Starlight felt her blood soak her fur as she stood up limping to Silver. She gave silver a look saying 'Your going to be okay I promise'. She carefully crouched under Silver and stood making Silver go on her back so she wouldn't have to walk on her wounds. She ignored the pain that flooded her body and walked a little faster letting out a howl

Silver pulled her self off of Starlight with a kind smile "it's okay Star it's really not that bad" she lifted her black head to look at Ice an Angel fighting the last of the enemies patrol party, Silver limped lightly across the small clearing in case they needed help, but it didn't look like they did, as a shiver of pain shot through her body from her many wounds she fluffed up her thick black pelt and took the weight off her bad leg as she stood several feet away from the fight.
Star nodded but wanted to keep a eye on Silver just in case anything happened she can help. But she was keeping track of the fight and she knew Silver was too. They both were going to help if anything happened. She just kept ignoring the pain that came from the battle wounds. She felt something sticky on her pelt and took a whiff of the scent. Blood. Star smiled a small smile tho, she was glad she got here to help Silver with the wolves.

With a ferocious howl, Blaze and four other wolves ran out of the night to make sure that Silver and Star were OK. "I apologize for not joining the fight here, Silver. They attempted to flank us. The others and I had to scare them off." He could smell blood on both of them, some of it belonging to them, some to the other pack, which he allowed himself a mental grin. There had yet to be another pack that could best the one he belonged to. "How many are here?"
Ice lunged forward at the she wolf that Angel was still struggling with and he sunk his teeth into her flank, causing her to yelp out in pain and then turn tail and run off. Ice then stood protectively over Angel and looked down to make sure that she wasn't harmed. "Are you alright?" he asked her.

Silver turned to Blaze after watching Ice send the enemy wolf running "That was the last one" turning to look at their leader she licked her leg that was throbbing with pain "is everyone okay?" She looked back at Starlight who didn't look so great then to Ice who looked like he was fairing all right "I feel that could have gone worse, I think, Ice that they were trying to extend their borders, with that fight." Trailing off she looked back at Blaze and the wolves making sure they were okay as well.

Blaze nodded, ignoring the pain caused him by a bite on his scruff. "I'm fine, as are most of the wolves who joined me, Beta. But," he frowns as he watches the last she-wolf flee, "why would they expand? Our territories here are so large, we rarely see other packs." And that this one had chosen to expand into their territory...perhaps rumors he'd heard from other wolves and the birds were true.

Silver nodded her head slowly "our territories are large, and we have the means to expand on all sides except this one" she nodded to where the enemy's wolves had come "So it's not so much as they need our territory then them trying to shove us out, an act of dominance if you will, I see no other need for such violence, they didn't even attempt to flee until the Beta was killed and only then was it the omegas that ran" she lifted her silvery white eyes to look at Blaze
Starlight looked at everyone, but she only smiled when she saw that everyone is okay and walking. But she felt anger still run through her body when they were attacking them. She looked at her injuries and then turned heading to the pack lumping but she kept on walking. Star stayed silent and ignored the pain like she did when she was fighting. All that mattered to her was that everyone was okay.

Blaze snorts in disgust. "Omegas. First ones in to die, first ones to flee when the fight turns sour. At least our Omegas still have their honor." Watching Starlight limp away, he growls in anger and turns back towards the fleeing she-wolf. "We shouldn't let her get away, Beta. This may have been a test and leaving too many survivors may cause us more trouble."
Starlight felt her body fill with pain making her vision turn blurry. She may be sick but being hurt at the same time made her worse then she thought. She still walked where she wanted to go now. Back to the lake and under the tree where she could rest. She would heal or feel better for the next attack but just needed to lay down. She felt blood spill out of her words but only some not all. Star kept her ears up high so she could know for the next attack. Star limped all the way to the lake not bothering to stop or turn around cause she knew everyone was okay. They were busy on what to do with the fleeing wolf. When Star was next to the tree she finally let her body collapse to the ground. Earning a silent whimper of forgetting about her wounds again. When it came to killing, Star had a problem of replaying the death of the wolves she killed. It only made her feel guilty but half of her felt happy of the taste of blood in her mouth.

Silver lifted her head to look at Blaze "We killed a large portion of their pack today, I don't think more blood needs to be shed, besides, if it was an act of dominance then clearly they've lost and letting the she wolf return is best so she can inform them how they lost, even though we were hugely out numbered" The hair on Silver's shoulders stood up as she realized what it meant for them if it wasn't a territorial dispute.
Seeing that Angel and Ice were okay she turned and made her way across the clearing checking the bodies of their enemies to make sure they were dead, then she turned and limped toward the camp, she hoped there was still some deer left cause she was hungry.
Ice turned to Blaze. "I won't have any unnecessary bloodshed. Silver is right, we've dealt them a heavy blow and that is good enough for now. We should all head back to camp and rest and recover. There may yet be more battles ahead of us soon and I want us to be ready if and when they occur." He watched as Silver started to head back towards the camp. He also noticed that Star was already gone and wondered where she'd gone off to. He decided to wait behind for Angel and all of the others before he went back to camp.
Star looked up when she heard something run across the other side of the lake. The side where Star was at is the part of the packs territory. But on the other side is belongs to the pack that tried to attack us. She smelled the air and could faintly smell blood which made her snarl. Star slowly got up and limped to the water, she drank some of the cold water while she kept her senses on high alert. Star looked at her bloody body and almost jumped into the lake but she didn't want to be washed away somewhere else. So she turned around whimpering as she limped back to the tree. The water that she drank felt like she didn't drink any at all. She could still taste the blood in her mouth so she curled up her eyes half way closed as she watched her surroundings and listened to the birds chirp.

Blaze bows his head. "Of course, Alpha, Beta. I was simply voicing my concerns." Noting that Star had already wondered off, he sets off to find her, sniffing around until he found her scent and then following it. After a couple of minutes, he found her laying beneath a tree, half asleep but listening intently. "We are worried for you, Star. How are your injuries?"
Star looked at Blaze when he asked if she was okay. She just nodded a sign that she was fine and kept being silent. She could hear a faint sound of a stick breaking but she knew it was far. She knew why he was here tho, he was here to check if the other wolves where still here. She didn't bother telling him so she just looked at the lake. She knew the pain would get worse but she was okay.

As Silver limped her way back to camp she sighed in defeat as what was left of the deer was nothing but scraps the pups were tugging on, she'd have to go hunting again, lifting her black head she casted her silver gaze toward the lake where Starlight and Blaze could be seen, she knew Star was playing off her injuries, she just hoped it wasn't to bad, giving her bad leg a quick lick she turned her body opposite of the lake and padded out of camp, her limp was barely obvious but it was there.
She considered the other packs motives, it certainly didn't seem like a territorial dispute as they had enough hunting grounds, both territories did, if they expanded any further they'd be spreading themselves thin, so it had to be a challenge, either they wanted to drive Ice's pack from the valley or they wanted to take over the pack, her neck fur bristled at the idea, at least they were down a Beta male, she smiled silently to herself and moved low through the brush.
Star felt the cut on her back sting and scream to her that it was still here and it wont go away which made her eyes water. She let out a silent whimper that only she could hear. Star looked up at the sky, her moon grey eyes connected with the moon she always loved looking at. She knew her wounds would get worst but she didn't care anymore. Star just was happy no one died. Well....no one from her pack died.

Blaze could see Star wincing and growled softly. "Star, go to camp and let the medics look at you. At the very least let them close the wound." Blaze was proud of his pack, that they had held off a larger group of wolves from taking moving into their territory and from taking control of the pack, but the fact that there were such terrible wounds made him angry. He looked across the lake to the territory of the pack that had attacked them, contemplating the best way to keep an eye out for them. "Please let them help you, Star."
Star stood up again tearing her eyes away from the beautiful moon then looks at Blaze as she finally spoke "I'm fine. I don't need help" she whispers. Star knew everyone was worried about her because most of everyone in the pack doesn't know she is sick. She felt her heart squeeze making her let out a whimper. Maybe it was okay to let them help her, but.......she still didn't know.
