"Word is you and your men rounded up some elves. Where are they", Feyd whistled for Witherfang and not long after the direwolf arrived by his side, the beast snarled revealing its teeth as it eyed down the other wolf.

Alex said "well well, I didn't know our group was watched so closely." The wolf growled back at the beast not showing fear. Alex place a hand on the wolf to calm him down. Alex then said "Now I don't know where my men are exactly, but for the right price I will send a message to my men to bring the elves here and hand them over no questions asked."

Feyd thought over his decision as he calmed Witherfang. "And how can I know you won't take my coin and run off with my people?", Feyd wasn't going to take a chance without insurance.

Alex said "I'm a man of my word, If I lied to my clients then I wouldn't have a business." Alex then whistled and a hawk flew down. When the hawk landed on Alex's arm, Alex handed it a medallion and it flew off. "my men shall arrive shortly with the elves." Alex said "In my honest opinion I don't care who buys them and what they do with them, since I've sold both human and elf slaves."

"Your word isn't good enough but what is your price. I'll pay for the elves but you stay here until they arrive and once you have released them I will pay you.", Feyd glanced at the hawk as it flew away before continuing on to say, "You sell both elves and human? Then that just makes you worse. You have no allegiance to anyone except the man with the biggest coffers. I'd be doing this city a favor by killing you but that'd be doing the humans a service as well. I tell you what, my organization has no love for humans but we have coin. You capture certain targets for us we pay you for their retrieval. Do we have a deal?"

Uhl closed his eyes. "I beg you to forgive my insolence, your grace. I was merely following the orders of the Powerful Lord Farieh who had bought my life and existence with 3 shekels of silver." the elf bowed his head until his face was hidden from sight. Uhl was happy actually. Nowadays, it's quite hard to get even with these monstrosities known as humans, however, if he could piss them off, then that is worth something. The elf servant stood up as he did an extremely low bow, slowly rising in the process while maintaining his eyes on the floor. "Thank you for your utmost mercy, your highness. Please, excuse my presence." Uhl bowed again while he slowly left the throne room. The royal court members were now beginning to pile in the dining room; they grabbed the food with such greed in their eyes, causing Uhl to be repulsed with such display. A sight caught Uhl's eyes-- it was the princess who had left the room!

"What could she be up to?" Uhl mumbled to himself as he quickly followed through with the princess. Uhl followed silently and surreptitiously, making sure that the shadows were covering him. He thought that the princess would take the food, and gobble them all up-- hiding just to cover her 'royal' image. However, what he saw surprised him greatly: the princess merely began to consume her food slowly, and what's more, she spared some morsels for the animals. This was an act that was highly rare in this desolate hell. Her eyes were fixated upon those poppies-- the poppies that he had planted in the past. Uhl smiled softly as he realized that this princess was something else though.

Uhl cleared his throat and straightened his uniform as he edged closer to the princess. "Pardon my insolence, your highness, but your family members are dining in the Royal Hall. The garden isn't the safest place for a royal such as yourself." Uhl bowed while keeping a reasonable distance from the princess. Uhl chuckled as he observed some of the squirrels and other creatures took the bread that the princess gave. "Giving the animals lereth or elven cooked bread would make them bigger beyond the average size, your grace."

The elvish servant sighed deeply as he approached the poppies, and uttered a small incantation. "Halya Mereth" Uhl smiled as he picked one of the poppies, and examined it. "In elvish, these poppies' names mean Festival of Shades. When these flowers bloom, they signify the elvish feast to begin." the elf's eyes were distant as if he saw a ghost of the past; the memories of the last feast he would attend. Uhl shook his head as he turned to the princess, and extended the poppy in his hand. "Forgive my talkativeness, your grace. Whatever is in this kingdom is rightfully yours-- especially, these poppies that I had planted." Uhl chuckled softly as he gave the poppy to the princess.

Alex said "600 shekels silver for all four of them which is cheep." Alex scowled at the comment about selling humans and said "I would like to point out that all elves and humans I sell have S banded on the back of their neck which classifies them as slaves, I do not kidnap humans or elves from the free cities and sell them." Alex then said "Also I'd like to mention that my highest paying client the great King Emery so be wary who you ask me to capture." Alex smiled and said "After all members of your organization have a 200,000 shekels gold reward out for them, but if you give a good price I may be willing to consider your offer." Alex then glanced at the direwolf "and if your friends in the organization have security like that around they won't have to worry about my group, we prefer not to risk our lives for gold."

The cart arrived and the other bounty hunters took out the elves and walked them over next to Feyd, but left the cuffs on them. One hunter handed Alex the key and the others returned to the cart waiting to see the sale go through. Alex then said "alright here are your elves, hand over the gold and you will get the key to release them."

Anya was startled by uhls appearance, she smiled and listened to him talk of elves and their traditions. She squealed softly when a squirl took the bread and ran off, they must be ajusting to her being here so often "But Uhl my family is boring! The company of you and these beautiful flowers are all i want" she said a took the poppy happily, not too swiftly though because that to her always showed disrespect. A sigh could be heard from her and she quietly finished her food, but a small round biscuit lay untouched "Here uhl, you can have this .. but keep it hush hush" she said in a whisper and quickly shoved it in her pocket. Anya smiled brightly and twirled in her dress, she pinned the poppy to the front of her and did a small spell that would make it stay in place.

Feyd examined the elves for a moment in silence before tossing a satchel of silver shekel to Alex, "That's 600, plus an extra 200 hundred. Think of it as an invitation, meet me in the plaza at the end of this alley tomorrow night so we can discuss a possible business venture"

Smiling, the elder druidess watched as Uhl and princess Anya was talking. Originally, Sylvestra had waited by the exit to perhaps speak to Uhl, but upon seeing the Princess approach the gardens she had quickly scurried to make the place presentable. Not that it wasn't, it was just something her masters had beaten into her - always make sure the gardens are at their best if royalty comes.
From a nearby tree, she watched them. She didn't know it was Uhl who had planted those poppys, but she was glad he had, wherever he had gotten them from. They did after all remind her of the festival Uhl told the princess about.

Approaching them, Sylvestra bowed. "Good evening milady Anya. Uhl." she nodded to the elf servant. "What brings you to my gardens at this time? It is supper, is it not?" she tilted her head and smiled, trying to be as polite and nice as possible.

Uhl smiled as the princess accepted his gift, and best of all, she placed it where anyone could see it in the open. Truly, this woman was really different from her kin. Uhl turned away, however, the princess motioned for him to take something. Was it a biscuit? Was it the same biscuit that he had cooked? Uhl smiled at the irony of it all. The elf bowed his head as he thanked the princess profusely. "I will forever remember your kindness, your grace."

Uhl's eyes darted to another figure who had appeared from the shadows. However, he relaxed upon seeing that it was only Lady Sylvestra of the Druidic Division. Uhl had only seen Sylvestra few times since they belonged to quite different worlds; Uhl was in the Assassination division while Lady Sylvestra belonged the magic oriented sectors. The last time he saw Lady Sylvestra was during the climax of the Human-Elven war, specifically, before Uhl and his fellow elite warriors would be sent off to the battle; this was the same battle where Uhl would be captured.

"I am honored to be in your presence, La-- I mean, Sylvestra." Uhl omitted the title so as to prevent some eavesdroppers to know that Uhl would have some connections within the castle; he was still keeping his helpless and blind image intact so that no Bounty Hunters would come for him. "It is indeed suppertime, however, the princess desired to break away from her relatives. I merely came out here to watch over her."

Uhl looked around the garden, keeping his still functioning right eye on Sylvestra. "This is a nice garden, Sylvestra. Rina amin en' eska (it reminds me of home). Ta naikelea (it is painful though)." Uhl nodded softly.

"Oh my, Feyd." Vindle said as he walked up to Feyd and Alex. He wore a long black robe and had a hood over his head.
"You beat me to my kill, but... you don't seem to be killing them. Why is this?" he said.

Sylvestra couldn't help but smile at Uhl. She didn't know this side of him. He was gentle and kind. She also understood why he refrained from calling her "Lady". If any human of the royal or noble houses would hear them, they would surely accuse them of conspiracy. The princess could even get in trouble. "Oh? Does the princess not wish to be in the royal company? I cannot blame her." she said, smiling as she looked at the princess. "It makes me weary as well. All the bickering, the politics... I prefer the fresh air and the verdance of the gardens. She opened her arms and took a deep breath, then looked back at Uhl to continue their conversation. [i]"This is a nice garden, Sylvestra." he said, then added in elvish "It reminds me of home. it is painful though..." to which Sylvestra nodded in response, her smile dropping somewhat. "Thank you." she said in common, then switched to elven as well. [i]"I have made it much like our homeland on purpose. Many elves under the King's boot find their way here, for comfort and solace when their masters abuse them or drive them too hard... But it grieves me also, to know our land is lost to us. Yet, I believe that in pain there is healing." she said. The last sentence was a common elven saying that perhaps even Anya had heard, "Et parnethas sin'kvalost", roughly meaning "In pain there is healing.". It was much more common these days...

"Ah Vindle, how have you been? I've just bought the freedom of these elves. As for the Hunter I was hoping to procure his services and I think you might be interested as well", Feyd motioned to Vindle to follow as he made his way towards the Fox's Den. "Come we'll discuss it over a drink", said before turning back towards Alex "Not you however. We'll meet here. Tomorrow."

"Well, if you insist, we'll discuss it. I was supposed to bring the hunters back alive anyway, so if I had gone overboard I woulda gotten into a heapa trouble." Vindle said as he followed Feyd.

Arriving at the Fox's Den Feyd handed Vindle a mug of ale as the two sat at a table. Feyd took a sip of his before speaking, "So lately we've been conducting supply shipment raids or guardsmen attacks. I think it's time we made a more drastic step towards the throne"

Vindle took a sip of his, then set the mug down.
"As you may have noticed, I've already started taking drastic steps since long ago. Just me isn't enough, though, so I agree that everyone as a whole should start as well. Trusting an enemy, though... that's jumping a small staircase, not taking a step. The step I want is a rather large one itself, but conducting attacks on enemies should become a bigger priority. It's strange to hear me of all people say this, but capturing would be better than killing to squeeze out information. Expanding our territory should also become a bigger step. We need to become a significant threat to the king; we need a real war. I don't know about all of you, but I'm willing to take significant risks. As long as I get the royal family in the end. You know me, I sometimes torture my enemies before killing them; I've got special things set aside for the royal family." he said.
"Well, that's my two cents. You could say I do too much talking, so it's more like three cents." he said after taking another sip.

Feyd chuckled at Vindle's last remark, "Then I got the risk you've been wanting to take. To put it simply, we kidnap the princess" the smug look on Feyd face along with his confident sip of his mug only enforced his seriousness. Even Witherfang tilted his head almost as if asking his master if he was alright. "That bounty hunter has had dealings with the king. Frequently. We can act as prisoners that he has captured, and when he brings us to the king we are taken into the castle and down to the dungeons. We will have a concealed weapon with us in case something goes wrong while we hire a smuggler to get our gear in with us. Once inside we wait until nightfall to escape the dungeons and search the castle for the princess, then it's simply a matter of getting out with her and bringing her here" Feyd's eyed glowed with ambition as he awaited Vindle's answer, "So, what say you?"

"Your still trusting the bounty hunter! Bleh! I'll go along with the plan, yes, but promise me two... no, three things. First, if I sense enough suspicion, I'll capture the bounty hunter and use him as one of my torture toys. Second, when we arrive back with the princess, don't tell anyone here about her capture yet. Third, I will kill and capture anyone I want in the castle, and you can't stop me." Vindle said.

"You always were a sinister bastard. Alright tell you what I'll let you take the bounty hunter, the girl will be held at one of my safehouses without the rebels knowledge, but I can't let you kidnap the king. He needs to be where he is in order for us to get what we want. Anyone but him is fair game. So are we in agreement?", Feyd took a big gulp of his mug, finishing his ale and slamming the mug onto the table.
