Is this a good Idea to anyone? If yes and I get a few people to join me, I will give you more detail. I am looking for assistance as well with what races would be available. How instances work compared to Sorcery. Where Enchantments can be collected as well as artifacts. Not sure if the instances would be like put into wands so to speak so that when war happens, the player, would wave it about rather than having to learn it like a spell. Anyways, opinions would be appreciated. *Edit* If there is another, ongoing Magic: The Gathering Nation RP going on, can you please link it below?

This seems cool, but it seems to be missing the best bit of MTG, which is Planeswalking and the cool shit that comes from it. Perhaps you structure things like a nation RP, but instead of having them players control a nation directly they control a Planeswalker and have the planeswalkers use nations on various Planes to work towards their goals.

This seems cool, but it seems to be missing the best bit of MTG, which is Planeswalking and the cool shit that comes from it. Perhaps you structure things like a nation RP, but instead of having them players control a nation directly they control a Planeswalker and have the planeswalkers use nations on various Planes to work towards their goals.
Or perhaps a "clashing of Planes" as the context. Interplanar mumbo-jumbo results in Alara-esque merging of Planes, and inevitable conflict.

That sounds good. Have each player play as the plainswalker corrosponding to a particular plane, then have some crazy batshit magic bullshit chuck them, and a bunch others, together, and have every one work things out and decide what to do for their particular plain

So the Planeswalkers would be commanders and or the leaders of the nation? The nations would be founded within different dimensions? I'm not entirely positive about this part, but can Planeswalkers open portal/gateways to another dimension?

These would have to be the godlike Planeswalkers from before the Mending.

Only for themselves, generally.

I'm quite familiar with the lore, and I've had attempts at running an MtG game before. I can take the reigns for this if there's interest.

Hm, the first thing we would need would be a new IntCheck. The second thing would be players. I had a hard enough time finding players for a casual MtG game, much less a Nation RP, which verifiably has a smaller player base.

Never played Magic that much, although I do have a decent deck that kicks ass. I would be interested in joining this if given a little more info. Maybe the planeswalker would be the king of their plans(nation) and you control the planeswalker an act as you where the king ruling a nation? I have no idea, just trying to throw something out there.
