Welcome to those who have ventured onto my interest check!. As you can tell, I am new to the site, but I am most definitely not new to Roleplaying. I have been Roleplaying for nearly three years now. First off, I am looking for about four-ish, fairly active, literate writers, (my grammar and spelling is often far from perfect, but please don’t make me have to decipher your posts.) Romance is a must for each of my plots - but it must be realistic romance, (no love at first sight) and it needs to be intertwined with a fancy plot. I am fine with all mature themes, and would like them included into our RP. (Gore, violence, sex, swearing, etc.)

For fandom RPs, do you use OCs or canon roles? I personally prefer canons be used rather than OCs but an exception may be made.

I have most always preferred OC's. I should have probably included that in my post.. Was there any specific fandom you had in mind?. if so, perhaps you could shoot me a PM?.

I was eyeing Hunger Games, Harry Potter, The Walking Dead or possibly Game of Thrones or Attack on Titan but the later two aren't as big as the other three are, interest wise. But if you're into OCs and I'm into canons, I'm not sure we may make a good match, the only possible exception I may bend on for OCs might be The Walking Dead but I fear some would make their roles ooze cliche tragic stories and while everyone has lost someone, I try to avoid too much drama with histories or personalities with OCs. OCs for me just tend to be a bit lack luster I may compromise and do a mixture but again, it would depend on the OCs. I'd PM if you thought we may be able to work something out though which is why I'm sticking to here at the moment.

I would in fact be most interested in doing a Walking Dead Roleplay. What if we did a Canon x OC Pairing?. And I actually agree with you 100%. I try to make my backstories as non-cliche as a possibly can, I enjoy creating unique backstories.- ones which aren't always focused on tragic events, because of course most everyone would have them. (I wouldn't focus on the personality much.) If you are still interested, I would be more than happy to work something out with you, you seem like someone I would enjoy Roleplaying with.

I could get behind The Walking Dead I suppose. I think with them, I may be inclined to try canon x OC but would you be open to playing one of each possibly? I wouldn't the inverse if we're both happy (not inverse, but compromise rather) if we we did canon x canon and OC x OC. That is also another idea but shipping in the show is pretty sparse, I will admit and the slice of life + survival aspect will need to be handled carefully but I personally love the ups and downs of finding camp, setting it up, foraging for food etc.

Yeah, I could play one of each, no problem. Just warning you ahead of time, I will try my absolute best, but I may not be the best at portraying canon characters. I totally agree. I love the brutal nature of the Walking Dead, and would like all of my Roleplays to be as realistic as possible. If you are still interested, I would love to flesh this out further.
