Hikaru slowly opened his eyes after some much-needed rest. "Morning guys." he yawned, stretching and scratching his ear with his hind leg. "Ready to go?"

From the sky, Kael spotted a party of various animals who had just barely woke up from their slumbers. His eyes glared in excitement. He faintly glided down to pheerch on the branch of the tree nearest to the party.

Under the shade of the tree, Kael vanished by the magic of his cloak. Under the cover of the shadow, he took the opportunity to scout them before he began his stealth attack. All he could see was a perfect scenario to conduct a stealth attack, some are barely awoken and some are still unconscious.

Mina had watched the whole ordeal annoyed, having walked along with Himeko when she approached the other fox. When she had returned she had reluctantly pulled back as well, taking place behind the swords and in front of everybody. Her shadow puppet still followed Himeko everywhere and had looked aggressive when she neared Charles.
She looked over at Anxius as he offered help and nodded. 'Sure, why not.'
The next morning Mina was exhausted. She hadn't taken a rest in the night and her shadow puppet had been active the whole time. She felt weak and tired, making her puppet disappear and yawning loudly. '...morning.....' she murmured tired.

Anxius' eyes flickered open. He lifted his head off the ground and yawned widely. He groaned and climbed to his feet. He turned around and looked at the state of the group. Most of them were still asleep. "Morning," He said to Hikaru and the fox. He glanced at the fox in concern. He knew she must have been very tired, and she certainly looked it. He should have stayed awake longer and helped her with the rest of the night watch. "How are you feeling?" He asked her.

Marcus hadn't slept, he was too fixated on putting down the fox called Charles, his yawn was mixed in with a low roar. "Hm...." He grumbled quietly, looking in the direction of his home, today had to be the day he reclaimed his home.

Himeko hops down from a tree and smiles at Hikaru and Mina. "I am well rested and ready for whatever journey we may take!"
She blinks a few times to clear her eyes. Although she was awake for a while she seemed to have rested in the trees.

Anxius let out another yawn and sat down. "So, who wants to do some training to wake up?" He suggested with a grin. "No powers, just skill..."
He pointedly glanced at Hikaru. He was larger than Anxius, but that wasn't a worry. There was a lot of competition with larger animals in Anxius' homeland; He was sufficiently trained to fight larger enemies. He had not, however, ever fought a wolf before. He was eager to learn this one's style of combat.

Marcus threw a glance toward Mina as she spoke, she sounded tired, he could plainly see how she fought sleep. The massive wolf neared her and managed a small grin. "You look like you'll collapse any minute now. Maybe you should rest..." He said, the way she stressed his suggestion made it seem more like a command.

Anxius stood up and stretched, "Well then, what do you say to a little duel then? First one to land a killing blow wins, but let's stop before any serious injury, shall we?" Anxius let out a chuckle. He turned to face the rabbit and smiled, "And you and I can have a duel afterwards as well."

Mina looked up at Marcus, yawning again. 'I...I'm fine.... really...' she was cut off by Luneth saying the same thing. She sighed and yawned once more before nodding. 'Fine. Wake me up when we leave though.' she said. Some shadows curled around her feet and she lay down on them, curling up.

"Sure, I'm up for that." Hikaru yipped. "Forgive me, I might really hurt you." The black wolf moved into position, about ten to fifteen pawsteps away from Anxius.

"Likewise!" Anxius exclaimed as he positioned himself. He stood there in a half-crouched hunting position. He had been taught this position many years ago. It was versatile, allowing him to easily go on the offensive or defensive. For now, however, he'd have to go on the defensive. He did not know how wolves fought, and it would be a good idea to wait and see.

"Go ahead and make the first move when you're ready," Anxius said. He immediately tensed, preparing for the expected attack. "And remember, no powers."
