I'll probably do both, or try to do both ha. As for Derek I do want it to be a surprise, but I'd also like to know how I'll have her react. Hm. Is there a way you could like give me a bit of info, that I know a little about what's coming but there's still room for plenty of surprises? If not I'll wing it ha.

Cool. Umm... I kinda already said this, but Derek is going to try and make Laurel look like an utter idiot. He's going to use a CI to give the FBI an irresistible nugget that looks perfect unless you have one, key piece of information. Which is what Jamie is going to give her when he finally speak.

Okay! Thanks for keeping me notified. I do have a question, though. What would you say is Laurel's area of expertise? White Collar covers a massive variety of money schemes, ranging from simple ones like tax fraud, to really big ones like art theft and ponzi schemes. What would she be best at solving?

Well I gave her a minor in art history so I'd say art theft/forgeries/anything to do with art. This could include jewels, old documents, that kind of stuff, too, I suppose.

Phoo. You've just made things very hard for me. How on earth am I going to make her look incompetent if she isn't even allowed out of the office? Which, I know, was kind of the point, and I'll see if I can find a way to work around it. So... She's gone for the weekend? How do we want to play the time skip? Or do we want to? I suppose that James could show up while she is talking to her family...

She's allowed out of the office? She can go to crime scenes and interview people and do investigation type things. I didn't think there could be no repercussions. I can change things, though, if you want and if it'll be easier. The family thing is just a day, something I can easily gloss over if I need to. I was thinking it was sill the middle of the week so there's a bit of time before she gets her day off that he can come back to her. Like I said I can change stuff if it'll be easier.

Ah. She can? I somehow got the impression from your post that she was only allowed out of the office for stakeouts. My bad. If she's still allowed to go into places and talk to potentially guilty people, I'm good. Ah! Again, cool. I guessed that it was Friday, because she was asking for the weekend off, but if it is the middle of the week that'll work. How about this? I'm going to have Jamie show up again as soon as she gets home (that about equates to the end of my post with Jenna), and then they'll have a complicated evening trying to deal with each other, and then the next morning things will happen.
