I'm pretty sure you go lower level but not higher. You can have level one helpers because they are so weak.

Anyone want to fight Evvie? She got accepted. My mad scientist is already planning on fighting someone.

Do you know what sucks? Being horribly behind on editing and having to edit a 30 minute episode and render it out with a deadline is exhausting work, not to mention that it eats up time.

Oh noes! The skin stealer? It would make sense to fight in the sadist maze. Evvie could fly out of the hole, but out of curiosity to explore the maze she won't.

Between his toxic breath thing working good on unprotected flesh (and her general lack of poison resistance) and a complicated maze with traps giving Evvie questionable odds of figuring out, I suspect that she won't last 10 minutes. Anyone want to place bets? Higher or lower?

You mistake some things though, his toxic breath is effective against living being. It's his hex that is effective against revealed flesh, though it's more like throwing symptoms rather than poisons.

Here's the first set of Evvie faces that I'll use in my rpg game whenever I find the time to start creating it. Normal and determined, the top left and bottom right, admittedly look too similar now that it's in a smaller sized format (to fit into the game) so I'll have to change it a bit. I could also make sad a more obvious frown. The others are still pretty obvious. Making a realistic happy face was the hardest of all. You won't see her scared face much in the game but it was best to include in anyways just in case. Feel free to suggest additional emotions you'd like to see added in the next set.

I'll need to add guilty, embarrassed (kind of similar looking to guilty?), love, shouting, wounded, sleeping...hmm...two more to make another complete set. Maybe pouting if I can make that look different enough from the normal angry. Then...greedy?

Hungry will be her default face image used. She'll have drool all over.

I forgot to added surprised. Cocky is another common expression for her. And insulting. But I already used her sticking her tongue out as playful so I don't know how to make it look insulting unless she had angry eyebrows or something.

I'll give a shot at translating the japanese, substituting what I don't know or what could be going on. Let's see...
"This weird monster lady drowns? However, I and the child in darkness's world is living?...so choose well!"
Umm...maybe I wouldn't trust my translation very well. The moral of the story is that I need to befriend a certain boy in darkness's world in order to beat the monster lady who drowns people...wouldn't it be funny if that was actually what it said?
