I must have had good rolls. I had all four of my orders succeed. Even my naval project went as planned, besides the cost. I thought it was going to be a little lower (or I just made an error in my head when estimating the cost). However, with the debts that are present in this game, I'm practically safe.

I kind of find it funny how everyone says that Japan has ignored peace talks when the only people who tried to talk to me were Nex and Boerd, and even then it was literally "Give me these lands now if you don't want to die."

Also, Southern Africa for some islands... what?

To be fair, the land I asked for was like... 0.000001% of Japan. Two tiny collections of small islands, only one of which is even visible on the map. For that I offered not only peace with myself but also all of the other European powers.

It was the way that you conducted your offer that made me say no cause it made me really suspicious. Since Boerd had no idea of your offer, I was really skeptical of your peace offer not to mention that you only demanded Dejima at first too. Plus, war hadn't been declared yet, so it felt kind of meta.

Yo, Outcast. Without telling us exactly what is does (if it's one of those spooky secret stats), does education do anything? There has been some talk about whether or not it does anything. Are we wasting our orders when we improve it, or...?

I once hand an order be completed because of my high education stat. However, I am unsure if the stat allowed it to succeed or whether that was flavor text (I specifically placed in my order to utilize my highly-educated populace).
