Sasha thought for a few moments, "well it probably falls into the category of summoning magic obviously" she bit her lip, thinking. She wanted to be able to help, but wasn't sure how. "Summoning Magic works By using one's magical power and subjugating an animate or inanimate object one highlights a seal of sorts onto them. This seal connects the two users magically, allowing you to summon the item. It essentially allows you to summon your blades, and I'd call it something like your blade magic. You could probably come up with a name" She said brightly "you could also ask the master-she knows everything and could probably direct you to a teacher as well"

She wished she could be more help, but Sasha only knew basic information about other magic, not her own. "It means you can keep your blades in a safe place, and also have more that you can use without carrying a whole bunch of stuff." She added

Damian pursed his lips as he considered what Sasha had told him. "Thanks, Sasha. That was actually really helpful." Wishing her fun on her what-ever-it-was with Lazarus, he takes a seat at the bar and orders a drink and a pie while thinking about what Sasha had shared with him. Summoning magic...you know, I actually think there was a wizard in the past who used something like that, but I'd have to review the books... Shaking his head and thanking Jarvis for his order, he takes a bite of the pie and almost passes out from happiness alone. "Oh my god, this is the single best pie I've ever had!"

Ignoring the amused looks from the other guild members, he digs in with gusto, still thinking about the sword issue but more focused on the pie. When he finished, he'd seek out the guild master and ask him.

Sasha smiled, pleased she could help, and she wondered why Damian had chosen to interut, and she bit her lip thoughtfully, and then shook her head as if clearing her thoughts, before turning back to Lazarus.

"Sorry. For some reason, people like my knowledge" She said to him, although it made her happy to know the knowledge she picked up from here or there helped her help her friends and guild mates, but she wished she could also direct them to a book. She remembered then that Lazarus didn't know she had trouble reading, and if she was going to team up with him, then he would soon find it out.

That made her worry, particularly about what Lazarus would think. Who was nearly 20 years old, and unable to read or write consistently? Sometimes she hated her mentor for not teaching her those basic skills, but most of the time, she remembered the fond times, the magic he had taught her.

You survived while your family didn't, because Ice is already frozen the voice floated through her head, but she cave no reaction to it. She wouldn't believe that she had survived while her parents and little brother didn't, because she had magic.

She took a deep breath, pushed all her thoughts aside, and smiled at Lazarus. "So, food? Cause I'm starving"
When the master returned, after making sure everyone was off the boat, and organising for healers, and some supplies to be sent to Aroway Island in the morning, Jamie approached Jarvis, returning the communication Lacrima, saying to the bar tender "We should talk" Before going over to the job request board and pinning the flag to the board.

Then he went to his own room, changed into sleeping clothes, and fell onto the bed, ,asleep in moments. It didn't last long, as Jarvis knocked on the door and entered, with a tray of food. "You need to eat, Jamie" Jarvis said. "it will help you regain your energy, and you need to make an appearance at least to the guild that this hasn't beaten you"

Master Jamie let out a soft sigh, and sat up. She had no qualms about being virtually half naked in front of Jarvis. She ran a hand through her hair, and accepted the tray of food. "I know, Jarvis" He said, giving the bar tender a thankful smile, "Thank you. I would be lost without you reminding me to eat" He dug into the food to please Jarvis, and once finished, changed into more appropriate clothes, and heading back out. Choosing a seat at the bar further from most guild members, Master Jamie began to speak softly to Jarvis, in between drink and food orders for the rest of the guild, about what she had planned, and what was up coming.

Sasha seemed such an upbeat girl underneath her shy aspects. Lazarus smiled watching her talk to Damien. She returned to him. "Yes, food. I know this heavenly place not far from the guild." He smiled. Turning for the door he looked back. "Dont worry about the drink, i'll let you in on a little secret." He winked. "It's just weak schnaps with strawberry flavoring." He chuckled. It was true, he liked drinks like that, they tasted good.

After they left the guild. He walked her down the street a little. Girls pointed at them both in recognition that they were from the guild. He bent his arm a little so there was a gap for her to link arms with him. After all, though she may not know it, the place he was taking her to was really nice. Exactly where one would take a companion. "I'm glad you agreed to this." He remarked. "And I'm glad you'll team up with me, it'll be fun." He smiled, before coming to a stop. They were there. He pushed the door open and stepped aside for her to enter first.

Sasha had been around Lazarus long enough to know that when he said heavenly, it was more often then not a typical meaning of awesome, or nice or such, and she followed him, "schnapps?" She shook her head with a laugh, "you continue to surprise me" she said, falling silent as people, mainly girls, pointed at them. She tended to just stay in the guild-Jarvis made good food-except when she wanted to buy a few things, and was surprised that she was recognised. Yet she was sure most of the excitement was for Lazarus, sure she wasn't anything special.

She linked her arm through Lazarus, trying to ignore the people, wondering why they seemed happy to spend time out of their lives to point and cheer and cry out to wizards. She looked down, so she wouldn't meet anyone eyes, and have to acknowledge them. Plus she trusted Lazarus to not let her walk into a wall or something.

She looked up at Lazarus when he stated he was glad she agreed to eat with him, and agreed to team up. "Well, I'm glad you offered" she said , as he held the door open for her, and she slid inside, looking about the place, "and you know, starving"

Lazarus grinned, getting a table for them both. "In that case, order whatever you like. I'll pay of course." After pulling out her chair for her and taking his own seat, he removed his jacket and placed it on the back of his chair. He returned to her. "So tell me Sasha, how long have you known me now?" He pondered. "Surely it must be quite some time." He realized he was waffling and shut up. He skin burned red. what?!!! He was hot. Sweaty even. He'd taken hundreds of girls on dates, and his was always calm. Perhaps some magic he normally used in this situation would help. He brought his hand onto the table, cast a tiny piece of light. He clasped his hands around it, and when he let go, a white flower took its position, rotating in the air. "Here." He handed it to her. Surely that was hook line and sinker.

Sasha sat down, settling in the seat as he sat down as well. When he asked how long she had known him, she said "probably since as long as I've been in the guild, which is close to a year now I'd say" she said, watching as he blushed. Sasha didn't think she had ever seen him blush and she stared at him, as he clasped his hands around the ball of light, only to remove them, revealing the flower.

She smiled, and accepted it, wondering why he seemed so...flustered. "It's beautiful" she said softly, holding it gently in her hands, giving it a quick sniff, and smiling. She looked back to Lazarus, her hand gently cupped around the flower.

"Lazarus" she said softly, "are you actually nervous? With me?" She asked, as if shocked anyone could be nervous or embarrassed around her. It just never happened. She leaned against the table, towards him, careful not to damage the flower

His eyes widened a little. Crap, his skin was crimson red He sat back in his chair and folded his arms looking away. In a child like manner, he denied it. "N..no... heaven wouldnt allow it." He was still bright red, ans Sasha was still staring at him. "Uh... maybe a little..." He chuckled, leaning back into the table. He was really hot now, and his heart was pounding. "It's just, when you have that many girls swarming at you..." He pointed to the glass window, where 3 or 4 girls were pressed against, trying to get his attention. "...You never actually get to have that one special person." He looked down, a little embarrassed. "His skin was now burning fiery red. This was what Sasha did to him. "Now now... where is the waiter?" He yanked a waiter in swiftly by the tie. "Please, heaven requires a drink. Anything, as long as its cold. Help a man out." He begged the waiter discreetly. The drink arrived and he almost dived into the glass, he needed to cool off so bad.

Sasha had never seen Lazarus like this. He was normally so confident. She looked over at the window, and sighed in annoyance "don't they have anything better to do?" She wondered, rising and going to the door as Lazarus called the waiter over. "Hey!" She said to the girls, "scat! It's called personal space and privacy, go, run home, stop annoying us!" She didn't even wait for their reactions, heading back inside. Sasha sometimes had a problem with speaking her mind.

She sat back down with a small huff, and she smiled at Lazarus, seeing him almost trying to crawl into the glass. She swallowed, finding that she wasn't nervous herself. "Lazarus, those girls just want to be able to say they got to see you, or touch you and go run to their friends and squeal about it" she looked down at her hands, and the flower he had made her, now suddenly embarrassed.

She swallowed. "Um. Food?" She looked up, smiling shyly, quite unsure what to do now

He peered from over his glass, all of its content now gone. He coughed to clear his throat, smiling. "Ah yes." He pulled the same waiter in by the tie again. "Bring the most expensive meal you have for myself and my beautiful guest." He grinned before letting the waiter go. In a fairly quick response time, the waiter brought back a huge platter, with lots of different types of meats, vegetables, and strange fruits, all lined up. Lazarus smiled again. "Ok, what you do, is eat them in order like this." He started eating the pieces in line order. Each bit was only small, so one bit was enough. He paused. "At the end, you supposedly have a heavenly flavour in your mouth. Try it!" He smiled. As she would eat he spoke shyly. "Thanks... for getting rid of those girls. Sometimes being famous wizards doesnt pay off... it really pisses me off sometimes." He blushed somewhat.

Sasha stared at the platter, wondering when eating had gotten so complicated, yet she tried it, copying what Lazarus did, enjoying the taste of each, but wondered why you had to eat it in lined order. She shrugged, and smiled when he said about getting rid of the girls. She swallowed, and took a drink of her drink. "It was nothing, really. It annoys me that people think just because were wizards, and apart of Phoenix wing, that we are looking for attention. And I don't really care about being famous, so telling them to scat was actually quite enjoyable"

She shrugged again, before continuing to eat. With each bite, she felt better, stronger. Food was perhaps the quickest way of replenishing energy, and Sasha thought t was best to get her energy back as quick as possible. "I didn't mind doing it. This is awesome" she said, as she took another bite, finishing "Thank you"

As they continued their evening, Sasha found herself relaxing completely, at ease with Lazarus, and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. She was pleased when Lazarus walked her to her dorm, and she went to bed happy, and generally reflecting on the evening.

When she woke in the morning, she readied herself, dressing in her usual clothes, before heading to the guild hall for breakfast, only to stop at the big banner across the balcony above the bar. She stared at it, struggling for a minute to read it.

S Class Advancement Today!

Sasha wasn't too sure if there were any S-class Wizards in Fairy Tail, so this was bound to create hype. Even if Sasha didn't succeed in this, she would surely learn her place in the rankings.
Master Jamie stayed up half the night, discussing things with Jarvis, and generally sorting out his plan. Together, they organized what would happen the next day. Master Jamie believed that this would help bolster the guilds spirit, and give them something to aim for, as well as help them prepare for the next Ragged Brotherhood.

"Everyone should have a Chance. We should also state that this can help with their current rankings, as well as advance them from where they are now" Jarvis said, and Jamie nodded. She yawned, and added "I think two of the members being chosen for S Class is enough, although if a third performs well, then perhaps three. We shall see what happens tomorrow"

Master Jamie soon bid Jarvis goodnight, returning to her rooms. She was up early before everyone else, and was already in the guild hall, waiting for everyone.

Damian got up the next morning with a wide yawn and rubbing his eyes, climbing out of bed and shuffling like a zombie to his window. Squinting when the light from the opened window hit his eyes, he smiled when the sounds of the song birds hit his ears, quickly replaced by an urgent look when the pies he'd eaten the day before caught up to him. Rushing to the bathroom, he sighed in relief. Climbing in the shower while humming the same merry tune he had the day before, enjoying the feeling of peace he'd gained since joining the guild, even if he was still upset about the Ragged Brotherhood.

Climbing out of the shower, he puts on a light blue shirt and black pants under his armor, pulling on his combat boots and strapping on his swords. Stepping out of his dorm, he locks the door and heads into the hall, waiving merrily at Jarvis as he approaches the job board. Then he notices the banner with the S rank announcement and can't help but stare. "Is...is that for real?"

Mayt walked into the guild, and stared at the banner for about a second before heading past to the bar, he knew he wasn't anywhere near S-Class scale. He wasn't even sure how powerful you had to be to be S-Class. At any rate, he knew it wasn't him. No one had officially told him, but he figured at best he was a C class wizard. B minus on a good day. Mayt chuckled slightly at his own joke. Wizard classes weren't like grades, he knew that. He was almost tempted to tell someone the joke, but he figured it'd just make him feel and look awkward.

After his drink he stopped by the request board, though he had no intention of picking a job. Unless one really appealed to his exact nature. He had other plans, and he needed to talk to Sasha some time soon to enact those plans. They didn't directly involve her, but he knew she could tell him something he wanted to know. After running a cursory glance over the board, he would look behind him, hoping to quickly spot Sasha among the other guild members.

Angelo mother was still asleep in sasha room but Angelo was on the rooftop beam like always but this time Angelo didn't wake up from Mark since mark was down below and saw the banner and seriously woke up Angelo almost making him fall off his beam "what the hell mark!?" Angelo growled but mark squawked loudly at him and flew towards the job board and Angelo now noticed the s ranked banner announcement and Angelo quickly got his footing back on the beam and relaxed but only for a moment before jumping down to get to the banner.

Angelo was told he was an A ranked wizard and with his lightning armor he was able to make the step in an S class easy so Angelo wanted to make his way to the S ranked position and prove he could be the best, Angelo would do everything he could to make that rank and especially with his faithful crow by his side as mark landed on Angelo shoulder and Angelo waited for the guild master to say he would get a chance. After all Angelo was an A ranked and could make the cut if only he was given the chance...

Sasha looked to Master Jamie who just inclined his head, but there use gave no indication that she was going to answer. Master Jamie was in his usual appearance, and he wore a content smile, clearly waiting to see everyone's reactions.

Sasha turned to Damian and said "seems like it is for real" she said, before spying Mayt,, looking through the guild, and the members there. She went over to him, going him a smile. "Hey! Did you go on a job last night? I would have joined you, but I told Lazarus id go have a drink with him" she said. She was in a bright, happy mood, not even te impending S class test put her in unease. She looked up as Angelo cried out at his bird, "see! I told you you'll nearly fall off one day!" She called up to him, before looking back to Mayt

Mayt smiled at Sasha. "Hey." He seemed in a somewhat happy mood as well. "No I didn't actually get a job, I decided I couldn't do any of them before nightfall and decided not to, though However I was looking for you as I do have a question for you." He turned his whole body towards her, and through the opening in the front of his coat, it's evident he's expecting to travel. "Any chance is there a way to make contact with the Guild from far away? Quickly?" He crossed his arms, and for a second Sasha may see one of the bandages he had put on the previous night. His smile faded and returned to his normal stature. "Would be useful if something were to happen on a job or something and I needed to call for help."

Hearing Sasha, Damian nods to her in thanks absentmindedly as he goes to the bar and orders the same drink he had for the last couple visits and sipped it as he mulled over the possibilities. I was told by a guild master a year back I was an A rank wizard. Said she'd never seen such power by anyone but a choice few in her guild, herself included. Maybe... Damian let's the thought trail off as he orders another pie and eats it thoughtfully. Behind him the guild was a buzz with the debate over who would be chosen and how and when it would start. One of the wizards suggested there'd be a bout of combat and another thought it would be a test of endurance. He chuckled and just kept eating his pie. "Don't matter how it's done," he muttered, "just matters that it's happening." Looking across the hall, Damian spots Sasha and one of the others talking and he frowns. How had he not been introduced to the other sword wielder yet?

Sasha appeared puzzled at this question, and pursed her lips in thought, running a hand through her her. "Well, there's communication Lacrima, although I think they have to be paired, but...in theory, you should be able to contact them. Uh. But if you're going on a job that's that dangerous, that you need help from other guilds quickly, then its better to go with a partner, or form a team" She said, which made her remember that she'd agreed to team up with Lazarus.

That didn't mean that she couldn't team up with Mayt to, did it? She wasn't too sure, but figured if Lazarus was okay with it, she'd ask Mayt if he wanted to join them when he needed. "There's always a way, but Communication Lacrima are your best bet. The master uses them constantly to talk with other Guild Masters, and I suspect, to find out any rumors that are out there. Jarvis always has one on hand" She said, "I wish I could be more help, but I just have a basic understanding of most things..." Which wasn't strictly true, right now she was trying to read a book on Lacrima's, and their uses, and she was doing pretty well with it, and she was about to continue speaking when Master Jamie stood up on the bar, carefully not knocking over any glasses of drink.

"Right!" Master Jamie called out loudly, grinning, and pointing to the banner, "You may all be wondering about the S Class advancement, and if any of you aren't, then you're clearly blind. I made the sign big enough. We will be having a competition of sorts, since so many of you did well yesterday, despite the lack of reward from trying to save Aroway Island" She shot a glance over toward the Ragged Brotherhood's mark, before looking over the guild members again, "That I have decided to choose two of you for advancement. You will all get a chance to advance, whether you are A, B or C rank, but only two of you will be chosen for S class Ranking. We will be having a tournament-you will fight each other, and the winner shall become an S Class Wizard. The second one will be based on your performance-so you could lose in the first round, but still be chosen to be an S class wizard. So all of you, do your best! We will be starting in, oh, half an hour, so eat up, and relax until then. I'll put the draw up for who will be fighting who soon!"
