"Why hello there!" I flash the cute girl in front of me one of my best smiles. "You must be Lyra Snow? Yes?"
Giving the girl a once over I take in all the information I can...
Definately a proud member of the geek subgenre of secondary popularity. Flitting eyes, used to absorb data at a fast rate and respond to it in kind. Definately a computer specialist. The way her cheeks pucker, and the way her tongue ran along her teeth before greeting me indicate the recent and likely consistent consumption of high levels of refined sugar mixed with citric acid, maybe a powdered candy or a sour candy. Dominant female personality, used to being among the most intelligent people in the room, as indicated by the arch of her eyebrows when she gave me her look over. Clever. Intuitive. Takes personal pleasure out of the realness of people as opposed to the masks they wear, of which she is highly aware. More likely to enjoy the symbolism of art over the beauty of the picture. Good. I definitely like this person.
"I as you know am Anjii Mikame. It is a pleasure to become apart of your family. I understand you are in the middle of business, but would it be possible to meet the individuals I will be working with? Also, I love the hat. Very cool."

Faeya saw the new kid walk in and she walked over to him and Lyra. "Hello, you must be the new host. Whenever you are comfortable, please join our hosts and hostesses in entertaining these fine women and gentlemen." She turned to Lyra and said "you are wanted for your services, gamer girl." She glanced back at the new host then said "Kaito! We have a new host! You should make him our initation coffee." She smirked slightly before going back to serving the customers.

The girl who just greeted me... Not quite traditional but definitely strict parents. Definitely believes in the value of hard work, The whiteness of her teeth indicates either an obsession with brushing her teeth or a preference for tea over the instant coffee I smell brewing. More than likely both. Small girl, but clearly self conscious about it. Cute girl... likely a hit with the guys, but probably has trouble with the more pervy of them... wait scratch that. Probably smashes their faces with a frying pan and a smile. Seems the type to have a violent outburst when someone is being assholey... mental note. Refrain from being an asshole around her.
On the small, cute girl's suggestion and to free up the Gamer Girls timetable I sit down and wait for the water to get hot for my coffee. While I am waiting a girl... sixteen, second year student....in the Ouran uniform sits down in front of me...
"Hello Anjii! i requested you because you're new! I like new things!"
"An advocate of change then?" I respond with my signature smirk.
She smiles back. My test of her intelligence indicates she is happily surprised to discover mine, as opposed to awed or jealous of it. Moderate to high IQ, good study skills.
"And what if I am such an advocate? What could you tell me about change, Anjii?"
That you are afraid of it.
"Please call me Mikame, that old custom is so droll. Or if you prefer, you could call me Mika..."
Her smile widens.
She liked that. Unconservative. Believe's a new world needs new rules, perhaps she even has an interest in making those rules... I can't tell if she's a protester or politician yet though...
"Well...Mika..."
She begins curling her hair around her finger.
Nervous habit, she's preparing her words carefully. Politician.
"What can you tell me about change?"
"I can tell you change is necessary. It becomes apart of people often quicker than they realize it's happened. Only by looking back and seeing the way they were do they see what they've changed, and what they've become."
"But some people can't change Mika... isn't that so?"
"No. it isn't."
She is surprised by this seemingly unintentional contradiction of her views...
"People all change. No matter what. And when faced with truth and facts they will always be changed by it. However, they can choose not to seem affected by it. They can choose to pretend that they don't care, and it's often an expression of their need to be accepted by others. Why do you think ignorance statistically coincides with child abuse? it's because it isn't a coincedence..."
She is impressed by this logic and how its contradiction with her views still lines up with them perfectly. She's hooked.
"Well Mika! I'm gonna have to request you more often!"
"I'd appreciate that greatly miss...?'
"Haname Ozukoshu. But you can call me Hannah."
"Of course, Hannah." I smile a little bigger..."I'd appreciate the intelligent company. Sadly many people of the intelligent variety in this school are also resistant to displaying that intelligence. Being smart just isn't fashionable anymore."
...Our converstation lingers on awhile...

Lyra smile and waved goodbye to him and sprinted over to her table where the beginner hacking girl was waiting. "Hello Mirano! What do you need help with today?" She asked sitting down next to the girl.
"Well I finally got the software to hack into video cameras but I can't figure out how to enter the IP of a computer." The girl, Mirano, said her eyes flickering around.
"Okay so you better grab a notepad so you can write this down..." Lyra said as she started explaing

Faeya smirked as everyone worked, happy with her job. She sat with her gentlemen and smiled softly at them. One boy asked "are you planning on finding someone here?" Faeya replied in a charming yet innocent voice "well, I do plan on doing what anyone would want to do, but let's not talk of things that hasn't happened yet. I'd rather hear about how you keep yourself so handsome?" The boy blushed slightly. "How can you be so cute?" Another one would say. She blushed softly and said "I'm not cute. You all just make me so nervous that I act weird." The boys all had hearts in their eyes, Faeya blushing even harder. This is what I don't like about this. I always end up blushing even if I started off flirting! she thought to herself.

"Aha... alright then." Smiling at Faeya and grabbed the tea tray.

"Faeya, that table over there. They look like they need something." He whispered to her ear and pointing at a table near the piano. "Just call out if you need any help. And proceeded on his way with his tray.

Responding to Lyra's cheerful greeting along with everyone, Kaito walked over to a specific table with girls and gently settled the tray down.
"Tea made by our very own hostess. She makes the best teas for the club. You won't be disappointed." He informed with no emotions at all and bowed, yet this uplifted the girls and made them quietly squeal and make soft whispers.
"Thank you, Kaito-kun!"
"Thank you!"
Kaito then stood up straight and added "Please do ring the bell if you need anything."

The door creaked open and took Kaito's attention. Peering through it was a head of silver hair and eyes of dark color. Pretty much purple. He then pushed himself inside the room as eyes and happy greetings swarmed around him. Kaito couldn't take the thought of somewhat seeing him before. A friend? An old classmate? Someone he ran into a shop somewhere? ...Impossible. He rarely left his own home.
(...Oh... could he be the...new one?)
He remembered going through the club website to check for any updates for the new year and saw a new face in the Host Applications. The faces were exactly the same to the young man he's staring at the moment.
While Lyra and Faeya greeted him a warm welcome, he assessed him carefully from head to toe.
"Kaito! We have a new host! You should make him our initation coffee." Faeya screamed out. Kaito flinched and paused for another second to look at him before he leaves to make the welcoming brew.

Carefully holding the cup on the palm of his hands, he turned his head left and right to look for the newbie,..... and there he was, seated at a table next to a girl. Their conversation seemed deep and important, but nonetheless, Kaito didn't mind. Once arrived, the two of them turned their attentions to Kaito. "Forgive me for interrupting." He settled the cup of coffee in front of the new host.
"Our Initiation Coffee. Served to welcome our new hosts and guests. Brewed with one of the finest and expensive coffee beans." He casually introduced and bowed. "Welcome to the Host Club."

*skip a few hours till service is over*

"I hope to see you next time!" Lyra said smiling and waving as her last customer of the day left.
