It's in Beta right now, so there are a lot of things that need to yet be implemented, but I've been having quite a bit of fun so far.

I've done 3 permadeath characters...who have all since died xD

Oh, it's definitely fun. If you like Terraria you'll most likely enjoy this. Just, like I said, Beta, so it's missing quite a few things atm, but it's still quite playable. Updates will be free, so no reason not to buy it now. 14.99

Worlds and enemies are randomly generated, save for bosses, and some enemies I haven't run into yet like the Pop-Tops that were submitted for a contest.

Are you running the game in OpenGL? I couldn't connect until I did that. It should be from the launcher menu and what not. I'll check the IP later, I actually can't be on at the moment.

No I am not, but I've connected to other servers just fine.
