Emmie hears it on the way out and does a secret smile to Hex as to say thanks. When she gets to the kitchen she notices Jennifer day dreaming so she opens her secret sweet draw under the oven and takes one out quickly. She sucks on it as she makes orange juice. She prefers it homemade.

Taylor's smile faltered a bit, as she looked to Emmie who she could tell really didn't want anyone leaving right now. She sighed, getting up and rubbing Emmie's shoulder comfortingly as she tried to take a little of the stress off of her.

Kyo attempted to shake his hair back into place, though he supposed that it wouldn't matter too much even if some of it remained a bit ruffled. If it wasn't tied back, he really didn't expect it to stay completely neat. Seeing that some of the others were leaving the room, he wondered if they were done.

Jennifer couldn't stop thinking about the boy she met in the kitchen. She felt sorry for him that he couldn't talk. She had nobody to talk to or hang out with since her brother's death. But she knew he could start talking again when he was ready. Shes not gonna push him to talk. She will just wait for him when he is prepared. She sat at a tree near the swing as her hair blew in the wind.

Kyo eventually went back to the kitchen to get some more water. While he was at the sink, he glanced out the window to see Emmie and Jennifer underneath one of the trees together. The sight reminded him that he still did not have his notebook with him. I should really go get it from my room shortly... Taking a sip of his water, he resolved to do so as soon as he was done there.
