Oh, crap, forgot to snag the 100th post. Congrats Fox. N'ways, the way it was planned to go about in the old RP was that partnerships could vary, as they were mixed. Could be an offensive and support partner, two supports, or two offensives. Usually pairs would pair up with others to form temporary teams of four. There's no exact order of partner combat types, it's all up to the RPers themselves.

1) New year or death, which ever comes first. Alternatively you could send in a request form, but that guarantees nothing 2) Pairs. After all, just because you have the ability to go solo in theory, doesn't mean you should. Of course, this varies depending on the opposition. Sending in 4 Gatekeepers to clear out a small den of wild animals is probably overkill, while deciding to take on a whole dungeon of boss-tier enemies by oneself is stupidly overconfident.

Partners are subject to change either when the pair submits a form to split, when one of the 2 dies, or the end of the year. Of course, forms are renewable at the start of the new year, and stuff. Depending on the difficulty rating/classification of a target/dungeon/thing (We'll just refer to these as Black Gates for now, since we are gatekeepers, and all) a gatekeeper might go in solo, or take an entire army. Obviously, certain gatekeepers don't do solo, and some only go in solo. Grey... well, I'll keep this up anyway.

Alright I got a,few other questions, tell me if I get a bit annoying, but never know if y'all don't ask. What kind of security is there in the school that one could learn about through either asking about it or casual observation. Is it an open campus with students free to come and go as they please, or is it, for lack of a better example, Hogwarts, with the students fairly confined to the school save for scheduled trips out. Are on campus rooms shared or individual, and is there a curfew on campus. That should sate me for now, but I'm a flavor whore honestly.

Dang flabbit Jed, how are people going to think I'm dark and edgy now that they know I go to church? Anywhooo.... @The Fox Without 1) An crappy electric collar is still not what I would call adequate measure to restrain an inhuman death row inmate. 2) Mana detection is a thing. Your concealment of presence spell is moot point. 3) I 'unno man, the bit about "reversing vampiric nature" just strikes me as really odd. @Card Captor Yeah, basically you don't need to justify having a human form as a unicorn. My favorite thing from my OC has to be Sid. I had a bit of a laugh when the idea for him popped into my head.
