This RP will be based on a story idea that revolved around the idea that human "Men" went extinct.

Rough backstory: Thousands of years ago, humanity was faced with a big problem. The human species was dwindling due to a random flaw in the men's y chromosome. Because of this, the men of the human race began to go extinct. It happened slowly, but eventually it came to a point where men were forced against their will to have their 'goods' extracted in order to keep the human race alive. This is where the slightly uncomfortable and painful Extraction Ritural was created. This caused some men to flee with their families out of the city, while others stayed behind to try to keep the population going.
500 years later, the last man had died. Women's bodies had adapted and changed due to the lack of child baring, making any hope of conception an even slimmer chance. The church said it was a plague. A punishment for mankinds 'sins of the flesh'
In a desperate attempt, scientists went against the churches wishes and created artificial human life. This however, failed dramatically creating the abomination known as Artificial Humans.
50 years later, the youngest women on record is now 36. It looked incredibly bleak for the human race, that is, until The Return. The church claims he was sent by god out of pity and for a second chance. The man was only about the age of 18. He had dark brown, almost black hair, tanned skin and dark eyes. The peculiar thing about this mysterious man, is the fact that he absolutely would not talk. Doctors could not determine whether he was a mute, simply refused to speak, or didn't understand the language. The church lovingly names him 'Adam' and takes him in. From there, his 'children' are extracted and simply given away 'as a gift from god' in hopes to restart humanity. From the hundreds of thousands of vials given away, an incredibly small number a males were born and kept inside the walls of the church. A few years passed and the boys grew to reproducing age. The church took them in and they were able to meet their biological father. From there they were taught the ways of the church and what it means to be 'A son of Adam' and the last hope of mankind.
Sadly, things didn't stay the same. The church became corrupted and only interested in money. The young men were being sold to rich nobles as a 'commodity' and a symbol of wealth. The Extraction Ritual became unbarably painful and more like torture so they boys wouldn't stray away from their duties of making their masters money. If a boy was born, he was immediately taken by the church guards, his mother received a large sum of money, higher social ranking, and a 'blessing' by the church, insuring her a place by the lords side. The church is currently run by human women, but mildly disfigured artificial men and artificial women are there working as well, seeking forgiveness from god for being created.
But one night, a group had met in the shadows and started talking...

Guess I should ask then...how is the world since men basically died out for a time? Had the world broke out into anarchy? Could females try and reproduce with the artificial human males? Did homosexuality amoung women become the norm, or did the portion that prefers males just get more into their jobs?

Artificial Humans: In a desperate attempt, the scientists went

what are called Artificial Humans. Artificial humans were created in hopes to stabilize the population
and increase reproduction. Artificials were given the genes that
were eventually lost to natural humans over a course of time.
Due to little or absolutely no reproduction, women slowly lost
their chest size and their hips became significantly smaller,
making any successful conception that much harder to follow through
with. The artificial women turned out to be beautiful. Curvaceous bodies, small waists, and
large hips.. The human women became jealous, and would force their female
slaves to wrap sheets around their waists to unflatter their figure as much
as possible. The artificial males, however, were a bit trickier. The scientists
couldn't successfully recreate the male y chromosome, so most of the men that were
born either died shortly after, or where left disfigured. Most of the time, depending
on the severity of disfigurement, the child would be abandoned or killed. If the
problems were mild, such as a missing limb, it would simply be replaced with
mechanical parts. Both male and female artificial humans are looked down upon.
They either become slaves, servants, city guards, or are outcast.
Artificial men and women, together cannot conceive, due to a genetic malfunction on
the mens behalf. And no noble woman would want their men even close to the artificial
women due to jealously and the fact that 'Artificials aren't really humans' Both artificial males and females have finer skin tones, light hair, and incredibly pale eyes. These characteristics were scientifically implanted to create more diversity among the population.

Well...my other questions still stand.

I ask 'cause I've read two things with similar premise before.
The manga I read had the female population die out due to a virus, which also killed any conceived female as well as the mother after a time, I think...? After 20-40 years, the youngest women were in their 40s. To deal with the want/desire for women, if not for reproduction then to just fill the void of one gender, they chose men to undergo sex changes...otherwise, homosexuality became common place.
Some piece of literature back in the day had the male population die out, and the female population had to use science to keep the population going...they became entirely homosexual since it was centuries since men even existed.

Of course, this thing has artificial males, so the void had been filled comfortably enough, I think...?
