, do you think the ending was a copout?

Anyways, good job on getting a post done, Rex. I like the idea of Crispin's perpetually heightened body heat and his less than helpful response to Terence's woes. And seriously? Garebear? Almost lost it =P

Alright so a week has passed since Bella's last reply as well as both Rex's and my own reply to it, so I'm going to send her a message today and ask her what's up. I've got the weekend starting tomorrow again so it might be a bit messy for me to get a post in there but if I haven't heard from her by Monday, I'm afraid we might have to consider her M.I.A. and move on.

Edit: Okay, it's 3:30pm for me here and I just now sent a message to Bella regarding her inactivity. If she hasn't shown by Monday, I will write a simple exit for Ingrid and we'll have to move on without her.

Haha but yeah, anyway my post is going to end with Terence fluttering off to find Iona. I had thought about jumping ahead, making the post include Terence flying around and actually locating Iona but I'm trying to leave posts shorter and more open ended for the responses of your characters at key points rather than dragging characters along for the ride with longer posts. So don't feel bad, Rex and Bella, if your next posts are fairly short, I just want to give you guys more options on how to act.

Raptor, hopefully we'll locate Iona soon OR you could initiate and just post Iona bumping into Terence or one of the others right away, whichever works best for you, it's been a while since you got to post.

EDIT: Writing a post now! I'm dropping my minor and quitting one of my jobs tomorrow (well, putting in advanced notice anyway since idk how far in advanced they need to know before I'm out). Mum's egging on me to do both for my own sake, so hopefully the extra time to myself will be worth the sacrifices haha.

Raptor, I hope you don't mind me taking a little bit of liberty with having Crispin 'know' Iona beforehand, but lemme know if you'd prefer otherwise. :)

One other thing I should've highlighted about Crispin before in my CS is that he is rather competitive; he'll naturally try to one-up others. It's always in good nature though, and usually just for fun haha!
