Adelaide smiled lightly... this strange woman thought her reliable, even though she was poised to kill her just moments ago. Her charm did that to people, it made her seem likeable dispite a cold and harsh personality.

In a birdlike gesture, Adelaide cocked her head to the side as she looked up at the pale woman. It wasn't everyday that Adelaide met someone that she had to look up to, let alone it be a woman. The glowing gold spirals in her eyes seemed almost hypnotic and Adelaide stepped closer, a little too close for most people to find comfortable, but Adelaide's allure let her get away with a lot of things. Her fingers still gripped her bow, ready to react, as she called down a rain to quell the flames surrounding them.

"You find me reliable... and in the ways of war and pillow play, I am. But you knew nothing of that... you hardly know of who and what stands before you. I will be your guide if you give me answers. What are you? You seem more than human" The question was personal, brash and completely rude, but that was Adelaide for you. Plus... this journey would be long, and payment in some form was required.

As Finnagin dashed out of the pub the owner ran out screaming for him to stop. Like hell that was going to happen, at least that is what he thought. His leg was pulled from under him while he was trying to jump a stack of crates and his head slammed against the crates giving him a right surprise. After taking a moment to regain his composure he looks towards his feet to see fire looped around his ankle leading off to a mage of some kind. This mage kept Finnagin wrapped up until the 'proper' authorities showed up to see what the disturbance was. The anchorites decided it would be best to take Finnagin in for questioning, which just wouldn't do. Luckily the mage made a grave mistake and dispelled his flame whip giving Finnagin the chance to cast some magic of his own.

As this mage walked towards the pub Finnagin said to him,
"Ye call me the pathetic one, but as I recall it was you who blindsided me. Seems like ye just to much of a coward to fight a fair fight"
Calling on his innate ability of magic Finnagin flung the guards back and jumped into the sky. "and I have somewhere to be, so i have to skip on this lovely get together" pushing himself with wind magic he began to fly out of town.

Hael headed towards the inn she planned on retiring in for the night. She had been hoping to find the inn before sundown, but unfortunately it had taken a longer time for her to finish her business than she had expected. She'd been bartering with a butcher about selling her fresh game, but the man had not been very fair. Still, Hael had pressed for the price and received fair pay. It was enough to cover her meals and room payments for a while, which was satisfying to Hael.

A commotion up ahead turned her attention to a nearby pub. She watched as a man ran from a pub, was apprehended, and narrowly escaped. This thief irritated Hael. How could someone who obviously does not work to be able to eat and drink be allowed to escape so easily? She worked hard to survive as she traveled the isles, so a thief like this was an insult. With a swift flick of her wrist, the wind that the thief had been using to aid in his escape was suddenly pushed by a stronger gust of wind. This wind aimed to overcome his and send him falling back to the authorities watching him in anger.

Finnagin made it about 5 feet into the air before a stong gust of wind slammed against him slowing his ascent into the air. He held his wind magic to keep aloft but not go any higher.

"Now who is messing with me now" Finnagin Screamed, he looked down on the now gathering crowd "Show ye self, and face me fury!" With these words Finnagin summoned up fire in his hands, increasing the strain to keep himself aloft. He struggles for a moment but through his anger at his aggressors he keeps going. Seriously at this rate he will never be able to reach his uncle to get the money he needs to pay the pub owner.

With fire in his eyes, and now his hands Finnagin searches for his persistent opponents.

Morwyn awkwardly bowed in return -- she wasn't going to attempt curtsying in pants -- and hesitantly joined him by the fire.

"Well," she started slowly, "You'll forgive me for being frank, sir, but I am the illegitimate daughter of one of the, ah, lesser nobles. I'll think you'll understand if I don't want to name him. His wife was the jealous sort you see, and he feared for his reputation, but he had a kind heart so he sent my mother off where she'd be safely removed from those silly court politics. He paid for a tutor in secret and so I learned to write. Though I've always been more interested in sword fighting," she cleared her throat and stared at the ground, "which as you can imagine he never approved of." Morwyn figured the lie would be uncomfortable enough to discourage him from prying further.

She paused. "What makes you think the Scots aren't involved in that debacle you described? You don't trust your brother's judgement?" If there was trouble brewing between Scotland and Ireland she needed to know. She wouldn't want to get caught in Perth with that sort of tension going on.

Hael frowned lightly when the thief managed to stay aloft. She ceased pushing against him with wind, not wanting to waste more energy on such a scene. The growing crowd unnerved her. She'd been hoping to stay in the shadows, but unfortunately it seemed like she jeeded to step forward and take responsibility for her actions. The thief would get away if she left, now.

"There is no need for a fight," Hael said, cautiously stepping forward and eyeing the man. "Return to the ground and pay this man for what you have taken." She watched the flame in his hand, ready to defend herself in case his inhibititions were squandered by the drink he had stolen.

The gust forcing him down suddenly let off and a women stepped forward seeming to take responsibility for attack on Finnagin.

"What do ye think i was trying to do? First the crazy fire whip guy and now you!" Finnagin drops too the ground and puts down his hood revealing a young Scotsmen with spiky red hair. He checks a pocket watch and says, "Now you've done made me late for supper, and that is not even counting the time I have to take to get some money and pay my tab at the pub!"

Getting quite heated Finnagin flared up the two fireballs in his hands and looked strait at the women. "So what be your problem with me!?"

Hael's eyes sparked with interest as the Scotsman revealed his face. It was peculiar for him to be in Dublin during such times. Especially when there had been rumors about Scottish attacks on Ireland soil.

As he started another flame in his other hand, Hael looked up into the man's eyes. The gathering crowd made it difficult for her to be comfortable with a fight. Plus, she was tired and did not want to squabble over someone who claimed could pay his tab. "I believe there has been a misunderstanding, here. Perhaps if you had told the owner of the pub that you would pay him later, this would not have escalated to this point," she said, before a thought sprung into her mind. "It was also foolish to stop to eat without proper pay before going home to supper. You had no need to eat, unlike others who live day by day on what little they have." She held up both hands in a sign of peace. "I do not wish to fight. I only ask that you assure this man that you will pay him.'

Gandor returned hearing the insults towards him then seeing another magic user deal with the thief. Gandor sighed "come down here. i think an apology is order. your a fellow Scotsman. i will pay for the tab and then you, me and this fine gentleman(meaning hael) can go to your uncle and pay me back. i believe this will solve everything yes?" Gandor asked making sure everyone was in agreement. "so come down and we can sort this out like civilized people"

(sorry this is short holidays and all. i will fix it up when i have time)

Finnagin killed his flames as he stared at the women, he then turned around and started walking towards the outskirts of town.
"I don't think you know me enough to question what I do little lady." he points towards the Scotsman,
"As for you, you may follow me to me uncle's if you wish. Though I warn you its quite a far walk for he does not live in Dublin but a farm in the country side."
Finnagin stops and flips around with a gust of air and looks at the two. "By the way the name is Yahutz Finnagin"

John chuckled after Morwyn finished her little story but he was glad she had come over to the fire. Perhaps she was beginning to let her guard down a little.

"Sounds just like a typical noble, they have a way of having unexpected progeny."

"My brother is a strange sort. He seems normal enough but often he entertains ideas of conspiracy and paranoia. They are mostly harmless but I fear he will cause more than a few wild goose chases during his reign. He has no evidence to back this accusation on and there is no way the Arthurian Alliance sould be broken by the Scotts. There is simply no motive for them to do so."

John looked the woman over again, despite her earlier comments she didn't seem to have much weight and her stature wasn't suited to warfare.

"Forgive me but, you don't seem much of the sword fighting type. How long have you been training?"

Hael frowned lightly, eyeing the two Scotsmen. She glared at Finnagin. "It's been a pleasure, Finnagin, but I best be on my way." She had spent too much time fooling around with this idiot. She needed rest. The gathering crowd was beginning to disperse, anyways. She would be able to slip away without drawing attention now. "I am Hael, by the way. I hope you fare better in the future." With a nod, Hael turned and began to walk towards the inn, sighing. She pushed her hair back from her face, her fingers brushing against the hair-like feathers in them. The day had been too long, especially with such an event like what had just occurred.
