I think most benders fight unarmed, but there's no reason not to train in weapons.

Did we train the Avatar the first time? If that's the case shouldn't all the masters be in their thirties and forties? I would think that the masters would need time to become masters of their element before being qualified to train the Avatar.

@FantasyDreams To train Kasumi in weaponry? :/ And they are going to their respective nations, instead of staying at the Southern Water Tribe. I've done this roleplay many times and you are the first to ask that. Just saying.

Benders fight with bending not weapons. I mean look at Team Avatar, the only one to have a weapon is Sokka, the none bender. By dividing her focus between weapons and bender, the Avatar will not be as strong as she could in either, especially at a young age and the fact that she's practically learning the four different martial art styles the bending is based off of. Try and argue, I dare you. I'm a martial artist with ten years of experience and now I'm teaching other people how to defend themselves. I know what I'm talking about. I'm also insulted by the fact that you basically called me an idiot. This may be the only Avatar rp on here right now, but that does mean I have to be part of it. I can leave if I'm not wanted. And am not afraid to.

Yes, I'm sure everyone is aware that specialists are better at what they specialize than people who do the same things and extra. You can learn how to bend with a weapon or two in your hand. It's not like she has to spend an hour earth bending, and spend an hour weilding a hammer. Do both. I did make Jangbu a little older than Kasumi, and I'm not going to try to make him out to be a prodigy. Though maybe adding on another five years would make more sense.

Suspect, you are one of the worst GMs I have ever had to deal with. You didn't give us all the information up front and now nothing makes sense because the ages are too close. You also treated me like shit, so bye. I have nothing against anybody else in this roleplay and if you want to do anything with me in the future I look forward to it. As for Suspect, you are banned from any and all roleplays I make in the future, I will not be dealing with your bullshit again.

I'm at work right now so I can't really get into anything lengthy. I'll respond tonight when I get home. Also, can we spend some time figuring out everyone's relationship to each other? Kasumi mentions that she knows all of the other characters so I thought it would be a good idea to get some basic information that our characters would know about each other. Edit: Also, would it be alright if the ship was chartered by Kazue? She seems like the only character that could afford to hire a ship and crew just for them. I'll go ahead and put it in the post since I can always just edit later.

Well that's a shame. Can I ask you for the overall plot? I'd like to take over then if that's alright with you. You can send it to me over PM so there aren't any spoilers for everyone else. If it's alright with everyone else I'll post a link in this thread to carry it over once I get off work and you can all carry your characters over to the new one.

Hey guys, its the former Weapons Master here. Me and Suspect have been chatting via PMs. Apologies have been said on both sides and differences have been worked out. I'd been having a really bad day and was taking it out on you guys. My head's cool now, if you guys want me back as Weapon Master, I'm willing. :)

@Everyone Midori will be taking over from here. I didn't end the RP because me and Fantasy got into a squabble, no. I ended it because I haven't GM'ed in awhile and I don't think I am willing to get back into the authority scene just yet. Haha. But Midori, I shall PM you everything, now. :3
