Appearance: Minus a bit of the cape though. Stands at around 6' 5'', this is believed to be more then likely due to his great great grandmother (who is referenced but we do not know, still have a cookie for anyone who can guess. XD). His eyes are actually more of a sea blue color with dark brown hair. The dark sign can be located on his left shoulder blade on his back. He is fairly muscular, enough so to be able to wield the weapons he has at least.



Equipment: Estus Flask, Green Blossoms, some mosses, his sword and shield (see below), a greatbow that rarely comes out unless necessary with some greatarrows (again see image below), A knife mostly for eating purposes as well as shaving, his armor of course like in the appearance section of the bio

Greatbow: Twin-headed greatbow or he likes to call it the Penetrator (more references FTW!)


Backstory: It is said that one of his ancestors was a fair, maiden from a realm not of this plane (try to guess who I'm referencing and I'll give a cookie XD). It is unknown who she truely was but she had come to Ural when it was still a small town rather then a kingdom and gifted a child to a family who could never have any. With that as quickly as she had come to the village, she left, without saying a word or leaving a trace of being able to find her. The family raised this child and eventually this child would become to be Zaccar's great grandfather.
Zaccar was always a person of adventure and exploration. His favorite things as a child were the stories of old that talked about talltales of magnificent kingdoms and faraway places with heroic knights and the ever powerful lords that commanded them. His favorite being a tale of four knights under one lord who saved a realm from impending darkness caused by a powerful demon. Of course these were mere stories (or so they thought, with the time that has gone by some things disappear and are forgotten and reappear as mere tales), but these tales made him decide on what he wished to be as he grew older and older. He wished to defend his homeland and his fellow neighbor from what dangers there were in the world. That was what he did, he trained to be a knight, one skillful in the ways of sword and shield with a hint of cryomancy that was commonly practiced in Ural.
He was twenty-five when the first dragon in Ural was spotted and by then he was a knight in training, nearly done with his works. He and several others were sent out to combat the beast and he alone succeeded in making the killing blow, taking the skull as his trophy that he uses now as a shield to show his prowess in battle. His sword was gifted to him from his family something they said that had been with them for generations since his great grandfather had been left in Ural all those many years ago. A sword that's blade was a magnificent blue in color. He gave the sword it's first true name, Lunaira.
Yet his life would come crumbling down upon himself in due time. After the defeat of the dragon he was hero, he became a knight, and fell in love. When he turned thirty three though all that changed. A symbol appeared on him, one that was older then men itself, a symbol that could be viewed as a blessing as much as a curse. He was tainted with the dark sign and soon his memory began to fade into nothingness.
He arrived in Terrace, after three years of wandering but had no recollection of his past, only faded memories of people and nightmares that haunted him. He only knows that it had something to do with the dragons and believes that once they are all slayed he will gain what he has lost and only then be able to remember the truth. However is it better to not remember the grim truth and be happy or learn it and live miserably?.... (Foreshadowing FTW!)
The only thing he knows that has any relation to who he is, is one word spoken by the dragon he killed many years ago in its dying breath- "Crossbreed".
Upon entering Terrace he joined up with a covenant called the Remnants of the Sun, a covenant that he saw as being a worthy cause for a knight like himself.

Covenant: Remnants of the Sun (since the covenants did change between Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 I figured there would be new ones or old ones (which were also in Dark Souls 2) that have different names. Remnants of the Sun would be basically the Sunbro covenant but after the first game it's following would of shrunk down, people having little hope of the lords returning and that only darkness would remain. The Remnants of the Sun though would be the most faithful who banded together and slowly they are returning again.

Appearance: Vensi stands at an impressive 6'2" which is punctuated by his wiry muscular build, which he goes to great lengths to maintain and not go above or below such a frame. The moniker 'A.' in his name originates from his ash like hair, thick and flowing with a gray consistency like streams of ash erupting from his skull to trail back as he keeps his hair slicked back to meet just above the apex of his neck. His complexion is a large subject of contrast to his hair as his skin sports a fair olive glow, his tan would be more severe if he would not prefer the cover of shade as he originates from such an arid local. His deep brown eyes are pointed upward slightly at the tips, his nose sports a rather large bridge which compliments his oval jawline. His armor is designed around the concept of deception. A medium sandy beige cloak drapes from on top his shoulders down to around his waist line to conceal the armor that hides underneath. His trousers are a sandy hue meant to blend into the desert areas of his homeland and are tucked into calf high leather greaves that offer his knees partial protection as they connect to knee guards. Hard leather plates spaced out by breathable fabric lie under his trousers to offer concealed protection. Under his cloak is a folding hard leather jerkin attached to a heavier steel shoulder pauldron on his dominant right arm. The inside of the cowl and hood are padded.

Equipment: Estus, 1 Khopesh, 1 Kukri, 10 throwing knives, Desert deception armor

Backstory: Vensi was raised with only his father figure as the Mother he'd never known had departed soon after his birth in pursuit of life better than what his Father could provide, which was stealing whatever was not bolted down and unbolting all that was. Had she'd known about his father's Kleptomanic tendencies beforehand she would have not had let herself fall for his rougish charm. Having grown up with only the influence of his father he naturally followed behind his philosophy of gain through theft and had become quite proficient at the craft. He was confident in his abilty, so confident in fact that in his hubris he'd attempted to lift valuables from the kingdom of Terrace while in his traversal of the world to exploit the growing fear against that dragons, most would attempt to make their homes Dragon proof neglecting the inclusion of him. His theft while in Terrace did not go nearly as smoothly as he'd planned which led to his death and subsequent revival as a member of the Undead. Denial of his own failure was not enough to carry him once the truth was undeniable, he'd failed. But perhaps his redemption would be in the defeat of the Dragons, in return for amassing all of the riches the Dragons are said to keep stockpiled he allied with Terrace in their effort against the Dragons.

Backstory: Born in Vale, Kareth grew up believing that knowledge was power and attended the nation's most prestigious school of magic. After a few years, he left for a few reasons, firstly he had radical views on miracles, believing them to be simply a different kind of sorcery, and secondly he believed he had learned all he could at the school. Finally, the last thing to make him leave was the dark mark that had appeared on his skin. Kareth was quite enthused by the prospect of undeath, believing he could spend all eternity learning the secrets of the world. He doesn't quite remember how he got to Terrace, but he does know that he would like to unlock the secrets of the soul, and he could find answers in Terrace.
Covenant: None, but is willing to join any covenant that concerns knowledge.

Appearance: Altheia stands above most humans, though not by too much. She stands at a staggering 7'0" and sports a lithe frame muscled by practical, lean muscles formed from constant combat. Her back sports a scar running from her right shoulder down to her left side and her collarbone sports a similar scar running from her left shoulder down to just above her left breast. Her features are a good mix of curves and sharp angles, granting her a very exotic beauty that hearkens to a nearly predatory air. Her hair is worn very long, reaching down to her waist in its loose braid. Her skin tone is pale, almost ashen, and sports a slight blue cast. Her hair is almost pure white save for a very slight blue tint. Her hair is about four shades darker than her skin. Her eyes strike people quickly. They are solid orbs of sapphire and lack a pupil. When in her armor, the only parts not covered by lamellar plating is her joints. Her gauntlets have slightly extended plates to allow coverage of her elbow when her arm is straight and her shin plates do the same for her knees. Her entire body is covered in chainmail over padded cloth under the lamellar. Her hair hangs freely from the back of the helm. Her mouth holds what seem to be average teeth at first until one notices that her canines are long than normal and the incisors on each side of her canines also ends in a sharp point and extend slightly beyond that of her other incisors. When not in her armor, she normally goes barefoot and wears a long, practical dress that brushes her ankles as she walks. The dress sports an interesting aspect. Very fine steel chainmail is sewn between the two cloth layers, thus giving her very minimal protection in case of ambush.

Equipment: Healing plants (common plants equivalent to Estus), 2 falcatas, 1 schiavona, padded cloth armor covered with steel chainmail followed by full-body steel lamellar, two specially made gauntlets for parrying, steel corinthian helmet (less than inch space between cheek plates, nose guard extends into space, forming a nearly full face helm), Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring, two daggers in boots (Mostly used for utility and eating)

Backstory: Altheia grew up among demons. She had to fight to survive, had to kill to eat, and had to prove her worth at all times. Early in her life, about 150 years after birth, she got into a fight with a demon. His ally decided to attack her from behind. The demon attacked from the front. Both connected and drew blood. She retaliated and killed both, but the scars were permanent and became the only blemishes to her otherwise perfect skin. At the age of 160, she was summoned into the world, in the kingdom of Arnor. She was confused at first and lost. Her humanoid appearance and general lack of bloodthirst allowed her to pass inspection on more than one occasion. As she wandered the kingdom, getting her bearings, she began to take a liking to human society. They didn't kill for everything and they did not war for the sake of it. She grew comfortable and made her home in the capital city. As the decades passed, she developed a circle of friends and contacts and even publicly revealed her demonic nature. Old, now dead, friends crafted her weapons and armor and she meticulously maintains them to this day, careful to keep them always battle ready. As the curse began to arrive once more and once she heard dragons reappeared, some necromancers thought it would be wise to attempt to take control of her. Their attempt would have been successful on most demons, but Altheia found out she was not like most demons. She held a much calmer demeanor and also held a far, far greater willpower. She had a necromancer friend who tested the limits of her willpower. He found her immune to all necromancy meant to control demons. Why, they couldn't tell, but it was a great boon for a woman content to defend her friends and offer to defend the kingdom when Undead champions were called upon. She decided to join the ranks of the Undead to assist in their destruction of the dragons.

Covenant: None. Likely will not join one but is also restricted to "neutral" covenents

Out of curiosity what are the plans for boss encounters? I've been in one other Dark Souls RP and there were a few sort of boss encounters but they dragged on quite a bit which I think ultimately led to the RP's demise. I also question because I have an interesting idea for one if you wish to hear. It involves a past boss fight within the game itself but with a new twist thanks to some artwork I found.

I keep misspelling Altheia's name. For future reference, my sheet is the real spelling. It would be pronounced the same with or without the extra a, so if I misspell it, feel free to point it out or I'll probably catch it on my own.

you know, it's interesting that you would ask that. I actually had it planned out for a later post. but I might as well tell you now. some bus fights will be fought by all characters, while others may be forced to take a boss on one on one.

Sure. I can find a way to throw him in. You definitely won't be able to do the "Stand Underneath" technique. Not with what I have planned for him now.
